Wow. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, and is located on a busy corner with limited onsite parking. Don’t let that deter you. It’s great for a casual lunch of burgers, salads, tacos and more. We both had the basic bean burrito, which came generously dressed with guacamole and sour cream. I tried a local pale ale after agonizing over their extensive list of brews and the variety of serving sizes. The place was bustling while we were there and our server seemed a bit distracted, which is the only reason I didn’t give this five thumbs up. Good food, good prices. Go for it.

Stopped in during a drive around the island. Great selection of beers, all brewed on site. Excellent service, relaxed vibe, reasonable prices. Not in the tourist zone. We sat inside, because it was warmer, and the smoke from the kitchen was kind of annoying. But after a sampler or two of beer, we didn't care. If you see it, make the stop. You will be a fan

...and of couse there's beer. Ginger and many others, nicely ranked by IBU (International Bitterness Units, so you can be as wimpy or beermaniac as you want). The setting is a bit noisy, either outside by the Mamalahoa Highway or inside in the bar area, but the food, beer, and service were perfect for a lazy tourist afternoon.

despite this being a "brewhaus" my husband and I much preferred the food to the beers. The beers did not pack much of a punch but man was that food tasty! the fish bites were a generous portion, cooked perfectly and I wanted to lick the bowl that the dipping sauce came in. Another nice surprise was the cumin seasoned squash app- so flavorful! and the black bean falafel is the greatest falafel I have ever had. The portion is huge I was so happy to take half of it home and enjoy it again a few hours later. If I lived near this place I would eat the falafel all the time.

I loved everything about this place...small, unpretentious, great staff, food and most of all the beer. Bought a growler as a souvenir...made it back to Sacramento in prestine condition. Give these folks your business, you won't be disappointed.

We stopped for lunch after finding the very good reviews on TripAdvisor. We each had the beer sampler, five 3.5 ounce glasses of beer, served in a Wilton muffin pan. Cute! The beers were all good, not great, and many had a similar taste. I had the fish bites, which were very good. My wife had the fish taco, and found it OK and not very filling - one or two more would have helped. Our waitress, Jenna, was excellent. If in the area, I would visit them again, and recommend that others do, too.

The first time around we weren't as impressed as the second time. Really ended up loving it! The music and the service was much improved and their deep fried swordfish was outstanding! We tell everyone how much we enjoyed this brewery, especially after a day of hiking. We plan to go back to the island some day and this will be a stop for sure.!

We went here at the recommendation of the local waiter from our hotel and we loved this place. We came back multiple times during our trip. They have a a great selection of beer all of which is incredible. The place is very cozy and intimate. The food was very good and the service was great and very friendly. Everything here was very reasonable priced, which is especially surprising for Hawaii. Highly recommended!!!!

This place has an excellent beer selection and their beers are highly coveted on an island with some great breweries! Golden Sabbath is one of their most popular beers, I usually like to go for amber ales though. I remember trying some other items from the menu that were ok, but the Chimichanga is my go to, and it's awesome! Parking can fill up pretty fast and I think you can park across the street. Also, this place is the highest brewery in Hawai‘i and it can get a bit cold if you sit outside, so bring a jacket just in case. Get a beer, get a chimi, get satisfaction!

When we booked our vacation we made plans to visit this restaurant because we heard such great things. It definitely lived up to its reputation! We both had burgers, garlic fries and a beer sampler. Every beer was delicious and unique. The food is slap you in the face amazing. The cilantro aioli that came with the garlic fries made me reevaluate my lifetime boycott of cilantro. We ordered a cookie and a brownie to go. Both were large enough to feed a small family. The server was awesome and the whole place just had this cool vibe that only the Big Island has. Parking is limited so be sure to read the sign out front letting you know where else you can park.

We stopped in for lunch on our way back from zip lining and were pleasantly surprised by the great selection of menu items and beers. The waitstaff were pleasant and the food and drinks came out very quickly. They also had a great kids menu so would recommend for families as well.

On the recommendation of a local vendor at the Waimea open market, we tried the Brewhaus on our final day in Hawaii. Our party of seven tried the Cumin Roasted Kabocha Squash and Hawaiian Caprese for starters, both excellent. Then among the entrees we selected were the Black and Bleu Burger, Paniolo Burrito and Rockie’s Famous Fish Bites, all of which were delicious. You can sit indoors or out, so we chose their pleasant courtyard out front. If visiting the north side of the Big Island, be sure to visit this place. Casual dining at its best!

Lovely staff, cosy, laid back place. Went three times as best value for freshly cooked food, had the daily fish each time with a variety of meals. Daughter vegetarian and good selection for her, her dad enjoyed the burgers. Garlic fries very good. Daughter and dad also enjoyed the beer. (She is over 21, they checked).

Cozy tropical brewhaus not far from Waikoloa....great personal service! Lots to choose from for food and beer. I had a quesadilla and chips with cheese (like melted shredded cheese on tortilla chips, not queso to dip in). My husband had the special (jambalaya) with the world's biggest shrimp on top! He had a beer flight too. I love the atmosphere. Outdoor seating allowed kids for sure.

Great selection of beers brewed in house, including the bitterness rating and alcohol content. Service was very good and our food was good as well. Wide slextion on food menu. They also had a good band playing the night we were there.

We loved the beer selection and quality. From scratch food was amazing--poke, burritos, fish bites. Any fresh catch specials you must have. But the beer--love.

The special of the day was a stacked fish taco that was amazing! Came with rice, black beans, salsa, guacamole and several other things. The root beer on tap was one of the best I've had.

We stopped in on a recommendation from a person at the farmers market. Lunch was good. The beers also hit the spot. Lots or choices and good service.

This place is a must visit! The food is amazing. I had coconut creme ale and it was so good and I'm not a beer drinker! The nachos were fabulous with the shredded chicken. The fish tacos were amazing! The fries with the cheese sauce was wonderful! And the burgers were huge! I will definitely be back to this place.
