Great breakfast food! Have been to Sparks twice now for breakfast and both meals were delicious. The parking lot was packed both times but we got in right away. Food comes quick too. If your sitting in the right spot you can watch them cook the food. The grill is right out front. Only downside is they don't accept debit or credit cards but if you know that going in its not a problem. Prices are very reasonable.

Just visiting the area, never been to Sparks Grill before, but the reviews were good so we stopped in for breakfast. The parking lot was full, including 15 motorcycles, so we weren't optimistic about getting seated or getting breakfast quickly. But it is a pretty good sized place and we got seated right away. There were three chefs behind the counter and they kept the food coming - we got our order faster than expected. Plenty of food, wait staff worked together to keep the coffee hot. I'll be back if I'm in the area again.

Recently purchased a permanent campsite in Montello and once in awhile you just want someone else to cook, but not all the trappings of the touristy crowds. This place was perfect and had a quirky atmosphere I loved! It serves breakfast all day if you are wondering, AND you get to watch them cook it. The grill is right at a counter that probably seats about 15. Plenty of dining room and parking space as well with a "classic diner" vibe. I wanted lunch and had a Patty Melt and Jalapeno Poppers which were fine for what I wanted. Fresh never frozen patties, a good rye bread reasonably priced. But I was on vacation so I justified dessert! Soooooo worth it! The eclair cake was phenomenal! Fresh made real whip cream was divine! Will be returning many many times to this gem!

Can't go wrong by stopping here for some good ol' home cookin' on a grill. Their fast service is amazing to see in action. It's one of a kind. You'll have to stop in to see for yourself. Very impressive. Food was very tasty.

Down home cooking, easy going but quick and attentive service. Cannot get enough of their Sara Lee Pound Cake french toast.

We've been there several times for breakfast and lunch. Their portions are big! The service is fast and friendly! Our last visit was on St. Patrick's Day. The corned beef and cabbage was delicious!!

I looked for a spot half way to my daughters and found this gem in Montello. It has good reviews so here we are. First, our waitress is a 10. She is friendly, efficient and didn't rush us as we visited. We ordered onion straws, onion rings, broasted chicken dinner, bacon cheeseburger special, and a cup of chili. Everything was great and we finished it off with pies from the pie list. The prices are good and the atmosphere is open diner/cafe with just the right amount of background music and conversations.

We've been going to Sparks for years. It is actually about a half hour from us but we think it is worth the drive. The food comes out lightening fast. The wait staff is down to earth and attentive. The food is yummy and the prices are economical. It is very cafe/diner style. You may even be called "Honey". I don't know about you but I kind of like that.

We ate lunch at Sparks Grill on a roadtrip across the Midwest. It was very busy when we were there and prices were reasonable. Overall, it was nothing spectacular a standard small town diner. It was quite loud and chaotic and the food was alright for the price but far from the best meal I've had.

This is a great place for breakfast; we usually go on Sundays. They're usually quite busy, but they are very efficient, and breakfast is served pretty quickly (under 10 minutes). The food is always good, and we enjoy the wait staff.

Not electricians, but firemen. The grill is a bit misnamed as it is a very nice café with lots of home cooked dishes like beef roast and mashed potatoes. Salads are OK but certainly nothing fancy. You have to just enjoy the atmosphere of a small town eatery. Sara Lee Pound Cake French toast is the house breakfast specialty but having high cholesterol and a coronary incident in my past told me to pass on the opportunity. Prices are certainly reasonable if not cheap. Look at the firemen's patches on the walls for a quick trip around the U.S.

Sparks is a great place to go if you want to be treated good, have good food to eat and want to be waited on right away. They serve breakfast all the time. They also have full meals, sandwiches and soups on the menu, and we can't forget their desserts. Good hometown food. You won't be disappointed no matter what you order.

Food is always great, especially the eggs benedict and the grilled chicken & bacon sandwich. The real impressive feature is the staff. No matter how busy they are everyone has a smile & kind work and you don't have to wait long for your order. They are only open for breakfast & lunch but it's worth the trip.
