My two stars are about breakfast. Don't do it. Just not good. Admittedly, Sunday morning on Ravens home game day was not a smart choice and clearly the exuberant bar crowd was loving it, but food and service were sorely lacking. Our waiter was overwhelmed. A second waiter tried to save the mess but - too late. My bride's turkey club sandwich was excellent, but Oh My! She refused the egg so I asked for it and was charged $2.50 for it. My daughter's "Breakfast of Champions" was with two eggs and one half of one slice of toast and no butter, but her corn muffin made of yellow sawdust (too dry to eat) was large. No butter. Unsurprising since there was no cream for our coffee. So no salt and pepper shouldn't have surprised us either. My "Irish Breakfast" was large but deep fried cubes of corned beef and cubes of potato are not corned beef hash. The dish was glued together with quite a bit of melted cheese and grits. Blood pudding sausage was a single bias-cut thin slice. Another slice of sausage was of the "mystery meat" variety. My grandson's pancakes $9 were served without syrup. Coffee without cream, single half slices of toast w/o butter, and pancakes without syrup (with long waits for those requested items) pretty much sums up breakfast. Oof. The 4.5 stars seem to be centered around happy hour and dinners. That's probably fair. But for breakfast, no thanks.

I used to live in the area and often went to Rowhouse for both brunch and dinner. After not having been there in several years, I suggested RHG when a group of friends was looking for a brunch spot before the Orioles game on Sunday, June 18. There were four of us and we all ordered different meals along with the AUCD brunch special. The two plates that came out with waffles - the waffles were burnt. My brother's meal came with a "side" of fruit which was literally four pieces of fruit. The fourth person in our party ordered a steak burrito and the steak inside was RAW. I emailed RHG the following day to express my disappointment. I did receive an email back from Carlos, the same day, who explained that there was a crisis in the kitchen during our time dining there, and that he would send me a gift card to come back as his guest in the future. I thought this was a kind gesture, and since I had in years past had great experiences, replied back with my address. I have not heard back from him nor received anything since. Just was a bad experience to spend $150 and then not to hear back from anyone. I understand it could have been a one-off situation but I would not willingly come back after the last experience we had.

Visited with a group of friends for happy hour/dinner. We started at the bar and they offered 2 for 1 happy hour which was great, after that we moved to a table and found out that we were still able to do the happy hour at the table which was a big bonus. They had a nice selection of local oysters which were delicious and by the way also on special during happy hour; the dinner specials were also fantastic. Apparently they have different dinner specials every night of the week. Will definitely be going back for more. Brunch menu looks fantastic, maybe our next visit.

Went in for dinner and drinks and it was fantastic I'm from the south so I ordered some seafood to compare and got the local oysters and the seafood gumbo. It did not disappoint!! almost gave the gulf coast a run for its money !!! Don't miss this place if you are near Fed Hill.

We reserved the upstairs bar for a small alumni networking event. Jesse, the events manager was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. He verified the event one week prior and the menu the day before. He worked with me on so many details I may have forgotten to plan. When the actual event arrived we had two dedicated bartenders helping to serve our group and they were on top of everything, from bringing out our food at the desired time, refilling drinks and waters, and splitting up the checks at the end of the evening. I already frequent rowhouse as an individual customer for the food, atmosphere, and service...but I would highly recommend the rowhouse grille for your next private event as well!

I have been to the Rowhouse a number of times. The food is terrific and well priced and the staff and especially the chef, Tess, are all terrific. My wife and I went there for a birthday not too long ago and ordered their Tasting Menu. This is a fixed menu with five courses that are paired with drinks. This was easily one of the best meals that I have had in Baltimore. The portions were large for each course and each one seemed to top the one before. I can't say enough good things about the place.

Had Mother's Day brunch here this week. Great variety on the menu for our group of 12. Comfortable seating with plenty of high chairs and booster seats for young children. I had the Waffle Monte Cristo and it was superb. Grandchildren shared the chicken and waffle with fries.Breakfast burritos looked good as well. Service was a little slow but that was probably a combination of Mother's Day crowd and our having four children under 3 who are hard to entertain for any length of time in a restaurant. Nice touch was the bread pudding provided for all the mothers as a treat. They have valet parking but it is an esy walk from anywhere in the Federal Hill, Inner Harbor area. Also close to charm Cit circulator purple route stop.

As always the lunch was fantastic. Fair pricing and interesting specials. But I also wanted to stop by and see the upstairs make over courtesy of a wonderful Baltimore artist ,Kelly Walker. Spectacular, inviting, original, like attending a gallery opening. A must see and stay for great food too.

Rowhouse grill is a great all-around option: it has a laid back bar scene with late night restaurant/apps possibility. They serve a solid crab dip, and some solid drinks. Head here if you're looking to have some late night dinner with friends or otherwise want to find a bar scene in Federal Hill that isn't as loud or wild as Cross St area!

