This amazing restaurant is inside of the Outrigger Hotel, and the food is unbelievable. The macadamia nut dishes are to die for, and the view is right over the beach.

Conveniently located with the Outrigger hotel we had some excellent steaks here. Very helpful staff who made sure we had a "sea front" table as requested - recommended.

Breakfast here is fantastic! Very creative hawaiian-style cuisine breakfast. There was something for everyone in our family. My son loved the acaii bowl. My husband was happy to have the old Hawaiin delicacy spam! Coffee was great, and the view can't be beat!

Hula Grill in Waikiki is nice place for lunch or dinner. Good location, nice view of beach. Good menu selection.

This restaurant is on the upper lobby floor and overlooks the hotel pool and Waikiki Beach. It is nicely decorated and supports local farmers and fishermen as much as possible. We found the kids menu to be really good, offering mango BBQ ribs and other good food at prices you might pay for a grilled cheese sandwich somewhere else. I had three excellent fish dishes (on different nights). The only thing I would change is the portion size for some of them (one "salad" consisted of about six cherry tomatoes). The prices are similar to what you would pay at the steakhouse next door, but the food is far superior in my opinion.

After reading that they had Opah my favorite fish my daughter and I had dinner and it was beyond outstanding. It was so good my 10 year old wanted to come back and she made the Beach front reservations. The service from Kevin was professional and felt genuine. I had the fish special both nights and even came back for breakfast even though we were staying at different hotel. A local over heard us talking about our dinner and said that it's the best dinner on the island we Agree!!!

We had breakfast at the Hula Grill inside of our hotel on the last day of our stay. We tried the tropical pancakes, strawberry waffles and a tomato pesto egg benedict. All of these were very good, but the pancakes were divine. Honestly, I could eat those pancakes every single day. Somehow the mixture of the ricotta cheese topping, the tropical fruit, and the airy texture of the pancakes makes a very luscious combination. The service at this restaurant was also pretty fabulous.

The Hula Grill was once great for Happy Hour food. but, like most restaurants in Waikiki they have down graded the menu. We paid $32.00 for Fish and Chips that used to be on the Happy Hour Menu for $14.00. The Happy Hour Fish and Chips where better. Drinks and Beer selection is still good. Service is friendly and good.

Excellent location and view, very nice views if you can get a seat overlooking the beach. Food and drinks were also excellent. We shared an appetizer and they very nicely portioned the beet salad on two plates. Entrees were good, drinks excellent and servers were very attentive and prompt service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We headed in to downtown Honolulu and we decided to stop at the Hula Grill. The Hula Grill is located on the 2nd floor directly above Duke's in the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. There is a large comfortable lobby with seating to wait in, if the restaurant is really busy. There is also a bar seating area which is "first come, first served". On the evening that we were there, they also had a duet that was performing, even doing the Hawaiian Wedding Song for a newly married Japanese couple. Bentley was our server and she was training Kevin. Both were very friendly and very efficient. We sat in the bar area, as the regular dining area had about a 40 minute wait for a table. We ordered a chef's burger with thick fries and our second entree was a three ahi tuna taco platter. The burger was perfectly done - medium rare, and tasted great, as did the tacos. We sat for awhile and listened to the duet after dinner, as the dinner rush had slowed. We learned that the Hula Grill is part of the same company that owns Duke's, which is one reason why you see the Hula pie on the menu for the Hula Grill.

Me and my wife decided to go Hula grill, we waited 5 minutes to get a seat and we had a great waitress we had 2 entrees 2 mains and 1 desert between us cost was 130usd that was a big shock but the view was amazing. I recommend the pasta alfredo with the big shrimp and the Hula pie. That Hula Pie is massive and can be shared between 2 adults. It's got macadamia ice cream and chocolate sauce with nut pieces yummy would go back for that.

Breakfast was good. Hula pie good (share with four people) Happy hour we had to sit in bar area we were not allowed to sit by the balcony. Very limited drinks. We would have stayed longer for appies but the limitations were enough to send us to another restaurant.

Best part was the seating on the lanai. The food could be found anywhere. Busy at lunch and dinner so plan ahead.

We ate at the Hulla Grill whilst my wife and i stayed at Waikiki and the food was great, BUT very expensive. I understand high end places to eat but at $30 to $40 per meal seamed to me very expensive, but hey, that's just me. Located within the Outrigger Hotel; there are great views over Waikiki beach and the ocean but if money was no issue the I would recommend Hula Grill

Visited this restaurant several times during our recent vacation. Breakfast was good except service seemed a bit off. Seating by hostesses inefficient. Several servers new and made mistakes on order by apologiezed and corretced situation. Notwithstanding the shortalls we would recommend this restaurant.

We only had breakfast at this Hula Grill. We went fairly early so did not have to wait long. Service was good and the food was very good as well.

We had lunch here, food was delicious and portions large. We split our meal and were plenty full. Very good service.

Ate here with a group of 20+ people, service was fairly quick considering this. I'm a vegan and the staff were also good about suggesting options for me.

We've eaten here a few times on our visits to Waikiki and it never disappoints. Both the breakfast and dinner menu's are great and the food is always good. Salad bar and breakfast buffet have a huge selection and are fresh and tasty. Service is exceptional and we love the atmosphere and culture.

The view was amazing from where we sat, the palms and the sunset made a beautiful photo for me to cherish, might even put it on canvas.

Fresh local fish but portions very small and expensive. Service was very good, but wish the meat quality and portions matched the expensive price. Best to stick to the fish dishes.Nice to have live music and a view to make the bill paying less painful.
