You can get Krembo at 11pm on a Tuesday .... if that doesn't convince you then the amazing imported hummus, pickles, cheeses, frozen foods, cookies, and jams will.

New York City is a place with many one-of-a-kind specialty food and drink stores. Most New Yorkers tend to shop at these stores versus mass market stores. For Israeli food supplies, Holyland Market is the place in the East Village, right near Tompkins Square Park. It has fresh pita and challah baked daily and numerous versions of Israeli hummus. There are Israeli newspapers for sale as well as many Israeli foods not usually found in Manhattan. Peanut butter flavored Bamba is sold here as well! Think Sunrise or Kalustyan's Markets for Israeli food.
