I love this place! My girlfriend and I reserved a table on flamenco night. We practically ordered the whole menu. Everything was delicious! Restaurant is small but who cares when the food is good! From the food, to the drinks, to the entertainment, I loved it. Will go back again and again.

This is one of the best tapas bars in NYC. We have been coming here for years. I love the small plates, the port wine and the atmosphere. Its a great place to spend some time with friends.

Coming back from a trip to Spain left us with craving for tapas, hopped on line looked at few reviews and we were off to Nai for diner 9 of us, 2 sangria pitchers and countless plates later all i can say that the food was good, some plate were very good, sangria was ok, as for the $$$ i would say too little food on this plates for too much money - we ordered the "big" size plates that range from $13 to $26 per and it is still just a tapas little taste ...... came hungry, paid over $400, left with plenty of room for a big "GAY" ice ream around the corner - overall good but overpriced

The food was generally good especially potato and beef based. Seafood was not so good but quite acceptable. As the place got busier service understandably slowed, ordering extra dishes after the first few was a mistake as it spoiled the otherwise good experience. Suggest order all you want at start and go for at least 3 x tapas per person.

Nail is a small and intimate bar and restaurant specializing in tapas. Our party of eight sampled a variety of dishes that were enjoyed by all. Blueberry champagne sangria served by the pitcher paired well with tapas. Dancers and musicians were over the top great! Show was marvelous! The physical space is small that there is not a bad seat in the house. A new favorite!

Not only delicious but the owners (I believe a young couple) are incredibly helpful and offer suggestions which turn out to be delightful. Live music nights are loud- but it is to be expected since the space is small and it is "live". Wonderful and cozy restaurant.

This place is too good to share. The food and service is truly the best Spanish I have eaten in NYC. Nice music in the background. We went on a Sunday afternoon for a post lunch early dinner and every dish was great. The person waiting on us turned out to be a part owner and was so warm and gracious. We will have to go back soon, especially on a Flamenco night. But really, day, night, weekday or weekend it is worth the visit.

As visitors to NYC we chose this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews and weren't disappointed! After a 7 hour flight we went for an early evening slot so didn't see any flamenco but the food and sangria were delicious! We tried patatas bravas, the sea bass, the oxtail, the skirt steak and zucchini with goats cheese. Definitely some of the best tapas I've had outside Spain.

This is a small narrow restaurant with high top tables, a few spots at the bar, and regular tables that could accommodate groups. The decor is attractive. We were treated to live flamenco guitar music and dancers. We could not see the dancers, but we enjoyed the music and sound effects accompanying their dancing. The selection of tapas was large, and our choices were delicious. The wine selection was reasonable and our bottle of Obalo was good. Our waiter, also the host, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We would definitely return!

I have been coming to this place for over 2 years and it NEVER disappoints! The food is excellent, The Red Sangria pitcher is a must and the service is superb. I may have tried everything in the menu and couldn't be able to tell you about something being bad, because everything is so good!

Had a great time here - the tapas are excellent (the only dish I wasn't in love with was the garlic aoli potatoes) but everything else was superb, the $24 Sangria pitchers on Wednesdays is an added benefit, and really what got this rating from me (in addition to the food) was the impeccable service. This alone would have been enough for me to come back again.

This is my favorite place to go for dinner in the city and I have a great experience every time. The best days to go are Thursday and Saturday nights because they have live flamenco, which is amazing. The atmosphere is so cool and lots of fun, especially with the live music. Tapas are moderately priced, but delicious nonetheless. I definitely recommend the chorizo (spicy Spanish sausage) and the caracoles (snails) are the best in the city! For dessert, make sure to order the chocolate-stuffed churros -- they're fantastic! The real highlight is the homemade sangria. They always have several different seasonal recipes and they are all worth trying. Tapas and flamenco are two of my favorite things and Nai is my favorite place to enjoy both! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great! Can't wait to go back!

We wanted to experience a bit of Spain, and thought tapas with Flamenco would be the right mix to do that. And Nai Tapas didn't disappoint us! It was very authentic food, and the dancers and musicians were excellent. We tried several of the Tapas, and also both the red and white mango sangrias (suggest mango sangria for your dessert). Everything was quite tasty. A fun place for something different.

The food and service we're really good and we had a nice time at Nai Tapas! When the're is a lot of people (and it was, because tapas and the restau are that popular) it isn't that easy to talk to eachother.

Great shrimp dish and the flank steak was excellent. The ambience was noisy but great Wall decorations.

I love Nai. I have visited several times and each is more fun than the last. The food and music are exceptional and reminiscent of the Cuevas in Madrid, Spain.

One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly. The sangria is to die for. Come in on Thursday and Saturday night for flamenco performance- it's an amazing experience.

After reading the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to head into Nai Taps bar. We were looking for something light to eat and a varied menu and hoped to find it here. We were sorely disappointed. We chose the Sea Bass. This was fried, truly ruining the delicate texture and flavor of the fish. The other selections that arrived came on pieces of bread. They were also heavy, greasy and frankly, not distinctive or flavorful at all. After 3 tapas, we had enough and thanked our server politely. Perhaps it was just the night we chose to come, but I would not advise a meal at this tapas bar.

Celebrated my birthday at Nai Tapas and had a blast! It was a Saturday night and the flamenco dancing was clearly the highlight of the evening. It really made the experience worthy of five stars. Beware, if its your birthday they will get you up on stage to dance with the dancers! The food was good but not outstanding. They had complimentary desserts for all birthday guests. The reason I am giving a rating of 4 instead of 5 is - we had to wait at least 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. The place is hard to spot from the outside but is packed to capacity on the inside. Friendly staff and electric atmosphere!

I cannot say how awesome the flamenco was. It was absolutely fabulous. Enlivening. Liberating. Vibrant. You gotta see it. The show is, I think, on Saturdays and Thursdays. Check their calendar and better yet, call them. We had a table for two, and during reservation I asked about the best table to watch the dance. Still, I was surprised to be given the table closest to the small wooded board acting as the stage. After we arrived we had to wait for the people currently occupying our table to finish up, but all was forgotten when the show began. There were two female dancers and a guitarist, one dancer in particular very, very good. The show lasted for about an hour and I wished it didn't end. The food was very good. Since it was our first time we asked for recommendation, and all items were delicious. I can't remember the names of the tapas items, but I think we ordered calamari, brussels sprout, shrimp, beef, and something else. I think it was ox tail. There was a hiccup, though. When ordering we specifically mentioned that we wanted to avoid anything pork / bacon / ham. Still there was an item with pork in it as well as another with bacon crumbs on it. The waitress profusely apologized and we let it go. We had paid the bill by that time, but they told us they wouldn't bill us for the dinner as a courtesy. However I am not sure whether that had really happened (the other person used her credit card and I forgot to follow up about the bill). All said and done, I will definitely get back to this place.
