    Heard they'd possibly be closing up soon, so I figured it was time to finally make the trip over to Bushwick. Ron, Ben, and I all had the burger; worth every ounce of hype bestowed upon it. Ron even asked the chef for grilling tips. Don't miss the beer-battered broccoli. It's a nice surprise for an appetizer.

    I think what’s neat about it is that it brings a few things together that everybody likes … All of those [ingredients] are somewhat accessible but are presented in a way that I think most people aren’t used to seeing.

    Its a new spot in the neighborhood. Decent food, decent waitstaff, and a small cozy little restaurant.

    Decent enough burger place with lots of unusual beers but a bit too crowded for my tastes. The limited menu make this a place for those happy with a few beers and something's to eat to stay sober. Good if you are in the area but parking a bit difficult and a bit of a walk from public transportation.

    Went with my girlfriend to brunch there today. We've been there a few times before and the food is always good and different. The service today was especially friendly and attentive and the garden was open even though we sat inside. The fried battered broccoli appetizer with spicy sweet and sour sauce was a fine starter for two excellent meals.

    We went to Fritzl's Lunch Box together with a friend who lives in the area. The burger was recommended, and it was amazing! A simple burger, but made with very tender and well tasting meat. Simple and small restaurant, but with a nice atmosphere. Nice and friendly staff. Good value for money!

    This tiny little restaurant ( I understand there is a back patio - brr right now) is a true gem. Six of us ate and basically ran the menu -- all tastes and needs met, from vegetarian to carnivore. Dinner included an amazing lamb dish, an appetizer of prosciutto jam (yes jam!) that was to die for and more good food than I have characters to list. Impeccable service just added to the grand evening. When in Brooklyn, this is a must try.

    If you ask me, Fritzl's has the best burger in Bushwick, and is among the best in NYC. Every time I go, I can't help but order it! Quality meat topped with a delectable relish and special sauce in between a lightly toasted sesame seed bun, all for $9. Apps like the salsa brined chicken wings and beer battered cauliflower are equally amazing. They also make a delicious iced coffee that uses brown sugar syrup mixed with cold brew and some other ingredient that slips my mind but tastes freaking fantastic. Anyway, check this place out and get the burger. You won't regret it.

    Eating on the outside patio at Fritzl's on a beautiful afternoon in July was a great experience. The burger was, hands down, one of the best burgers we've ever had. Don't know what the chef does to make it so delicious, but he shouldn't change anything. The chicken wings were okay; we have our own favorite recipe we make at home and it's hard to beat. We thoroughly enjoyed the ricotta dumplings and fried chicken sandwich was nicely prepared and flavorful, but neither were as tasty as the burger. The beer selection was interesting as well and we managed to find several to accompany our meal. If you go to Fritzl's - go outside, have a burger and a beer and plan on nothing else for the rest of the afternoon; you'll just want to savor that lunch for a while. (The outdoor patio could use the deft hand of an experienced gardener.)

    Fritzl's provided my friends and I with a great weekend brunch experience. The interior is cramped, but walk through the kitchen and you'll emerge in a spacious and relaxing garden patio, that is perfect for relaxation. While the food isn't cheap, it is excellent, and the drink selection is unique. The New Orleans Iced Coffee, and "morning beer" (kombucha + Founders' All Day IPA) make a trip worthwhile in and of themselves.

    Not exactly next door, coming from Manhattan but a very good restaurant, worth the trip. A small nice cheery place with an back yard garden in summer. The menu is season oriented, with very good and well priced appetizers and a small choice of main courses. There is a limited choice of desserts available. Chef Dan, after having worked at some of the top NY restaurants is in his element at this place. I found the best choice was to let him choose and prepare a selection of appetizers before selecting a main course. The only thing missing is some bread or chips while sipping wine, beer or hard cider.
