We stayed 4 days for business and it was a Great place to stay .Breakfast is amazing and the social evening event works great too. The room was very nice and comfortable the only two minor issues I had was the shower water pressure was very limited and the thermostat battery gave out the last night so no A/c . Everything else was great and staff was super friendly .Restaurant food was good too but you cant get the meatloaf thats been on the menu but unavailable for awhile .

We come here every year for the boat show in Annapolis. They have a free cocktail hour every evening and included breakfast every morning. The property is lovely and the staff is uniformly friendly and helpful, but management is obviously too greedy to staff or maintain the place adequately. We waited 20 minutes to check in because there was only one one desk clerk on duty. One night we took the shuttle bus to a restaurant. When we called to get picked up we were put on hold for five minutes and never picked up . The following night we had dinner at the hotel. Only one waitress was on duty and there was clearly a staffing problem in the kitchen as it took an inordinate time for our meal to arrive, a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, how can it take thirty minutes to prepare that? Only two of the three elevators were working, they are visible in the atrium, when we mentioned that, we were told that the third one had been out for a while. The ice machine on our floor was not working, the shower could not be adjusted for temperature. Maybe the owners are just running the place down until it can be sold to someone else. We will probable look for someplace else next year.

It's Embassy Suites - they have breakfast!! The cook at this hotel was, by far, the most welcoming aspect. As hotels of this caliber go - it was very good/comparable. The only thing that would cause me to change hotels (other than if they lost the cook (!)), is the fact that, on my last two stays, there is no Gideon Bible in the room. For many - maybe not a problem. For me, if it was hotel policy, I would change to a hotel that cares enough to place Bibles in the room.

Great service at check in, manager's reception, and breakfast. Quick room service with reasonable prices for food. Pool and gym were both nice. Couldn't figure out where I could pick up a six pack in the area (can't buy at grocery/target or gas station), and ended up paying $17 for two bud lights from room service.

A very nice hotel, rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Staff was very helpful and courteous, from the front desk to the maid service, to the shuttle bus bus drivers. Everyone was friendly and attentive to any and needs. The nightly happy hour with free drinks and lite snacks was an added pleasure as was the free made to order breakfasts each morning. TRUELY a very experience.

Bathrooms are in serious need of updates and repairs. The linens are in great shape, but tub/shower/sink are awful. Carpets are visibly stained and dirty in the lobby and hotel room. The bed was comfortable and linens were nice. The food was good in the restaurant. The evening reception was minimal on snacks!

The day we checked in the boiler/heater burst. Meaning no water in most rooms for 24 hours or more. I jumped in the not so clean cold pool to wash up. Accidents happen. But every accident is also an opportunity. Unfortunately the management was AWOL. Didn't see them nor hear from them. Not even a form note under the door much less any cheerleading. Terrible example. Feel bad for the staff. The pleasant and similing front desk staff with a can do attitude made the nwhole episode barely tolerable. Not likely to stay here again.

Their aren't a lot of hotels that offer good complimentary breakfast, and this one by far was the best free breakfast I've had. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and not full of clutter. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here overnight as we took the Amtrak to Baltimore to board a cruise on Saturday. Hotel is beautiful. Suite is very nice. Enjoyed complimentary cocktails and snacks, room service dinner. The suite was very comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Shuttle driver from train station was friendly and polite. All staff were gracious. Location and price were right. Will stay there again.

Great place for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Accommodations were first rate and included breakfast and happy hour. Rooms were clean and had bonus free wifi access and HD tv's. Overall a pleasant experience staying at this hotel.

