This little pizzeria is an A-town staple. Personal pizzas and beer--you can't go wrong.

Always great service and delicious pizza! Even the salads are so good I always grab one to go! My favorite is the Bianca with extra garlic and green chili.... cheese

The food choices are varied and tasty! The service is always outstanding! Prices are good, drink choices are varied and the staff are friendly and quick. Parking is excellent and the restaurant is always clean.

Visited after an afternoon hike so we had a good appetite. We all ordered the pizza and Il Vicino Salad, always a win when you substitute the romaine for spinach and extra chicken is a must.

I went here with my daughter and grandkids ages 5 and 6 for lunch. We were a little apprehensive about taking the kids into a sit-down restaurant. They don't eat out much. But the patio area is covered and plenty warm enough. And they brought each of the kids a small dough ball on a plate with some flour under the dough. That entertained them until the food came. The six year old ate nearly a whole pizza by himself. I had the mushroom and onion pizza with truffle oil--delicious! My daughter ordered one with artichoke hearts, chicken and mushrooms with a sweet sauce and it was also very good. We each enjoyed a beer on tap. (Not the kids!) Yum. Everything was great!

Enjoyed a late lunch of a spinach salad and a panini with 2 ice cold Slow Down Brown beers. Great service and comfortable atmosphere. We usually try to eat out on the patio but this day was too cold so stayed inside where it was nice and cozy.

New menu for 2017 Il Vicino has added at least a dozen new items to their menu. Gluten free items are available. You place your order at the entrance to the restaurant. The wait staff will bring your drinks and food to your table. The restaurant was full, service was very good and the food was served promptly. EXCELLENT FOOD! 🍕 🥗 🍝🍷🍺 Wait staff is very good and the entire dinner experience was excellent.

This is a reasonably priced pizza restaurant with great beer, pizza and salads! The wood fired crust is great, and all ingredients are fresh. Good service, too!

Pizza, Salad and Lasagna are really good here. Wood Fired but a little non-traditional Italian. Definitely will go back.

Great pizza made in a real wood oven. Crust came our puffy and crispy. Sauce was delicious. We got a salad to go along with out pizza and it was also good; fresh and clean greens. Surprisingly good little shop.

I love Il Vicino's! They have some of the best wood fired pizza in town! I can also recommend (highly) the spinach salad--the salad and the dressing they use are delicious! The price is reasonable and the place always looks clean. Service is consistently very good also!

I have tried Il Vicino a couple of times because I know it is popular, but I just am not a fan. I love pizza, and especially like brick oven pizza, but this is not crispy crust, tends to be more doughy and just not flavorful.

Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Reasonably priced. Visited on a weekday evening, and though the place was crowded we were seated just after ordering and food came to table (of 5) pretty quickly. I really liked the Fino pizza I ordered, but the lasagna and calzone that others in my group ordered looked good too. Will be back!

Nothing supper fancy about the place but they have great pizzas, decent pasta and salads. Wine list is only a few bottles but nothing is bad and they are inexpensive. Beer list about the same. Great quick casual restaurant.

This is our favorite modern-Italian restaurant in town. The atmosphere is classy but casual. You order at the bar and they bring your food to the table. I had the best salad of the year here this week. My husband swears by their calzones. Our friends ordered pizza and it looked divine. Staff stopped by and filled our iced tea glasses continually. The line can get somewhat long on Friday nights and the weekend. Plan accordingly.

I had pizza #5, partner had pasta Pizza was medium-crust, lots of cheese. Order at the front bar, then get your table, eventually get your food. Nice casual atmosphere, including outside seating.

VERY tasty wood oven pizza, crust is classic with many toppings choices. Nice house salad. Mediocre selection of wines. Good selection of beers. Friendly service. Not overly crowded, even on a Friday. $30 plus tip for 2 personal-sized pizzas, 2 salads, and 2 iced teas (mango flavored tea is really good). Would definitely recommend to friends.

Went here with friends for an early dinner (first visit). Order as you enter then sit down. Pizza is good and definitely has a nice crisp to the base (from the wooden oven). Lots of choices for pizza, salad, sandwiches etc. Would recommend and will definitely come back.

This was our first trip to Albuquerque and our friends there recommended this quaint little restaurant. Since it offers wood oven baked pizza we naturally had to try. And we were not disappointed. Pizza was delicious made to order, crisp and fresh. Can only recommend.

Was excited to try one of these wood oven restaurants and picked the one closest to our hotel. Beer was so so nothing to great. Pizza was fast but was sauce was real sweet. It was fine just wasn't expecting it.

The two of us had a couple of 10oz drafts, split a cesare salad, and split a Da Vinci pizza with anchovies. The portions were generous. The food was great. The pizzas are far from ordinary. Felt very satisfied at the end of the meal and no need to take away. The staff were attentive. Our bill came to $28 including tax but not tip. Il Vicino is an active place so it is a bit noisy. There were six of us all together at the table and conversation was possible, but a bit challenged.
