Visited the place before we watched a Broadway show. There was a piano playing while we were having dinner. Cool. Ordered lamb, spring chicken, potatoes and dumplings. All authentic Russian. Be prepared to wait for your main course about 30 mins.

Charming service. Excellent violinist; 3-piece group, also singer (Khazakh?) and Russian pianist; were together in theatre in Leningrad. And of course theatre people are theatre people anywhere, Leningrad or Stratford-upon-Avon. "Yesterday", "La Vie en Rose" but also songs in Russian. We both had a shot of the vodka suggested by the waiter: very smooth. Food absolutely OK but nothing more. The essential: terrific atmosphere.

The staff are very friendly, the piano player is incredible. The best part is they infuse their own Vodka! I don't know how many they have but I loved the horseradish and garlic Vodkas. Yes, garlic vodka! I will go back any time I am in the city!!!

This restaurant was recommended by the theater showing The Present as a pre-theater destination. The prix-fixe menu was excellent and priced well. The infused vodkas were a little odd (horseradish? Coriander? Hot pepper?) but I actually enjoyed the ginger-infused one. Food was excellent and the piano music very nice. Would def go again.

My husband and I were looking for some good Russian food, and this was excellent! We had mushroom and potato Pieroghi; beet salad, borscht, and beef stroganoff. Topped off with yummy apple strudel - Everything was superb! KandD773

Lugar muy divertido! Muy buena comida y bebidas, pero lo mas interesante es la buena onda del lugar!

Went with one other couple. Music was fantastic: piano, violin, singer. Vodka was interesting, but we had 3 flights nonetheless. Wouldn't have coriander again.
