Customers pick icing flavors (chocolate or vanilla) and add up to three flavors of ice cream. Favorite flavors include dulce de leche, red velvet and coffee mud pie. And don’t forget the gummy bear topping.

Their extensive ice cream menu includes homemade favorites such as Java Guatemala made with exotic Guatemalan espresso beans and Belgian dark chocolate and also Dulce De Leche made with caramel and sweet cream.

Even if you DON'T go for the donut, the ice creams are all really fantastic.

Three scoops of ice cream. Sandwiched in a doughnut. With toppings. Perfectly reasonable.

I am a huge ice cream fan and was debating whether to try this for $8 as I thought it might just be a novelty which didn't taste very nice or use good ingredients. I am so glad I tried it. The ice cream by itself was amazing but the donut and toppings were delicious too. 1 million percent recommend. Please open one in London soon!

I had the cake batter and cookie and cream ice cream in the middle of my donut. Please note the donuts are not served warm. I wish the donuts were warm. Think if they were served warm than I would've given them 5 stars. The donuts are soft though. I do think $8 is pricey for a donut and ice cream but I will say they do give you three scoops of ice cream. I am just glad this place is not down the block from me cause if they were I think I would go there every day.

My wife and i were in the Theatre district and had dinner at Blockheads a great Mexicans restaurant and wanted a dessert and LOVE ice cream. Looked up ice cream nearby and Holey Cream came up as a possible place to go. They have a MAKE YOUR OWN DONUT ICE CREAM SANDWICH which was amazing. The shop itself is very tiny but got us in and out pretty quickly and were helpful. They cut a donut in half and then you choose what kind of ice cream you want in it.They let you pick the frosting such as nutella, chocolate, marshmellow, strawberry and the toppings for the donut such as fruit loops, nuts, sprinkles... And then top it off with sauce like butterscotch, Nutella, caramel. For $8 it was a great experience for someone with a sweet tooth like we have. Our choice was (bottom half of the donut) Dulche de Leche ice cream then (top half) with Nutella frosting and rainbow sprinkles and then Caramel on top of that. This was a great find and would go back for sure mostly if near the Gershwin theatre or a short walk from Times Square area.

We had the red velvet ice cream. The small is not really a small. It has 2-3 scoops of ice cream on a cone. It is very tasty for an interesting flavor. My siblings got one of the donuts with praline ice cream and M&M topping. I had a bite. It was a very very sweet combination if you are in to that. It is a unique taste and interesting pairing.

After a day of visiting museums we really wanted a sweet treat, so my husband ordered from Holey Cream using Uber Eats. It was absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be going to try more ice cream soon!

We went here several times for ice cream during our visit to NYC. They offer donut sandwiches, baked goods, shakes and more, but we stuck with the ice cream. They really give you a lot of ice cream for the money. With a small cup, you could get two flavors. Total cost of a small is $5.50. Totally worth the wait in line.

We eat a LOT of ice cream. I don't like to go to the chains, but prefer to support small businesses. This was really good ice cream! I had the Holey Moley, and hubby had Birthday Cake. Sometimes I regret eating it, but this ice cream was worth the calories!

We were walking and found this place. The donut sandwich was rich but worth the calories. They start with a plain donut and then put ice cream in between (think bagel). Dip the top with a sauce then sprinkle. Worth a visit

I would give zero stars if I could. We have this whole incident on video. We went in today to get some ice-cream. There was one employee (TOUEHID is the name). In case, he made up his name, he is of Indian/Bangladeshi/Pakistani origin and wears glasses. Extremely rude guy. He does not even acknowledge us at first. He was on the phone with Uber apparently. We waited patiently for 5 mins. He gets off the phone (because he had the wrong people on the phone!). He then tells us he can't serve us, he does not have time for us and he has to deal with other stuff. He walks away again and says we can't imagine what he is dealing with! Really, we came here for some ice-cream not to give you therapy and not listen to your issues, we all have them. He then rudely asks what we want - no politeness, no what would like to try, just a "what do you want?" Excuse me, we did not come here to be disrespected. We walked out and told him we would come back to speak to the manager. Again, the whole thing is on video. If the owner or manager cares, they can get in touch. All other customers, beware!!!

We got the salted caramel icecream and peanut butter cup cupcake. I would recommend both. Nice small spot in the city.
