This warm day we stopped here for the nice and fresh Merriwheather lemonade. And a coffee and croissant. All very good.

pointed here by the staff of soul cycle, we had a great experience. Food was delicious and was fantastic and we loved the community atmosphere. .A million times better than what we had they day before in central NY...If I'm ever back in NYC I'll be back here!

I recently moved to New York from Australia and this coffee shop is around the corner from my apartment. I stumbled across it when I was exploring my new neighbourhood (as you do!) and I have been back almost everyday since. First and foremost, the coffee is perfect (probably has a lot to do with its Australian owner, Pete) - the much needed caffeine boost before heading into the office! And the food is great too: healthy, flavourful, substantial without being a ridiculous amount of food and it comes out pretty quick (depending on how busy they are). I'm sorry old mate Dimitri (below) didnt have a great experience but I've eaten here more than a dozen times and every time the food has been awesome for me. Seriously, for anyone wanting that 'perfect' coffee shop experience, swing by merriweather (as a pitstop while exploring through the beautiful West Village streets). Great vibe, cool people, delicious food and, most importantly, the best coffee in the city!

We stopped in for tea and espresso. I tried a new green tea that was a bit unusual but fit the servers description. My son said his espresso was excellent. It's a small space but they fit a lot of tables in this cozy space.
