We came with a group of six after a day on a sailboat charter and just wanted some appetizers during Happy Hour. The service was very good, the views amazing and the steamed shrimp as well as the oysters on the half shell very good. A glass of Chardonnay on the side.....happy we were! Yes, we would come back

Found online before a trip and made a point of checking it out with friends that live in the area. Surprisingly they had not heard about Snooky's. I ordered exactly what had gotten my attention on the menu. She crab soup and fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were fabulous, served with crumbled bacon pimento cheese and ranch dressing. You cannot go wrong with this combination! It was an amazing treat for the senses! The she crab soup, while very good, was not any different from most cream of crab soups served up and down the east coast. Others in our party enjoyed a great fish sandwich, burger and fish tacos. Portions were large, especially for lunch. We enjoyed our meal outdoors on the upper deck overlooking the interests. Truly looking forward to my next visit, my only request would be a little more space between tables and more comfortable stools.

Happy hour prices are great , had wings that weren’t bad just needed a little more hot sauce on them . Went back a 2nd for pick and peel shrimp witch were a nice size and cooked just right. Would recommend.

Stopped in for lunch mid week. The view is outstanding. Hard to go back to work. The food is just good, not great. I had the grouper sandwich and she crab soup. The soup had good taste, but very little, if any, crab. The sandwich was better but a very thin piece of grouper. Service was excellent. I think they can do better. I might try them again.

Try the grouper oscar....the captains tower is a great combination of seafood from the raw bar. The filet oscar is great for anyone looking for a steak with a little extra. Covered deck with a great view. Local favorite for a long time.

Nice local seafood dining option located off of inlet. Nice selection of food. Outdoor seating available - although high-stool seating not the most comfortable. Limited indoor seating.

We go to Snooky's by the Water every time we visit the area. They are consistently good! I especially love the Grouper Oscar dinner which is one of their signature dishes. The nice portion of grouper is covered with crab and shrimp all cooked/seared to perfection and lightly drizzled with a cream sauce. It is served with asparagus, not overdone, and smashed potatoes. My spouse ordered the same for the first time since I have raved about it for the past couple of years. She was equally impressed! Definitely try this place if you are anywhere near Little River, SC.

We opted for for lite-fare She crab soup was hot and creamy . With a hint of Sherry and ample amount of Roe and crabmeat. Gulf raw Oysters were fresh and cold , on the small size. Very Tasty. Sesame coated Tuna seared perfect, was very fresh. It was served with mild Wasabi sauce. It would better with strong Wasabi, Pickled Ginger and Soy on the side. We talked to the new owner who seems very customer oriented and anxious to please their customers. Jessica our server was very attentive to our needs and knows the choices on the menu. This is going to be where we go. Being on the ICWW and Cricket Cove adds a lot of ambiance to to your experience. Happy Hour treats look very good 4 to 7 pm Music on Thursday nights Thank You for a wonderful afternoon.

The blue crab mac & cheese was yummy, the wine was chilled but the view is the best part of the visit! Since I live at the beach, I get spoiled often at ICW locations and Snookys doesn't disappoint. Fun to see the boats coming in to the marina. Don't be in a hurry, relax, that's how it's done living coastal!

Wow! What a find for a great local seafood restaurant! Super location sitting outside over the inter coastal water way eating the catch of the day prepared perfectly! And the service was excellent as well. The only regret I had was no more room to try seafood from the raw bar......and then there was homemade key lime pie!

We were seated immediately upon arrival and I love the view. No liquor license yet so the new owners comp the liquor. Now who does that? Someone very smart who wants your business. Nicely done. The grouper bites were yummy. Hubby had the conch fritters that he enjoyed. I had the salmon BLT sandwich which was huge and delicious. Hubby had shrimp roll. Service was fantastic. Keep up the good work.

My wife and I went to Snooky's last Monday afternoon after hearing one of our friends raving about their fried green tomatoes a few days earlier. We were greeted by a very nice valet parking attendant who told us where to go to get seated. The greeter was very polite and promptly got us a table on the outside deck. We learned that Snookys did not yet have their liquor license and were remedying that by serving complimentary wine or beer to anyone dining with them. My wife and I took them up on a nice Pinot Noir. For our appetizer, we ordered their fried green tomatoes and found them to be delicious. My dinner choice was a crab cake sandwich and my wife ordered grilled scallops with sweet potatoe fries. We were both a little underwhelmed. Flavor wise, my crab cake was well seasoned. Unfortunately, it was undercooked and cold in the middle of the crab cake. My wife liked her sweet potatoe fries - they were tasty. Her scallops were cooked just about right, but were not really seasoned with anything - kind of bland... Our thought is that maybe the kitchen crew are a little new and could use some coaching to improve their skills. As far as our waitress goes, she was extremely attentive, very helpful, and polite.

Four of us for lunch. We've eaten here many times , first time under new ownership. We ordered: Caesar wedge with grilled chicken, shrimp roll, spinach salad with fried chicken, chicken club. Friendly service, we all enjoyed our food. We were very happy food and service stayed the same under new ownership. Great views and location at Cricket Cove Marina.

We heard that the restaurant was under new ownership & the food was very good, but we found the food to be "okay" but at the prices they are asking it was very disappointing...seating outdoors is tight but is located with a "marsh" view and ICW passage to a local marina.

Went here and had a delicious meal - both seafood and steak were perfect. The shrimp and grits were especially good. Great place for raw seafood also. Fun time inside or out with live entertainment.

Snooky's has new owners and they've stepped up the game noticeably. The first change you'll see is the cover over the original deck and a new deck at mid level. Dining outside is very enjoyable as you look over the marina. The new owners also added an oyster bar and freshened up the interior decor with new booths, tables and chairs. A very nice casual ambiance. The food at Snooky's has always been very good and continues to be. Tonight I had their Shrimp and Grits and let me tell you, if I can figure a way to get back there tomorrow, I'll have Shrimp and Grits again! Snooky's version of this Low Country staple is very unique. Who would ever thought to serve the dish with pita bread? Hey, it works! Snooky's adds a very melty cheese to the dish along with andouille sausage, red bell peppers, onions, and of course stone ground grits and succulent shrimp. This is an amazing dish! There are several very interesting dishes on the menu that beg trying including the Blue Crab Mac n Cheese. Don't miss their Bloody Mary Bar at Sunday brunch. They offer two different types of Bloody Mary mix and a full array of additions including blu cheese, olives (of course), okra, jalapeños, and BACON. Snooky's is my first choice for great seafood dining in the North Myrtle Beach area.

Snooky’s on the Water As we were waiting for our Jet Ski rental at Island adventure, we went to Snooky’s to get something to hold us over on our ride. We were seated immediately and told the water that we were in a hurry because we had a rental at 2:30. (we arrived at 1:45) We ordered drinks and two appetizers. Drinks came out right away, although one Diet Coke was flat, but was quickly remedied. The two appetizers we ordered were chicken fingers and cheese fries. As the clocked ticked we waited and waited. When it was 2:10 I went to the bar, paid our bill and asked that the food be put in to go containers. We then waited some more, and I went to the rental place to make sure they would not leave without us, and left my wife and son to pick up the food when it came out. They finally came out about 2:20.. After our ride, we got to eat our apps. The Fries were good, lots of cheese, but the 2.5 chicken fingers were burnt and barely edible. (2 normal size strips and one less than half the size) This place looks like a nice place to have lunch on the water, but I can only tell you my experience. The staff was pleasant, and the place looked clean. Please keep in mind that this is based on one visit. I can't see how they could stay in business if the service was this slow all the time.
