A super comfy coffee shop. One of my favorites, because of the big, beautiful windows compared to how small-ish it is inside. Sat here watching the heavy snow falling and listened to some good jazz.

They even have games and wine for our more adventurous morning coffee-goers (you know who you are). Enjoy!

We went to OST Cafe over the weekend and my Ba Ba accidentally left his wallet there. But by the honesty of Luke who works at the cafe, my dad got his wallet back 100% safe and sound! They definitely deserve a $10 tip! :)

Place was great when it opened: weren't SO many great alternatives - now tends to be overrun by the nightmare that NYU has released into the nabe. Tries to have the old world cafe vibe, but a victim of its own popularity so usually too crowded - and mostly with hipsters using it as a home office who get annoyed if you actually talk. Decent enough coffee products and pastries - but you'd do better to walk down to 10th street and head further east.

My friend and I stopped by here to grab coffee one morning. There was a line, so we had to wait a few minutes, but then we were helped. The inside was very light and airy. It was pretty, but it wasn't that big, so there weren't many places to sit if you wanted to enjoy your drink there. I got an almond milk latte and it was the best I'd had in the city. Very creamy. I was very impressed. So if you are wanting good specialty coffee drinks on the go, stop by Ost Cafe!

Nice corner coffee shop. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon. The staff was patient with each and every customer. The lattes were delicious!

Locale particolare e affascinante dove si può bere un gustoso caffè ( ( anche macchiato) Location con mattoni a vista e poltrone di velluto, possibilità di bere ottimi vini al bicchiere a prezzi alti ( da 10 a15 $)

We stumbled on this coffee shop and were so glad we did! Our drinks - hot tea for me and a macchiato for my husband - were stellar and the barista was very friendly and knowledgeable. He offered great suggestions for things to do in the area. Easily one of the best coffee shops we visited during our stay in NYC!

Came here for the first time with a good friend and loved it! It's so cozy and inviting, and they have a decent drink selection. And their cinnamon chocolate chip scone is delicious!

Superb atmosphere!!! It's a great place 2 have breakfast or spend few time working in the afternoon: coffee is good, music is charming and ppl there are very kind. Try two sandwiches: "holiday turkey" and "chicken pesto"...they're awesome!!!

Ost is very low key and their coffee is really good. It's such a pleasure to sit down in a quiet place with a great cup of coffee.

Very nice spot with relaxing atmosphere. Excellent Cafe Latte, nice (80's?) music. No nonsense, pure 'Ost is in the air'. Take your iMac, book etc with you.

I am in love with the ambiance of this place. Comfy bench seating where you can sit and read for hours, or perch yourself atop one of the stools lining the perimeter of the large windows and people watch. Even the music is coffee shop perfection...chill indie - just the way I like it. However, the food isn't worth the price. Pastries (such as the croissants) are often stacked up in the display case, meaning the ones on the bottom are smashed. The coffee may be better than Starbucks, but the chai tea lattes come from a carton. I could overlook both of these if the staff was welcoming, but their cold attitudes do not foster the environment of a friendly neighborhood cafe.

Went here for late-night coffee and a warm study space. They also serve wine at night, so we were greeted with laughter and jovial vibes. Would love to go back for the Happy Hour. Cappuccino was rich, deep, and mesmerizing! Not too foamy, not too tasteless. Small candles on each table and a clean, fresh space. I noticed regulars reading the paper by the windows in the morning. Definitely a welcoming, tasty place.

I'm a bit of a caffeine snob ... alright, I'm a bit of an everything snob, but caffeine is the driving force, the enabler and the end-goal, the light of my life. I am liable to judge an area on how much I like their coffee shops, and Ost Cafe was an excellent ambassador. The cafe itself is simple and pretty small, I really liked the art on the walls, the coffee was great and quick, and it helps that the people were all pretty too. A great spot to catch up on gossip, reading, or even people watching down the avenue.

I love the feel of this little East Village café. It's a great spot to meet friends, read a book or get some work done. All with a great cup of coffee in hand!

Really cute coffee shop with super friendly staff. It really hit the spot when I was visiting--ducking in to cuddle up around a delicious warm mocha was lovely! Nice atmosphere and a good amount of seating for such a small place. Yummy cookies too!
