Thw two of us ordered Nam Kao, chicken larp, pad Lao with flank steak, papaya salad, and sticky rice--to try out their take on our favorite Lao dishes. Papaya salad was exceptional. The rest were very good, though the rice was a bit on the hard and dry side. We love hot and spicy foods, but ordered all dishes but one as mild. The medium dish (lamp) was hot and good but we were glad we hadn't ordered everything medium not. Maybe next time! They serve the tasty BeerLao, but the night we were there they ran out. We'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend's co worker who is Laotian/Thai brought us and another couple here to eat some of the best Lao/Thai food that we have ever had. We haven't had Lao style food before however we have eaten Thai food at other restaurants and none of them compare to this restaurant. The atmosphere was low key and we were able to be seated immediately. The woman who served us I believe was the owner and she was very polite and quick to get us something to drink and my boyfriend's co worker helped us order as the food here is meant to be served family style. We got chicken pad thai, squid salad, a whole fried fish (in a delicious sauce with onions and peppers), papaya salad (very spicy!), sticky rice (which we were showed to roll it up into bite size balls and dip it into the food that was meant to be complimented by the rice), Lao style beef jerky, ground up pork with lime juice and cilantro salad and a beef lettuce wrap that you make on your own and we all had some very yummy Thai Iced Tea. For 5 people this was an enormous amount of food and we all ended up taking a little bit of everything home! Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. We have never experienced something like this and I know that we will definitely be coming back here. Also just a note that if you do come here (which you most certainly SHOULD!) it is CASH ONLY. They do not accept cards or checks, so make sure to take some money out before hand. Plus don't let the outside fool you as it does have the "hole in the wall" look to it but it is the best place! If you are in the area and want to try something different, this is the place to go! Enjoy!

This place may not look like much but the food is great. Authentic Lao food prepared fresh and to your specification. The owner provides friendly service to all guests.

This is my favorite Thai/Laotian place in town! The dishes come VERY spicy, though, so be sure to ask them to take it down a notch if you don't think you can handle it (ain't no shame, baby!). Their deep-fried fish is SO good!