I went here with family not knowing what to expect. I decided on the burger and it was great. I also ordered the hand cut french fries also very good. My only complaint is it can be really noisy (a lot of hard surfaces nothing to deaden the sound) other that the food was great.

Went for Sunday Brunch and had an amazing visit. The restaurant is just a block and a bit north of the Cross St. Market. The only parking is on the street, but two cars found parking within a block without a problem. I imagine that more primetime visits might find less available parking, but there is a garage about 2 blocks away. it's also super convenient to the Circulator. I can't say enough good things about our visit. The service was friendly and attentive without being in our face. The food was AMAZING. Not super complicated, but not cheap diner food plopped on a plate by a long shot. Well presented, but no ingredients I couldn't recognize or pronounce. The food came out quickly, exactly as ordered, and at the right temperature. I had the buffalo soldiers, which was a savory chicken dish. Others at the table had french toast, an Irish breakfast skillet, and chicken and waffles. We all tried each others food, and everybody loved everything. The environment was casual, but not shabby. Everything was clean and in order, but I didn't feel like I should have been dressier than my tshirt and shorts. There was shaded outside seating, even though we sat inside. Our table by the window gave us great people watching, as well as clear views of the big TVs from all seats. This would be a great place to watch the Ravens or Os. I saw other reviewers complain about the noise, and I could see that being a problem when the place is packed. It was only about 20% full when we went, so it was perfectly easy to have a conversation at the table. I can imagine a Friday or Saturday night being super loud, but that's to be expected.

Our friend treated us to dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Valet parking on Friday made your restaurant an easy choice for us. We requested a quiet table and were seated upstairs. Monica, our server, came over right away. She remembered us from the last time we were in. She was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We requested to turn off one TV and to lower the music, which Monica took care of right away. We just wanted to be able to talk with each other. We started with a RowHouse Wedge Salad – just right to share – a generous wedge of iceberg lettuce with bacon, blue cheese crumbles, and grape tomatoes with gin-spiked blue cheese dressing – really tasty. My husband and friend both went for the 8 oz. Australian Sirloin Steak – both raved about the steak – cooked perfectly to their specifications. I was enticed by a daily special of soft shell crab sandwich. Monica explained that the soft shell was not huge but really good. She was right. It was presented on a soft roll with mayonnaise, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The soft shell crab was crispy and delicious. We finished with the monster cheesecake and vanilla ice cream sundae. Thank you for a lovely birthday celebration, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We found and booked a table at this restaurant on Open Table. The atmosphere was outstanding. We ate in a brick-walled second floor dining area that has its own bar. Seating is at small, high round tables. It was cozy and casual. The food was excellent - great moules frites!

Why are restaurants so loud that you must shout to be heard by people sitting a cross the table? It really takes away from an enjoyable dining experience. We went here on a Saturday night, our reservations were honored and we were promptly shown to our table. The menu was varied with entrees and light fare. My wife had a steak and l had a lamb gyro. The food was moderately priced and good.

This restaurant is a perfect "middle of the road" place; decent food, friendly and welcoming staff, good bar, good free valet (necessary when area is busy). Started with martinis - made the way we like them. On to an order of mussels - very nice, tasty and fresh. My wife had eggplant dish which was very tasty and well-prepared. I had the chicken tacos - Very, very good in taste and portion size. We asked Jesse, our waitress, for some guidance since we'd not visited before; she was right on about everything she recommended from drinks to food. Shawn, a manager, was extremely helpful in getting our car valet parked AND when the heavy rains came as we were leaving, he and the valet worked together to get us into our vehicle. To sum up, there's a large menu with numerous choices, along with a decent bar menu as well. Will hope to try other dishes on our next visit (and we'll surely do the mussels again).

Last night we wanted to try something new, so off we went to The Rowhouse Grille in Federal Hill. The downstairs bar and restaurant were almost full with an energized vibe. For us seniors, it was little too loud for us. Thankfully, we were taken upstairs. There were only 2 other tables occupied, so it was very quiet when we arrived. Our server, Monica, was friendly and attentive. She explained several items on the menu and gave us great recommendations. My husband decided to try something out of his comfort zone and went for the Lobster Roll with crispy fries. I decided on the Cuban sandwich and homemade chips. Wow, we both enjoyed our sandwiches – very fresh and flavorful. Just as we were finished, the rest of the dining room filled up and the noise level went up. Valet parking was a plus!

We went to Rowhouse On a Friday night for dinner. Was very disappointed that happy hour specials were only available at the bar. They have limited kid's menu - the waitress had to tell me what was available. Chicken and waffles was delicious but go somewhere else if you want to sit at a table for happy hour and get to enjoy drink specials.

They have bottomless mimosas and sangria. Definitely get the Irish Breakfast. Super yummy!! The atmosphere is very chill with a local feel to it.
