If you’re looking to get your morning jolt of caffeine in a unique delivery, their coffee milkshake is right up your alley. And don't forget cash; they don’t take plastic here.

If you're here for weekend brunch and are actually waiting in line for two hours, you need to make better use of your time. Go back to sleep. Revisit on a weekday before work. They open at 8am

The secret to success of the Clinton Street Baking Company's phenomenal popularity as a weekend brunch destination is the fine baking done here.

My wife and went to Clinton Street Bakery on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. The bakery was busy and the atmosphere buzzing but it didn't take long for us to be seated. Even before my wife's bottoms even hit the seats she had spied the pancake stack on the menu! The pancakes, my wife tells me were delicious and I enjoyed the potatoes cakes, smoked salmon and caviar with a Brooklyn beer. We had been looking forward to real American pancakes and these did not disappoint (thinking about them now is making my mouth water). Make it a brunch stop, you won't be disappointed!

I went here because of a recommendation of a friend. I have no regrets! We got the blueberry pancake special and a chicken sandwich. A treat to my tastebuds. Yes the wait was long but worth every bit is the wait. The food was great and fresh and the staff were very attentive.

Get the pancakes. They're one of the 50 best things to eat in NYC for a reason. I've had all 3 types (blueberry, banana nut and chocolate chip) and they're all great. Parking is awful. Everyone I take here says they're the best pancakes they've ever eaten.

A lovely place to have breakfast in the east village. We visited during a week day and were immediately seated. I had Clinton St. omelette with added cheddar cheese and caramelized onions, absolutely wonderful. We shared a blueberry pancake, their signature, and we were not disappointed, amazing ! Staff are attentive, service is fast and prices are reasonable. Highly highly recommended !

Read about the long queues. Wanted to avoid. Went on a Tuesday late morning. No wait, thankfully. Had some wonderfully tasty pancakes - so yummy! Would definitely go back again for that. BUT wouldn't go and wait for hours on a weekend.

One word.. pancakes!! I ate here 3 tines during a 10 day visit to New York.. having pancakes each time. Often you'll have a wait for a table but it's well worth it, fab menu - everything looks amazing

We stumbled across this place and had to wait a few minutes for a table, but it was entirely worth it! The sugar bacon, Spanish scramble, and chicken and waffles all went down really well and the service was great too. A must-visit!

Stumbled upon this place when searching for a closest restaurant near Pier 36, before we took our water tour of the Statue of Liberty. The lines were long but used the NoWait app to check in (highly recommend). The eggs benedict with smoked salmon was super delicious. My daughter's chicken and waffle was amazing. The serving was good enough for two or three people. The potato grits was okay and probably wouldn't order again if in town. We should have tried the pancakes though. Overall, a must go to place when in the area!

When I used to visit this place, it was tiny with an entrance on Clinton Street that was easily overlooked. I made a point of arriving before they opened at 8, in order to be assured of a good seat, or any seat at all if I'd waited until 8:30 or later. Last Fall, (2016), I was pleasantly surprised to see they had expanded to include the corner space next door on Houston. It still fills up fast, though. Anyway, other than the additional big, bright new space, little else has changed. I really need to expand my horizons and try more of their menu but, my standard breakfast order is the amazing blueberry pancakes with warm maple butter, thick cut bacon, coffee and orange juice. The 'cakes are so great, you could easily eat them without any syrup but, you owe it to yourself to at least try the warm maple butter provided. It's not your standard syrup by any means. The sugar cured bacon is thick cut and perfectly cooked. The orange juice is honestly fresh squeezed. I certainly couldn't afford to eat here very regularly but, as a tourist, I enjoy the splurge very much. Cash only.

Amazing pancakes, very fluffy. We loved the fried chicken and waffles. All of their ingredients are fresh and organic when possible and locally sourced when possible, and you can taste the difference.

We just had to try somewhere for pancakes while we were in NY. I follow this place on Instagram and have spent months drooling over the pictures! We're glad we made the trip. It's kind of out of the way of the bigger tourist spots, so when we visited at 9am on a weekday morning we were seated straight away. Tables are a bit crammed in, which I suppose can be said for most places in NY. I had choc chip pancakes, my boyfriend had blueberry ones. Oh my God! They were so big and fluffy and came with delicious maple butter on the side. I couldn't manage all of mine! Service was OK, not particularly friendly but quick and good enough. I'd happily go back.

Service is horrible. Staff is very unpleasant. Our meals were all cold and mediocre at best. Have no idea what the fuss is about. Cost us a $30 rountrip uber ride to get there which was so not worth it. They also don't have a kids menu so children's pancakes are the same price/same portion as adults. So not worth it.

Forty minutes wait for a table but well worth it. Exceptional breakfast, efficient service. Good range on menu. Not rushed despite how busy they were. Would love to revisit and sample pancakes they looked delicious.

We waited 40min for a table (reservations aren't possible). After we sat we waited for our meal for another 40min and impressions? Overrated and average place that has high rating for no reason

I ate here on my last day in New York and it was but really busy. My friend, thankfully, knew someone who worked there who was able to get us a table within twenty minutes rather than waiting for over an hour. This brunch spot is a decent size but feels small due to a number of people standing outside waiting. We got mimosas and I ordered the Salmon Scramble which was delicious and cooked perfectly. The bread was nothing fancy and the salad on the side had a nice tangy vinegarette drizzled on it. Portion size is average. It was quite loud so if you are looking for a quiet brunch spot, this isn't for you. If you have more than two people in your party, your wait will be longer because they don't have that many larger tables.

I recently had brunch at CSBC and ordered the brioche French toast with a side of double smoked bacon. I absolutely enjoyed both. The caramelized banana and roasted pecan topping with a drizzle of maple butter was the perfect accompaniment for the French toast. It was not overly sweet nor soggy. The portion was huge and the price reasonable. I went on a weekday and the wait was about 15 mins. On weekends, it's much longer.

This was my second visit here, the first time was nearly 5 years ago and when I visited NY again I had to get my pancake fix again! The pancakes are amazing, and the brioche french toast maybe even more so. Absolutely delicious. Beware though, the portions are huge and we felt in retrospect that we should rather have shared a plate than order one each!

A souther style brunch place! The one hour wait was worth every minute. The food is delicious!!! We had the salmon Benedict with biscuit instead of the traditional English muffin. Please try the Bloody Mary!!! The best I ever had in my life! Little spicy but It is awesome!!! You will like this place.

Their house-made hot sauce is a can't-miss! Had the Farmer's Plate breakfast and it was superb. Be prepared for a short wait to be seated.

I have tried to come to this restaurant many times before but the line has always been too long to wait. But finally we got to try Clinton St Baking Company for breakfast. It was pretty good. I'm not sure I would an hour or more to have it but it was still good breakfast We had French toast, pancakes, and farmers breakfast. Rosemary sausage on the farmers breakfast was really great. Pancakes and French toast cakes with their special syrup and it was amazing. Not too sweet but made the pancakes melt in your mouth The place is cash only which we were told numerous times when we put our name on the waiting list. This place isn't GF but the farmers breakfast was a good option since I just didn't need to get toast.
