Radio City Christmas Spectacular: From a beautiful rendition of “The Nativity” to a condensed version of “The Nutcracker” (complete with the iconic toy soldier line), the Radio City Christmas Spectacular is truly deserving of its label. And of course, there is an abundance of the most famous man in a red suit with a white beard.

Saw Hozier here w/ Ron. This was the second visit to RCMH for me, but the first time I paid attention to the design. It's a pretty gorgeous Art Deco structure, inside and out. Apparently there are tours of the building just to talk about the decoration.

Home to the famous Rockettes, this timeless testament to entertainment has captivated visitors since the 1930s. There are daily tours (10am–5pm) and shows constantly offered.

Radio City first opened in 1932 and has hosted some of the most famous names in music. If you aren't able to see a show here there are inexpensive tours available that will let you see one of the most famous venues in the world up close and personal.

Having bought the 5-day New York Pass, we were granted free admission to the Stage Door Tour which runs daily from 9:30am till 5:00pm-duration of tour is 60 minutes. It was an amazing tour, the tour guide was fantastic in his deep explanations of the whereabouts of this famous Hall.It was entertaining and rich in its history. We learnt about the genesis of Radio City Music Hall and the legendary Rockettes. Together with the tour guide we explored the secrets of the Great Stage, amazing art-deco interiors and production areas, seen the vast Radio City art collection and even met one of the world-famous Rockettes.

Over the years we have attended the Christmas Spectacular numerous times, and never been disappointed. This past weekend was the concert performance of Two Cellos. It was amazing, and should not be missed when they return to the Big Apple.

From the minute you walk through the door you are taken back to the 1930's. the art deco interior is beautiful. Our tour guide certainly knew his stuff, lots of info on the building and is history. The actual theatre is breath taking. A real must if you love theatre or art deco. It is the home of the famous Rockettes dance troupe and you get to meet one of the dancers. The tour lasts just over an hour but is packed with information and an insight into theatre life. Highly recommended .

Luckily, me and some friends chose this place to see The Rockets. This is one of the best shows I ever so, it is sooooo worth it! The costumes, the dances, Christmas spirit was all around. Do not miss it if you are in NY before Christmas.

Radio City Music Hall is an icon of NYC - the size is overwhelming but the acoustics are excellent for concerts, movies, etc. If you come to town during the Holidays, make a point of seeing the Rockettes, a New York City tradition

if you are going to Rockefeller Center, you need to stop by the Radio City Music Hall, it was very cool and was worth the stop Do yourself a favor and not go much after dark during the Christmas Season because it gets so crowded that it was dangerous with the kids

The show can be fun, but I miss the movie and the girls. The shows are generally geared to disney type audiences, good, but not great. But the dancers are still good looking, and (I think) women enjoy them as much or more than we men.

we where walking down the street, out come the barricades. Traffic was diverted, and out come the dancers. The preformed a couple songs and danced in street, very pleasant surprise.

We go to the Christmas show every year! It never fails to put you right into the Christmas spirit. The Show and santa are just great and if you get discount tickets it's even better. A must see if you are in NYC at Christmas Time.

This came as a surprise, I had no idea the inside is as beautifully maintained with the original decor. The tour guide was excellent though a bit robot like. You'll not regret paying for this visit

If you don't go anywhere else, go here. It is such an iconic building. We were very lucky on our tour as we got to go on stage and then underneath the stage to see all the workings. The tour guide was excellent, she knew her stuff. Great photo opportunities too.

If you ever go to Radio City Music Hall , go for the Christmas show and purchase the best tickets you can , down in the front. They are fabulous and worth every dime. Beautiful girls, I believe 5' 9" and over with gorgeous legs and outfit changes. Your heart will beat , your joy will rise, it's that good ! If you have a young daughter or granddaughter or a son or grandson who loves dance , please take them. Myself and my daughter took my granddaughter when she was six , and had just been in dance school about a year. She loved it , but, I would now suggest at least 8 or 9 or over. She was very tired after our dinner first , and then waiting in line , not too long , maybe 20 minutes and an hour and 50 minute train ride from New Haven , Connecticut. Too much for a six year old. She is 18 now and would love to go again. We have been to the city several times but always stayed overnight for one or two nights ; shopped , had lunches and dinners out , went to China. Town for reasonably priced knockoffs ( always haggle price with them , they expect that ) and start to walk away and 8 out of 10 times they will offer you a better price , lest you get a booth or two away at a smaller price. It's fun and Little Italy is just near by if you want Italian food for lunch or dinner. Take a subway to China town and walk two streets over to little Italy. New Yorkers are great and WILL give you directions. DON'T believe that old nonsense that their impolite ! Just don't ask someone who appears to be in a hurry. Great, not to be missed show , and I hope to take my granddaughter to this year's Christmas Show. Have a ball and make a day or even overnight of it , if affordable for you. One show that's not to be missed ! Bonnie

We attended the stage door tour and it was fab !!! I believe it was $24 and lasted about 80 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed getting the opportunity to explore this gorgeous and vast theatre. We had exclusive access to the auditorium and backstage areas. We had the opportunity to meet a rocket and we were told tons of fascinating stories and facts!! Highly recommend!!!

This place is definitely retro, which is great and nostalgic, but some things could use some restoring! They also could use someone to clean up during the events, as the bathrooms very very dirty. That being said, I would love to go back to more events here!
