"The pie people at Bubby’s recently launched a happy hour deal that’s a nod to the five and dime stores where everything was 5 or 10 cents. From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, all drinks cost just $5.10. Currently, drink options include a punch made with lemon, spice, sparkling wine, and your choice of spirit; various wines by the glass; and a 50/50 Martini (even split vodka and vermouth). Plus: $5.10 food options include a pulled pork sandwich, a burger, and jerk chicken." - EATER

Timberlake and Biel had brunch at TriBeCa favorite, Bubby's. The brunch institution is a low-key celebrity favorite because of its classic comfort food.

The apple pie here ($8 a slice) is a rendition of the classic pie. The apples, chosen from nearby farmers markets, are sautéed first in butter. The crust remains graceful and structured even after the baking.

Well-prepared American comfort food. I went there for lunch so have no opinion on their highly-rated breakfast (although some breakfast items are available all day). The blueberry pie was outstanding, not too sweet, just the way I like it.

While staying in Manhattan, we discovered this neighborhood restaurant/bistro on a Saturday morning. The fresh food was so good we returned every morning after, for a total of 3 breakfasts in a row. Our only regret is that we didn't get to eat lunch or dinner there, or enjoy their cocktails. Pancakes and biscuits awesome, eggs Benedict wonderful. Local sourced ingredients and condiments were good too.

We spent our first morning in NYC at Bubby's. Delicious food, great vibe and attentive staff. The turkey BLT was so delicious! The vintage photo booth was also fun!

This is an old classic street corner restaurant with a big brunch reputation. We had dinner there. It had a classic menu. I had deviled eggs, meatloaf and banana cream pie. We were seated in the bar area which seemed much quieter than the maoin restaurant. the service was attentive and the food was tasty. If you are not loking for a fancy place but good American food, this is the place in Tribeca..

Loved this, such a wide choice and no queue, but we might have timed it well (10am on a Sunday) Whilst family went for pancakes and french toast, I picked the homemade granola with a mimosa thrown in. Amazing

I was really impressed with the breakfast here. People have talked about the pancakes here so I was curious to try. They are seriously the fluffiest pancakes in the world! and pretty tasty too. My girlfriend also had some omelette that she enjoyed quite a bit. There was also a Mimosa tasting flight available that was great to try. will return again and again

I had dinner with a friend and we are at the bar. We had excellent drinks from a very friendly and efficient bar tender named Hannah. We had reservations and decided to eat at the bar. The fried calamari was a great starter. It was crispy and fired in very clean oil. I loved the fried chicken. It is served with two sides and some very excellent BBQ sauces. I had onion rings and mac am cheese. The portions are ample but not oversized so I left satisfied but not stuffed. Save room for the cherry pie it is excellent. I absolutely loved this place.

This place is incredible. I recommend the Banana pancakes. I am a big pancake fan and have to admit that this is probably the best pancake I have had. Great atmosphere. Also, shout out to our waitress Victoria who helped us with the menu and how to get around the city.

Bubby's has a diverse menu to meet everyone's likes. We were there early 9 am and it was getting crowded. It 's a popular place in Tribeca. The food was delicious, generous portions. Wish we had room for pie, which is their specialty.

We came to Bubby's after my 2 y. o. got her haircut up the block. I had placed my name down and when we came back to eat we got seated right away. The dining room was obviously packed and the noise level was loud with music and the millennials were talking above that... Food was good and didn't have to wait that long. We miss the one that was in DUMBO, but if closed after the hurricane.

There were a few things I loved about our dining experience at Bubby's and a few things I didn't care for. First the items I did love - we ordered a Blueberry and Avocado Salad which was simply irresistible. My gf wanted more after she finished which is unusual for her. Also her mojito was very nice and was a favorite of both of ours. Likewise my accompanying coleslaw to my main was equally delicious and I could have used another serving. However, my ribs were not what I was looking for. I found them bland and too tender for my taste. Also, my margarita wasn't very tasty either. It tasted too mediciny for my taste. Also, the restaurant itself was way too loud, you could barely hear yourself think. There were many families in the room and the loud just echoed off the walls and into your ear drum. Overall, this was a mixed dining experience for us. Although I am intrigued with all the positive reviews about the breakfast and would consider returning to try a morning meal here.

Ate a Bubby's with work colleagues while in town. Lots of choice if you're a meat eater, if you're a vegetarian or vegan this is not the place for you. They cook the veggie burgers right along side the meat burgers on the grill and when asked wouldn't accommodate my request to cook the veggie burger in a frypan. I needed up having a rather bland salad, but my colleagues enjoyed their burger & prime rib meals. The wine list is very small, not great and the white wine was served at room temperature. Wait staff were friendly,

Our breakfast at Bubby's I shall never forget. It was expensive, but the servings are big and we could easily have shared. I know that for our next New York visit, because I am going to taste that again. Friendly staff also!

Walked in solo for lunch. Plenty of tables but hostess tried to sit me in a dark corner in back. Changed seats. Came in for the meatloaf on the menu outside, not available. Not that. Usually but took 10 minutes for a waitperson to come over. Another 5 to get iced tea, no straw,. After 10 more minutes finally. burger arrived. Good burger and fries Nothing special.

Went there for BF ..to be honest I consider it one of the best in New York . So cozy and nice ....I had the granolas and scrambled egg also had some poached eggs all was amazing. But the must try is the pie cake which they are famous about ..I tried the peanut butter Nutella one ..and I wasn't disappointed at all ..also try the banana Walnut pancakes it's a must too.highly recommended.

I love this place for being always the same. It is not to much fancy as it offers a traditional breakfast menu with few tasty options, a real care to ingredients and a very good service. A nice treat for European willing to enjoy an American breakfast. I also like their main room with natural light coming from the big windows which is not something so usual in New York where I find places are always too dark.