This is one of your standard Embassy Suites hotels, good and bad (but mostly good). The location is convenient to the airport and upon arrival you'll notice that the parking lot is spacious...and free. The lobby is nice and typical ES. The front desk personnel were excellent, and we dealt with them in several contexts. This hotel offers a free shuttle service within the area, including the light rail, local dining spots, and I assume the airport (we drove in--so can't say for sure). The rooms are nice, very clean, not too large, not too small. The 2-room suites have a comfortable bed in the bedroom and a pullout sofa in the living area, with a TV in each area. Between the areas you'll have a fridge, microwave, and Keurig, plus an in-room safe in the closet (love that!). Using the pullout severely limits moveable space in the living room, but it's adequate for a short or medium stay. The only problem here is that the evening noise that radiates up from the lobby area is immense. You can block it out in the bedroom, but the kids had a tough time getting to sleep on the pull-out as the noise was massive, particularly as there were several wedding parties getting giddy down there, with all manner of teens failing to use their "inside voice." Another negative in the room was the A/C. It seemed to be working just as hard as it could, poor fella, but it could never quite reach the desired temp. It seemed to run nonstop and it was pretty darn loud. Again, you could block the noise out with the bedroom door, but it was otherwise very noisy, though alas, not so noisy to drown out the courtyard festivities. On to more positive stuff, the bathroom was very nice, particularly the oversized shower. If you're 6' or over you'll have to duck down a bit as the showerhead was on the low side, but water pressure was 10/10 and the glassed in doors with new tile made it feel a little luxurious. The overall bathroom size was solid, with a very large sink area (only one sink, however), though nothing huge. But overall very nice, led by that shower. There's a manager's reception in the evening, but we didn't partake. The morning breakfast, IMO, was very well done. The two gentlemen working the omelet (or eggs cooked to order) and hot item breakfast line were very nice, pleasant, and good at their jobs. They had that line moving about as well as at any ES at which I've stayed. Great job! That kept the otherwise packed breakfast area turned over at a better pace than you'd expect. The hot item section had pancakes, sausage, bacon, hash, potatoes, and a few other items. Elsewhere was coffee/tea/juice, fresh fruit (several varieties), hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, pastries galore, and a few other items. Not sure about the "lack of variety" comment I read elsewhere. I guess it depends on what you're used to or expecting, but I thought it was excellent variety. There's a pool I didn't see getting used, but it was large and nice, there was a hot tub, and the exercise room was standard with a good mix of weights and Precor machines. One problem we had was an inability to get wi-fi access. It seemed to be either an on-going problem or one that they'd experienced before. After some finagling, with some help from the front desk folks, we got it up and running. So despite the minor noise annoyances, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights Labor Day weekend. It was a super hub location for visiting Annapolis, Washington DC, Baltimore, and other quaint towns on the Chesapeake Bay. Breakfast was delicious, room was spacious and comfortable, and service was excellent. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed having free, convenient parking and easy access to BWI.

It has been a pleasant stay. The suite has a appropriate size for short stays, as you normally do at airports. It has a nice pool and hot tub. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, even though it had a lack on variety! Dinner in Bistro-One was good too, had an amazing steak!

We stayed here after a cruise and had an early flight out the next day. We arrived early in the day, about 9:30 am and they had a room ready for us! We've never gotten a room that early before. The room was great: a living room and separate bedroom. Had a frig, microwave & coffeemaker. We had a 2 light bulbs out and called for maintenance. Lamar showed up quickly, checked it out and said he would be right back. I went to get ice while my husband waited for Lamar to return. I was at the ice machine, which wasn't working, when Lamar walked by on his way to our room. He saw me and said, "Let me change your bulbs and then I'll get your ice for you. Then give me an hour and I'll get the ice machine fixed." He was very helpful. Ate dinner at the restaurant and had a great waitress and then went to the free happy hour. We went to bed early because our flight was very early and the hotel was quiet and bed comfortable. Their shuttle bus runs every half hour to the airport and the driver was very nice. Hotel was clean, well kept but the best part was the people! We'll stay here again.

Close to airport but not recommended if you plan to sleep on the pull out sofa. Even though we stayed at top floor, we could hear people chattering and laughing late at night in the living area but not bedroom. The make to order breakfast has 1 person and 1 large hot plate to work with so plan accordingly.
