I had the "Smoked Chicken Wings with Alabama White Sause" which was excellent and the Baby Back Ribs with the Mac & Cheese and Collard Green sides. The Back Back Ribs were ok, I wanted to get the Spare Ribs but they were out. The Mac & Cheese was excellent but the Collard Greens was not really any good. I went on a Saturday and it was obviously a quite popular dating spot. A lot of couples when I dined around 8pm. Since I came alone I got a nice table by the window which I thought was very considerate. Service and beer was very good. Would definitely go back!

We found Blue Smoke after visiting the One World Observatory, and whilst we originally stopped in for a snack ended up staying for dinner after being tempted by the extensive menu. The service was excellent and our waitress provided some excellent suggestions. We ordered a range of items to share, all of which were delicious - the ribs, pulled pork and cornbread madelines were the highlights.

Who would expect to find great Bar-B-Q in NYC? Well it is here. The Chef at Blue Smoke was from Louisiana and it shows. The Baby Back Ribs are amazing. So tender and delicious. The staff is great. They are pleasant and helpful. This is a must stop in Manhattan.

Brisket was good but not memorable. Lunch was over $20 without a drink. Service was great. Many other better options nearby.

Went here after a 2 year gap as I had a great time here for my last night meal. Booked via OpenTable a week before we went across to the USA and I was looking forward to an end-of-holiday treat. But it was extremely busy and we got seated right in the middle of the restaurant, and although we asked if we could get a booth or a window-side seat, it was a case of "we are fully booked tonight.....sorry sir...would you like the wine list"......it didn't help probably that there was a torrential rainstorm that I got caught in on my walk down from Tribeca and I was in a pretty foul mood as it was!! Portion sizes are excessive - I know it's America and that's what happens, but I ordered the chicken wings as a starter, and there were way too many - they could have done three people, so the problem was I was half full even before we got to the main course. For this it was the grilled chicken and I pretty much got that. A whole (albeit small) chicken. Plus potatoes and veg - way too much. The service was rather impersonal owing to the fact the place was packed. The guy that was dealing with our table was friendly enough, and he DID, to his credit offer me a doggy bag for all my uneaten food (which was handy as I had a long drive down to Pennsylvania ahead of me the next day, so it made good travelling food!) But I paid up and left feeling rather flat and underwhelmed (not to mention bloated!). The overall quality of the food was good, but nothing earth shattering I could have bought in a diner a few blocks up Greenwich Street. Maybe the mistake I made was going on a Saturday night (last time around it was a Sunday), but I went to my other favourite restaurant in the area the night before (Distilled NY) and they coped perfectly well with a busy service. Given this restaurant is in such a prime spot in the city given it is next to the WTC they really ought to do better. So I'm afraid it was very average this time around.

Don't miss out on the corn bread Madeline for an appetizer. the pimento appetizer was great also. All the ribs were delicious. The fried oysters were a seasonal option and a favorite at the table. The banana fosters desert was fabulous.

Had lunch here while staying in the area. It was full around 2pm so we opted to eat at the bar. Good decision. The bartender was very friendly and was able to make me a spicy margarita perfectly. I had the avacado and shrimp on toast which was very good but they hit it out of the park with the burnt ends and grits. We have been to their other locations and when Danny Meyer is involved you're pretty much guaranteed a good experience.

More a New York style BBQ, not a southern style. But still delicious. Try the bacon. They got a good bar, blue smoke ale is good with most the meats. Just a little expensive for BBQ.

This was a highly recommended restaurant and I was very disappointed with the food and the service. My brisket was dry and too spicy. The fried chicken lacked flavor. Our waiter was very friendly but our table was cleared before I finished eating. This happened twice. They didn't even ask if we were done, they just took it away. My final complaint is I felt I was being pushed out the door. Drinks, appetizers, meal and coffee were all served to us in 45 minutes. We wanted to enjoy our meal and time over dinner. I did not. There were a few bright spots. The Madeleine's on the snack menu and mac and cheese as a side were great.

I've eaten barbeque all over the US including Memphis and have to say I didn't think the food matched the hype about the location. The food was good but not memorable by any stretch of the imagination. I've had barbeque in Memphis that I remember to this day. I do recommend the smoked wings in the Alabama white sauce which were unique and very tasty. Service is friendly and responsive - just set your expectations appropriately if you go here.

This is not a fancy place but you get close to an authentic Southern American food is a nice ambiance and good service. Worth a try for a casual night out.

The food was just perfect. Good atmosphere. Good drinks. Good service. Expensive. Must be one of the best up-scale grill restaurants in NYC

I was taken out for my birthday here this past Saturday. As soon as I came in the hostess was nothing but smiles and very nice and approachable. We were about a half an hour early for our reservation, but they sat us anyway. The night got even better, our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was extremely friendly. The food was amazing! Best BBQ food I've ever had. From the staff to the food I give it 100% highly recommended.

Came here with some friends who live locally. They had sold out of beef ribs, which is what I was really hoping for. That being said, there was plenty of choice. It was all nice, but none of it spectacular. The beer choice was pretty good. 3* is maybe a bit harsh, but 4* needs to be for a meal you remember fondly rather than just something to eat.

We were looking forward to some good BBQ but were disappointed with the average ribs, no cole slaw and the beans tasted like vinegar. The shrimp étouffée was excellent.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor as we were staying at the Conrad Hotel and was literally on our door step. We wanted some decent food as just come off a cruise ship after 11 days. We went to this restaurant and took a seat at the bar. What stuck us was the ambiance in the restaurant and how friendly the entire bar staff were. We were given some samples of craft beer to try and then ordered larger glasses of the ones we preferred. For our mains we had the rack of ribs and pulled pork and both were delicious. The portions were large and came with Mac and Cheese, beans and garlic bread. We both managed to share a desert which again was delicious. The staff, especially the staff member who was working behind the bar, worked very hard in a busy environment but always friendly and attentive. Time flew by and we ended up spending several hours in there easily.

Came the week leading into Christmas so the restaurant was busy, but the service and attention provided was really good. The ribs and food were delicious. The kids loved the idea of making there own cookies. Great lunch, thank you

I have been a few times her over the year, and usually enjoy it immensely. This time was no exception, and their menu had changed again. We started with some of their deviled eggs, although how you serve 3 halves to a table of two is a bit odd they are delicious though, with a hint of spice just nice. The "crackling" sharing side was delicious, but is quite fatty (as it should be), so not good for dieters. The burger was not to be seen on the menu for some reason, but was available, and up to its usual good standard. I tried an item new to me, the crispy pork, which was very very good. The drink menu is changed up frequently, and offers a good choice of beers, as well as interesting and well thought out cocktail options.

I have not really liked the food they served, it's very American style and a bit too fat for me. Also the price was not so convenient
