I have now visited the British Bulldog Pub more than a few times with friends or on my own. The service has always been great, friendly and fast. The food isn't just your typical pub food although it does include pub food. There are a good amount of Irish dishes that are quite tasty as well as American ones. The only things that aren't superior are the french fries. They are hand cut so that is something good but they are very limp and not as tasty as the rest of the food. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible taste of the Scotch egg on the list of appetizers and will definitely be ordering that again. The chicken Caesar wrap is my favorite.

A bit out of town but WORTH IT. At first, aww, it's in a shopping center. Once inside you forget that detail. EXCELLENT English food here. We lived in the U.K. for three years and can attest. Beer lovers have a lot to choose from, as well.

Went with a friend on a Friday to try prime rib special served Friday night only. As we were waiting for bar seating we got a look at prime rib coming out and it looked amazing. I know one of the servers there and she said it was amazing! Only one problem-there was a guy seated in the middle of bar blowing huge vape clouds into the air. We were told they just put in new ceiling fans which made it even worse. We left and went to J Peter's on Beltline Blvd which always has great prime rib. The owners or managers at BB should ban vaping, you're losing more customers than you know.

I enjoy stopping here to grab a good beer and eat some great food. They have about 50 selections of craft beers from around the world and their prices are great. The cheesecake is out of this world!!!

We have been coming in here since the opening. Live music four days a week. Fish and chips is great, burgers are fantastic and the staff does their best to make sure everyone has a good time

I am admitting upfront that I am biased; however, the Pub is warm and inviting and enjoyed myself. I had the Cottage Pie which was tasty and full of meat and vegetables with a very light pastry top. Everyone enjoyed their selves, waitress was fast and apologetic but the kitchen was slow (Unusual?). Ample parking and easily accessible.

Well, usually we have a wonderful meal here. Not today! We arrived. We were seated quickly, then waited and waited and waited (about 15 min). The manger came over and said out waiter was busy and took out during order. Then we waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited (over 30 min). Until we noted a new couple getting their order from our supposed waiter. Bulldog really screwed the pooch this time. Not a big fan or 'ignore'

Met with some business associates here. I had the cottage pie. Serving size did not disappoint. Oh and it came with a side of steamed veggies. Worth every penny spent.

Found BB on an app because I was in a nearby hotel. I go to England twice a year, and enjoy a good pub. This is a great pub, excellent food, good draft beers, a great bar. I enjoyed everything about BB. Good service., nice, extensive menu. Great fish and chips... A great pub with character! And a great bar, kitchen

My Bride and I were overnighting in Columbia on our way to Charleston. Looking for some good food. Longhorn was so busy there was no parking available and the throng at the door indicated a nice long wait. Headed across the highway and stumbled across the British Bulldog Pub. I love Pub food, authentic pub food. I started with a scotch egg, it was delicious and hot and clearly freshly made... Menu was loaded with wonderful options from bangers and mash, cottage pie and all the regular suspects. I could not resist the fish and chips... two sizes offered, I was hooked when I saw Haddock... We were not disappointed, even the fries were really fresh and clearly hand cut home made and hot and delicious... the fish was amazing and the portion went from one end of the long plate to the other.... I am still moaning from the amount I ate, but I am also still smiling from the flavor and absolute delight of the dining experience. Did I mention the service. Omar was our server, he was really great, and helpful and attentive. The management was also readily available, even came over when we were done and took our empty plates while he asked if we were happy and having a good dining experience. I am still smiling.... and this was a Friday night at 7pm

Stopped in for some food with a British flavour and was not disappointed. This was a great find, tucked away in an unexpected location. The Service was excellent. Wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was outstanding. I had my favorite, Cottage Pie. It was delicious and the serving size was more than adequate. The menu contained a great variety of traditional British Pub foods, plus southern favorites. Prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was truly British Pub casual.

Ordered Hamburger with goat cheese & compost (yummy!]. My friend had blackened chicken salad, also very good. Excellent service (Omar). Good pub. We had planned to eat at Wild Wings, but when we walked in we immediately noticed how dirty it was (8 unbussed tables.) I would go again.
