I giggled at the ridiculous show-biz tableside tricks of Pops Alan Stillman and his son Michael because I can be so happy eating at their Quality Italian.

Yes, they make a chicken parm the size of a pizza. But that's only the beginning.

This is a great restaurant for just drinks or for dinner. We went for a double date and it was a great time. There are a LOT of businessmen at the bar after work and I wish I saw more women but its still a great ambiance and drinks are well made. The service is GREAT. The food was very good. great presentation for steaks. I wouldn't say the best in the city, but absolutely delicious nonetheless. I would absolutely return and will.

Came here around 1:30PM on a Saturday. No wait at all, food was delicious. I had the eggplant parm Benedict. Found it a little weird that it only came with 1 instead of 2 for a brunch Benedict order, but it was really good. A friend had the French toast and they prepare it right in front of you. Would recommend, I have to come back to try their dinner.

Truly Italian place with great local winelist. My favorite place to take an after work Campari. Especially if you can stand outside on the sidewalk.

I was looking forward to having dinner here with my two daughters. The first thing I noticed when I got to the restaurant is that they seated us very quickly in a very crowded restaurant so I was thrilled by that. However, this restaurant is very busy, very crowded and very very noisy! I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic date, because it's more like a business meeting eatery. I was disappointed in the veal chop that I ordered. It was extremely dry. The ricotta was excellent and the wine delicious. The one thing I did notice was how superb the service was. Some of the best service I've ever received... the waiters attentive and intuituve ...you didn't even when have to ask. I probably would give it another chance and order something different from the menu

Each time we visit NYC we try to eat here and it is booked, we finally secured a reservation and were so excited. Our reservations were for 6:30, our waiters were not friendly and we could not hear the specials as it was so loud. We barely finished our appetizers when dinner arrived. The veal chop was pounded to an 8th of an inch and had about 30 mozzarella balls on top. It looked unappetizing and tasted dry. As soon as we took our last bite the plates were removed and check was given. Meal came to over $300 and we were out of restaurant by 7:30. I have never been so rushed out of a restaurant. So disappointing

Very convenient for those staying at the Quin across the street, this a delicious Italian food restaurant with excellent wine list! We go there every time we visit NYC.

What a great little spot, very cool old school kind of vibe. Lots of wood with high ceilings and white linens. The service here is fantastic. I was visiting my brother in NYC and we decided to have lunch here on a whim, glad we did. Our server was John P and he was wonderful. Super cool guy with very good recommendations and a definite New York accent, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We both had burgers, a couple of beers, and a caesar salad that was probably one of the best salads I've ever had in my life, really good, with cured lemons and tossed perfectly. We both cleaned our plates and vowed to come back again next time I'm in town. Great space, wonderful food. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is it's a little on the spendy side for lunch, but if you understand that you are in New York and everything here is expensive it really won't get to you that much, especially considering the location, great people watching, and great ambiance. I will definitely be back.

Superb service, outstanding food preparation, beautiful dining room and the most delightful desserts - cannoli made on a rolling cart at the table and a pistachio ice cream that I'll think about forever. Can't wait to go back. Outstanding experience in every way.

While the food was good (Lamb Chops and Chicken Parm), the noise level was unbearable. This may be a NYC thing, but everyone seemed to be yelling to conduct a conversation. Our server could hardly hear us, as we him. This is definitely not the place for intimate romantic meal.

We went as part of a celebratory dinner only 9 of us, great food and great wine selection however, it gets very loud during prime time making conversation within a table of 9 hard to hear! Would recommend for private group dinner if in a separate room but not a large group in the main dining area.

Went there with a group of 7, and they did a really good job! The waitress was among the best that I have had, personable and offering a lot of detail on preparation and asking if that would be satisfactory, or is she should order adjustments. This was not your typical Italian red sauce and pasta, but real food focusing on meats and fishes. The food was high quality, and had spectacular looking meats, such as the tomahawk rib eye, veal chop, berkshire pork chop, with unique sauces and gravies. Typical family style ordering on the sides, vegies. Brussels, broccoli rabe, mushrooms were all good! i forgot to mention the proscuitto and battenkill ricotta, must haves. Desserts were to die for, especially the cherry and rhubarb torta, which I was not expecting much from...but we ordered it because we wanted some dishes to share for the table. I would go again, and would recommend it to anyone. Expect highish prices, $35-55 for entrees, all a la carte. Wine selection was good, and the Valpolicella and Sangiovese based wines we had were excellent..

We were recommended to eat here by the concierge at our hotel. They didn't have a table in the restaurant so we ate at the bar. I can't remember the barman's name but he was brilliant and service was superb!!! Only one downside.....I think it was terribly expensive.....we had 'complimentary' garlic dough balls/bread and a ravioli main dish and the veal main dish plus a bottle of prosecco and it came to $193.00 which even tho the food was delicious I thought it was highly overpriced!!

Our flight into NY was delayed due to weather and got to our hotel after 10 pm. We were staying at 57th and 7th Ave and were starving. Bar food didn't really appeal and we saw that Quality Italian was open until 11pm. Got to restaurant just in time and even though it was close to closing, staff did not try to hurry us. The food is solid, yummy Italian food. We got the ricotta with pine nuts starter, the cheese was so tasty! We got the octopus appetizer and it was grilled and seasoned to perfection. All the entrees were tasty and flavorful. Yummy, cozy, comfort food. Perfect for a cold NY night.

The food was excellent. The view of the street from the second level was an added bonus. Service could have been a little more prompt for how empty the place was but overall it was good.

This place was very nice, cool atmosphere but it was pricey. It seems a little unfair of me to review a steak house when we didn't order steak but it is what it is. We had wonderful service. The waiter worked with us on a bottle of wine that was reasonably priced because the per glass amounts were crazy expensive. My friend got the branzino which she said was very good and I got the caesar salad (large enough to share, definitely, and very good), the eggplant polpette (again, very generous serving and they were out of this world good!) and an order of asparagus (seemed like an entire pound but at $12, expensive). The place overall was quiet but we were seated at one of those two tops that are right next to each other, all in a row, and it was impossible not to hear the conversations on either side of us, which I hate. All in all, it was a nice place but there are so many other places to choose from in NYC that have a more unique vibe that I don't think I'd choose this restaurant again. Maybe if we were big steak eaters, I'd feel differently.

One of the worst dining experiences I have had. The food was awfull and overpriced and the service was even worse. Do not go to this restaurant.

This isn't your grandfather's red sauce Italian joint. This is high class quality cuisine in a lively setting. My wife and got a cozy nook of a table with a view of the entire restaurant and there was plenty of action to watch. The food was amazing. We had the scallops as an appetizer and had the bone-in filet special and the tomahawk ribeye. Both cooked perfectly. But the big hit of the night was the canoli cart, where they make incredible canolis right in front of you. All in all a great experience. Pretty pricey though, but worth saving up for.

Big table well catered for by very friendly an efficient staff. The 12 people at dinner all seemed happy with food. Had a mixed selection of starters which were good. Chicken parmageana was great. My main was a pork chop. Good thick cut with nice sauce. Was a little dry. The dessert selection is fantastic.

I travel into the city often for business. This is my go to restaurant for business and pleasure. The food is incredible and never disappoints. I have never had a bad meal here and great lively ambiance.
