For something really showy (and French), try Laduree's excellent religieuse pastry. The choux is crisp and eggy and the pastry cream inside is not overly sweet.

Enjoyed a late morning tea with my wife and daughter. Laduree is one of my wife's favorite spots in Paris. The tea, macarons, and croissants were delicious. The shop is a bit small but lovely with indoor and outdoor seating. The overall service is good and friendly but our waiter was a bit slow. A lovely experience overall.

It had been a while since I had been to Laduree. I lucked out the day I went; no line! They have a nice selection to choose from. Outside, there were a couple tables for those who wanted to enjoy a sidewalk café experience.

A taste of Paris in New York! I had three macarons: pistachio, salted caramel, and fleur d'orange. Each one was delicious 💗

As a French teacher, I was so excited to see this slice of heaven on my vacation. A tasty treat, I got the sorbet and bien sûr, macarons!!!!

Macaroons are good. Service is not. Plenty of seating but not allowed to sit. Waited 10 minutes for a cup of coffee. Lady taking out her stress on customers is reason enough I would not go back

I went into Laduree on a rainy Monday--the first day of my four-day stay in NYC. I bought macarons for my hubby and daughter and, as an impulse buy, decided to add their lovely flavored marshmallow tot he order. Unfortunately, the marshmallows never made it into the bag, which I did not realize until I got back to my hotel, many blocks away. Before I left town, I was able to get in touch with the manager of the store (Jane) through a telephone call and a nice person at the SoHo store (which was closer to my hotel). She gladly got them for me--and also offered me a macaron for my trouble! I was impressed by the customer-friendliness, overall. I already knew about the product, having sampled some in France and elsewhere around the world.

Laduree is known for its macaroons. The chocolates and other deserts are likewise excellent. Expensive but very high quality.

I know that Ladurée is known for its multi-colored, many-flavored, mouth watering macaroons, but what I go there for, sometimes three times a week, is its refreshing, not-too-sweet, difficult-to-find-in-New York coffee ice cream. I could eat it every day, either plain, or in its delicious café liégeois, which comes topped with caramelized almonds and whipped cream---a treat, not only for the palate but also the eye.

Sweet tooth's heaven.. lovely dessert for days!!! Tiny place to have tea with friends. Parking can be an issue so it is recommended to just walk to this place. My sister loves their rose infused pastry.

From the first time I visited Laduree in Paris 7 or 8 years ago I was in love. And this place never disappoints. They always seem to have something new and amazing to try. The service standard remains high; unfortunately so does the prices. That would be my only complaint this they're on the pricey side so be careful.

My favored little bakery. At times it can get busy but it's a nice place to take in a cup of coffee. Although macarons are too sweet for me but from time to time I crave for it. The Sichuan pepper, yes the province that is famous for spicy cuisine is pretty neat. They don't have bathroom for patrons. Our bill was padded - thank lord my gf checked - they delete the item. It's one of very few eateries in the US that uses handheld credit card device. Not sure it will eliminate the cc theft but maybe a step forward.

This one is a beauty! Knowledgable and kind staff compared to the other dozen Laduree we have tried. Laduree has the best macaron we have ever had! Our youngest took it upon herself to do a global taste test, so she should know! The beautiful packaging, environment, delicate flavor profile, and especially the smiles all around made this a gorgeous experience. 😀 I recommend the brand entirely and without reservation. Yum!

Oh my goodness. These macarons have the best texture and flavor! And I've had a lot of macarons in my life. The passion fruit one was so fabulous. And the salted caramel was very good!

These beautiful little morsels of delight are a little taste of heaven on the upper east side. I went early on a Saturday morning and got a box of 6 for $26. I have tried many of the other macaron places in the city but these are the best. They have a modest yet diverse selection of flavors and each one of them is just the right combination of crunchy and chewy. The lemon coconut and vanilla were my favorite. Definitely worth the visit for a proper French macaron. There is a small seating area and they serve coffee and other sweets. I got mine to go and only go the macarons.

This shop sells the traditional macaron. The variety of flavors is large and each that we purchased was delicious. Try the salted caramel and the rose.

We had tea and macaroons with homemade croissants. Everything we tried was fantastic and better than anything I've tried elsewhere in the same category.

Try the pepper ones, you won't be disappointed. The cafe and chocolate were also good as was the rose.

We saw this from madison avenue. It reminded us of the duchess bakery back in edmonton alberta canada which is top place to eat at for deserts. I have a gluten intolerance so I could not eat there myself but my wife and son enjoyed the macaroons which were really good. This place had some very high end options to choose from. I would have had a coffee and sat down but they have very limited seating up front and when there is 4 of you it makes it even more challenging. Well worth it
