Stunning views from your room, walking distance to some great restaurants, getting busy at night in the area. wake up in the morning to the sound of waves breaking, rooms are very comfortable guarantees a good nights rest.

We stayed here one night. The reception staff provided no welcome or information about the hotel, and any information had to extracted question by question. Lift not working. Beautiful view from room and restaurant over ocean. Room itself in need of repair. Toilet seat almost coming off, power points hanging out of wall, air conditioning not working, curtains mouldy. Evening meal basic and just edible.

We stayed here one night. The rooms are dated, and not everything in the room was working right. The hotel was full with tour bus groups and they had to move a lot of the furniture into the hallways. Very unappealing! There was a lot of noise outside the rooms. The breakfast was one of the worst I've ever had! Cold coffee, tasteless eggs, no fruit, no yogurt. On the positive side, the views are stunning!

We arrived late on a sunday to a very friendly and professional front of office gentleman, my family checked into two beautiful rooms with a stunning view. The hotel's location is great within walking distance to resturant over looking the beach, but the hotel's views are second to none. The next day we woke up to a nice and spacious area where we could have a delicious breakfast in peace. Thank you Point Hotel for a lovely stay ! we'll definately be back .

Really happy with the quality of service provided by the hotel staff. The vicinity near the hotel is incredible especially the Natural Tidal Pool that lies just below the hotel. Amazing view from the room.

V stayed here for 3nyts in a higher level sea facing room and the beauty was mesmerising. They have a superhelpful and polite staff. They have a mini bar which serves a variety of drinks and eatables. The best part was that we had a glimpse of two whales in the ocean from our room.

This hotel probably offers the best view in Mossel bay. The two tourist attractions of Mossel bay, tidal pool and the light house are under 2 minutes of walk. The sea facing rooms offers amazing view. Check in was fast and hassle free. Rooms are large. The hotel offers decent varieties of veg palate to suit your taste buds. We had all types mouth watering Indian chats during one night. The highlight of our stay was sighting of 30 - 40 dolphins during breakfast. The service staff was always cheerful and glad to serve you. Reception had full knowledge of the local attractions and attentive to our queries. Overall had a great time.

So disappointed by our experience. Indian owner management proved cheapest. This supposedly 4 star hotel obviously has not been rated recently.just 2 star rated. Except for the service and friendliness of 4 staff members nothing good can be said about anything or anyone else!encountered a very rude chambermaid banging on the room door to demand a wet towel . Poor food, if there was anything left! Tables were not cleared in the dining room. You were lucky if there was seating available. Shortage of cutlery, crockery and linen. Rooms were filthy and often still not cleaned by 17hoo!

Only good thing for the hotel is location. It is like 2-3 star hotel with average rooms and no services. Breakfast below average with limited items and poor quality. Staff is not helping at all. Common toilets are not clean. Only sea facing rooms is the plus point of the hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Point hotel. View was amazing, listening to the waves crashing all night was unreal. Spectacular view and location with the lighthouse and cave right next door. The room was perfect it was large roomy and with a balcony to watch the ocean the beautiful bathroom I couldn't have been happier. We had half board and the food was brilliant and staff were all lovely and friendly. We loved this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer. There is free parking and it appears they are in the process of renovating but it didn't affect our stay. The only negative was the bed was a little on the small size but it was actually a comfortable bed. Can't recommend this place highly enough

Great location and the staff are fantastic. They are friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, the only asset being maintained. Upon the arrival, the lift was out of order and we carried our luggage to our room on the top floor (the staff did offer to help). The TV was not working, nor was the air conditioning unit and a series of other faults. These include the extractor fan in the bathroom that was clogged up with Months of dirt and making loud noises. I made a video recording of this and showed it to the front desk manager, as the fan screams intermittently. The primary asset of this venue is the beautiful view. It is, therefore, inexplicable why they dumped their building rubble right in front of the breakfast venue totally spoiling the experience. TIP: despite the rubble, insist on a sea-facing room. The back rooms are subjected to all the noise from restaurant patrons continuing their party in the car park.

So much potential! The view is stunning, but that is where it ends for this hotel on the point in Mossel Bay! The hallways are gloomy and the rooms are need of serious upgrades. We were on the 4th floor and all the rooms opening up to the other side of our hallway had no doors and were under some kind of lack lustre construction with mattresses and dry wall piled on top of each other...not a welcoming sight as we walked to our room at the end of the hallway and also a very musty smell! Breakfast was less than satisfying as compared to other places we stayed at on our journey down the Garden Route. Stayed March 2017, travelled as a couple

The rooms are revamped, all face the sea, flat screen TV and the best breakfast around. Here for the first time in a while i had a genuine poached egg perfectly presented. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the rooms all have a sea view and you feel as though you can reach out and touch the water. Soap, shampoo and shower caps are provided and the overall experience was great.

The Hotel is beautifully located. There was building taking place and drilling and hammering could be heard throughout the day every hour. The food is reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly.
