Speedy Romeo. Some of the most delicious food in Fort Greene/Clinton hill. Wood Fired Pizza plus a full menu. Don't miss the St. Louie! One of the best pizzas I have ever had. They also deliver.

One of Brooklyn's preeminent pizza spots (and trust us, there's plenty of competition), Speedy Romeo received a lot of initial buzz when chef and owner Justin Bazdarich invited a group of big-name New York City chefs to design customized pies.

Speedy Romeo specializes in St. Louis-style pizza, but it’s everything else that they cook in that wood-burning oven that keeps us coming back.

We were staying in Brooklyn with family and this is one of their locals. It's busy and got a nice, buzzy atmosphere although the lighting is a bit dim - not great when you're trying to read a menu. Good selection of large, thin crust pizzas and beers. Service was very good: the table next door accidently knocked our beer over us (!) and the waitress was great at quickly mopping up and making amends. Good price. Recommend strongly and would go back.

Staying in Brooklyn we booked a table for our family of four and were not dissappointed. Efficient staff , we ordered three pizzas and a salad as we thought that would be enough and it definitely was. Their pizzas are original and very good, although at $22 a pizza I found it a little expensive (perhaps this is normal for NY) the goats cheese and baby leaf salad was very good also, as was the Rose we chose. We didnt order dessert as we were tired after a days walking . I would recommend this restaurant.

Incredible pizza. Worth the trip from NYC. Impeccable ingredients. Crust to die for. Thanks Food Network for the idea.

I returned to stayed with friends in the neighborhood and actually went to this little spot twice! On my first evening in town, I went to dinner with my friend, we shared the Caesar Salad, Kind Brother Pizza (bechamel, wild mushrooms and herbs), and the grilled Octopus Salad as an appetizer, each one was more flaverful than the last. Then I took my son for lunch on my last afternoon, we shared the Caesar Salad again, the Baked Eggs w/ mushrooms and their pizza with homemade meatballs. The food is amazing and I will go back for sure!

This place is way above average. Burger is a must have, super fresh and juicy. Pizzas out of wood burning oven also a treat. Very laid back friendly vibe, inviting to all. Have been back three times this summer alone!

We came in for dinner on a recommendation from the staff at Blanca - obviously, a very different type of restaurant to Blanca, but still very good at what they do. The vibe, the decoration and the staff are hard to fault, though the pizzas are the standouts! Would definitely go back!

Had an incredible dinner with my family ...can't say enough about the pizza...it was excellent! We tried three and each was fantastic. The Cesar Salad was equally as delicious but the Artichokes were over the top!!! I will dream about them until I can visit again. The vibe was great! We all left very happy and satisfied!

Easy and quick place to take young kids; we especially like to go during early dinner before the grownup show arrive. Speedy Romeo serves dinner quickly during earlier hours and the pizza is excellent.

My family of four dined at Speedy Romeo and enjoyed our time there. Service was attentive, and a minor mistake was addressed quickly. Food was quite good - particularly the pizza - and happy hour pricing on drinks was a nice touch. The setting is nice, too.

I am pretty hard on pizza and found this place to be a just-right neighborhood place. Great location if you are staying near Pratt. The Caesar salad was wonderful: crisp and a little hot (from the garlic in the freshly made dressing). Also the olive oil cake was excellent. Pizza margharita was also quite good. I don't think you can go wrong for these prices.

Hit up this spot for a friend's birthday with a group of 6. Had drinks at the bar while waiting for a table- good service. We were there at 7pm and it was super dark inside, so beware that mood lighting... it's like eating by candle light only. Ordered an app and a few pizzas for the table. Overall it was tasty and enjoyable. No complaints on the service or quality.

This was my go to pizza place while living in Clinton Hill. Great thick crust pizza. Good beers. It gets crowded.

Recommended to use and really happy we tried it. We had the PAUL’S BOUTIQUE pizza, made with Katz pastrami which was the best pizza of our vacation. What can be better than bizza and beer!! Although small, it has a great atmosphere. We ate at the one on the lower East side. Will return on our next trip to NYC.

I went there expecting amazing food. It was not bad but definitely not worth all the fuss. The pizza crust was mushy and the toppings were average. It may have been bad luck so I will give it another try in the future.

A favorite spot for a local beer and the best pizza in the Clinton Hill/Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Try the Dick Dale for an alternate take on the ham and pineapple pizza or the St Louie for a spicy sausage pizza to rival the best.

Nice selection of drinks and a wide variety of pizzas and other options to meet the needs of your entire party. We had a delicious meal of the Ceasar salad and pizzas. Each one was top notch. Bar stools were not very comfortable to sit but the service and the higher tables were nice.

I became aware of Speedy Romeo when the owner still had a very popular booth at the very popular Brooklyn Flea. Speedy Romeo's pies are creative and yummy. We usually order a caesar salad and one pie to share, though two pies would work if you're very hungry. Hip Brooklyn atmosphere and warm and attentive service. We try to go early because it's gotten so popular. Our favorite pies: the Saint Louie and the Dangerfield.

Celebrated with family and enjoyed everything. Pizzas were better than good. Pepper apatizer was spicy and delicious. Beers were cold and service did not forget us even though they were very busy.

This fun little spot was just a block away from the airbnb apartment where we were staying. Our hosts mentioned their good food a number of times. Had a girlfriend meet us here for an easy dinner. Everything with exception to salads is done in their wood-burning oven. We shared a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and The Dangerfield Pizza (home-made Veal & Pork Meatballs)

We found this place mentioned in several magazines and decided to give it a try. It was worth the walk. Appetizer was super-good. Pizza was creative and sublime. Wine selection also good. The service we received was above-par. I would definitely recommend and return.
