This little diner is like a time portal to the 50s: pink and turquoise uniforms on all servers, diner stools, fresh coffee, and unforgettable donuts. Get a whole wheat donut, and get a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant for a great on-the-go breakfast!

Doughnuts - There are plenty of worthy competitors if you want to argue about who makes the best doughnuts in New York, but there will only ever be one Peter Pan.

This cake-like treat is surprisingly light, given the additional dairy, but the sour note adds depth and complexity and a little bit of character. And it's glazed, guaranteeing that you'll still get a sugar high. Why else would people eat sweets?

Patrons crowd around the counter on stools eating classic cake donuts, glazed donuts, or egg and cheese sandwiches.

Beloved Greenpoint stronghold, Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop, still serves old fashioned donuts at a vintage style lunch counter. Servers wear ’50s era green and pink uniforms too.

Donuts cost $1.10 and beloved flavors include white cream coconut, cream chocolate sprinkle, and red velvet crumb. Their menu also incorporates seasonal variations.

If you haven't been to Peter Pan Donut yet, you've really been missing out on these $1 pieces of heaven. When celebrating National Doughnut Day here, the red velvet doughnut glazed with sour cream is a must-try!

I came for a white cream eclair, and I was disappointed. The cream filling had no flavor, just fluff. Honey dipped donut was okay. This place was packed, though, so people must love it. Lots of people were getting breakfast sandwiches. There is a takeout line, or you can wait for a seat at the counter. It's a small place with a little over a dozen seats.

Oh my. Super delicious donuts. Went on a Sunday morning and waited about 5 minutes in a long but fast moving line before ordering some donuts to go. There is also counter seating if you want to eat in. I ordered about a dozen various donuts and most of them were very good. I could make this place a habit. Prices were very reasonable.

If you like donuts, this is a must go place. There are so many options there that you need to go back many times, so you can try them all. One tip is to buy some and split, so you can have few bites of each and try as much as possible.

This is a tiny doughnut shop and it's well worth the train ride over. All the doughnuts are delicious here. I bought a half dozen and my friend bought a half dozen. We ate two with a hot cup of coffee...I could have eaten my whole box of goodies. Doughnuts are reasonably priced and it's CASH only.

Bring some time for the queue. Once you mastered it, you can choose from many delicious 🍩 creations. We had breakfast there - the bagels are awesome! Best bagels I had in new York!

What a great place! It felt like stepping back in time and reminded me of a bakery from the small town I grew up in. The to-go line was long, but don't let that scare you away, it moved really fast. I sat at the counter and had a egg and cheese bagel... It had everything! Hot eggs, chewy, fluffy bagel, gooey cheese. Perfection! I also took a couple doughnuts to go, because you know, vacation! They were great. Nothing fancy and not trying too hard. They were just good well-made classic yummy doughnuts. 10/10 it's a must if you're in Greenpoint! Oh yeah, and don't forget cash!! It's CASH ONLY (I'm a dum-dum and didn't have cash, but they were kind enough to let me run to the ATM next door!)

A nice little place, with the possibility of seating and enjoying American coffee (no espresso) and chocolate and taste some very appealing bagel and breakfast sandwiches. We just order to go from the huge selection of baked delicacies and we found what appeared the favourite of the day (Bavarian cream donut) way too sweet while the muffins (in particular thee corn and the carrot ones, over the blueberry) to be excellent. Service geared more toward speed than friendliness.

Forget the cronuts, green tea frosting, dulce de leche fillings and double skinny mocha and enjoy a real, old-school donut at an old-school linoleum counter where you can still get a real egg cream and an egg sandwich with a cup of drip coffee. This place is real, owned by and filled with real people, not a market-driven contrivance. It's refreshing.

Great fresh well priced donuts, worth the wait if you're in the area. Has the feel of a place that time has passed by. There are better donuts in NYC.

Classic counter based donut and coffee shop on busy section in williamsburg. Friendly enough but mostly effiicient counter service for maybe 20 seats. Lines can get long for the awesome classic style donuts with just enough crust. Sour cream was a winner, and chocolate cake--well, I could have kept eating. I felt a little jealous of the real smart orders--bagels with lox, looked like a deal at 7:50.

Old fashioned, and an institution all by itself, Peter Pan is a superlative place to load up on donuts. The family loved it so much we went back the next day. (Almost missed the flight home as a result, but that's another story.)

Wow.. so much sugar overload, however the donuts are really good. This is the place in the area for donuts and is constantly busy, even with the stereotypical cops coming in for donuts. Some of it is a bit overwhelming and everyone that is local seem to know exactly what they want. It takes some time to decide, so don't step up to the counter until you are ready. There is some counter space to sit and have some stuff in store but it's not all that big and finding more then a few open stools together might be difficult. Totally worth a trip if you are in the area.

Whenever I visit my kids, I make a stop here. The French crullers are to die for! The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is so yummy. Great old/fashioned diner feel with twirling stools. You may stand in line on weekends, but so worth it(the line goes fast).
