This amazing restaurant is inside of the Outrigger Hotel, and the food is unbelievable. The macadamia nut dishes are to die for, and the view is right over the beach.

My son and I loved this place. Terrific breakfast and dinner, great views, fun bar, and this drink called the tropical itch! We went there multiple times over our stay and loved it every time. Dinner is a bit pricey if you want the best views and the best menu, but I think it was well worth it.

We wanted beef and ordered the Steak Diane the dinner menu filet). The steak melted in your mouth and the roasted potatoes were wonderful!

Ate here for breakfast. Didn’t have reservation but it only took 10 minutes to be seated. The wait staff is very polite. Food was great. What made the food even better was the view you had while you were eating. Too many birds flying walking around as you ate

We dined here twice for dinner and brunch. I love the traditional Hawaiian feel of the restaurant. The food was delicious and the servers friendly and very attentive. Good menu with lots of fresh choices - the ahi tacos were amazing, and the hula pie is always popular with the kids. They make a really good mai tai too Highly recommend

although Hula grill isn't the best spot in my opinion to eat, its certainly good, affordable and great service. The view of Waikiki beach is great! We often stop in for breakfast or lunch. Dinner can be a 15 minute wait as it is usually full.

Stopped in for a drink and snack here after trying to find a table downstairs at Dukes. We were pleasantly surprised by exceptional service, FANTASTIC drinks and delicious food. Our server was on it the whole time. We ordered Mai Tai's -- made 'from scratch' and some cream cheese/crab filled won tons off of the Happy Hour menu. I have to say -- the Mai Tai here was the best I had during my entire stay in the islands... and I tasted a LOT of Mai Tai's!

Arrived at breakfast opening. No wait. Parked in valet for $8, covers 4 Hours. Quickly seated. Beautiful view. Amazing waiter, great recommendations, very personable—JC! Ordered Lobster and asparagus benny and the strawberry waffles with the amazing honey and whipped cream to share with my husband. He ordered the short ribs Loco Moco. The lobster benny wasn’t great. Small pieces of lobster, the sauce was bland. I did like the muffin it was on. The egg was cooked well. But I’d never order that again. The waffles are everything and more. I could have eaten those alone and been satisfied. My husband enjoyed the twist on his loco moco. The view was great. I will probably return for happy hour. You need to visit this place. Enjoy! I hope you find this review helpful.

We had breakfast here and it was pretty good. Great staff, awesome atmosphere. The banana Mac pancakes were yum. I had the eggs benny and asked for my poached eggs to be almost well done as I don’t like runny white, so I was a little disappointed that they were extremely soft and gooey white still. Other than this it was nice

My mom and I went to Hula Grill on our first morning in Waikiki, we loved it so much we went back again but brought my Grandma and her friend. The view was wonderful. The service was quick. Both waiters were great, but one left us with many laughs that my Grandma still brings him up when we talk about our trip. He was funny, personable, and made sure we were taken care of.

Part of Dukes Waikiki. This is the cheapest decent place I've found, to have a drink while waiting for someone, if you want to be on the beach at happy hour. If you are coming from somewhere other than Waikiki, parking can cost a lot, so ask about their free validated parking on Kuhio ave.

We wanted our two boys to go to bed early and in this restaurant we found good quality food at a reasonable price and with a very quick service. The place is pleasant and there is beautiful live hawaiian music. The atmosphere is relaxed and we had the feeling that many of the guests were locals or regulars.

We found this place to be just OK. Our calamari came to us cool and not too great tasting. They did not allow us to sit in the front area where we'd have the beach view because that area was not opened yet and the ambience was lacking.

Happy Hour at the Hula Grill is the perfect place to go for great prices and puu puus from 3-6pm. We started off sharing the coconut calamari ($9) for several pieces of tender and tasty calamari and of course a couple of yummy Mai Tais ($8 - what a deal!) The fish & chips ($20) had 3 large pieces of delicious white fish (similar to Marlin) and lots of wedge potatoes. We ended by sharing the monster-sized and mouth-watering Hula Pie. We had to go for a lonnnnggg walk along the beach after dinner. But hey, it was sunset so it doesn’t get much better than this.

We were planning to go to Duke's, but it was over one and a half hour wait. Hula grill seated us within ten minutes. The food was very tasty and the wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. Ordered a few side dishes and was full. We might consider coming back to this establishment on our next trip to Honolulu.

This second story restaurant has quite a view of the sunsets on Waikiki. The menu has various fish meals and specials also. I chose the Macadamia Nut Fish and friend had the Fresh Opah. We also had a Side Hearts of Palm for an appetizers. The meals were very pleasant and tasty. We did not take them up on the desert menu as the fish was very filling.

I went to hula grill after finding out the wait at Duke's was too long. I went upstairs and hula grill was only a 25 minute wait. The special of the day was two types of fish, sword fish and mahi. It was delicious! Dessert was delicious! The drinks felt like they had no alcohol. The waiter was very nice.

This restaurant serves delicious breakfasts and wonderful dinners. The dinner choices are a little limited, but every item we ordered was delicious. the view of the ocean can be seen from every table. Lovely, great for sunset time.

This is one of the most “Waikiki” places to eat. It is elevated so it gives you a great view of the beach and surf. The service is first rate. The distance between tables is good, so we don’t feel as if your neighbours are joining you for a meal nor a conversation! The food is delicious. We didn’t think it was expensive. The Hula Pie is just out of this world! On our recent trip to Honolulu we ate here more than once - unusual for me, but it was that good.

I LOVE this restaurant and couldn't wait to come back for their steak kiana. I was thinking about it since our visit a couple years ago! Let me tell you, the food doesn't disappoint. I booked a reservation using open table, which was super helpful. Now to the downside. I know that they want to seat people right by the edge outside so they are closer to the water/watch the sunset. However, it was definitely warm that day and the sun was in my husbands eyes and my 16 month olds eyes. I asked to be moved to a table out of the sun. So, the server had to go ask the hostess and instead of moving us to a table literally right behind us they moved us to a booth on the other side of the restaurant. It wasn't the moving across the restaurant that got me--it was our new high chair. We had a normal high chair (that appeared clean) at the table. At the booth they had one that clamped on the table and had little penguin rubbery things that held the seat on. This was literally the most disgusting seat I've seen. So so dirty. Food and crumbs coating the front part and the rubbery penguins were covered in filth (and you know, what 16 month old could resist touching the rubbery penguins???) I asked for it to be cleaned and it was "wiped" with a cloth. STILL DIRTY. And none of the front of the seat (that was caked in other children's food) was ever cleaned off. I decided to just try to go with it and get through dinner before my kiddo got cranky. We are fast, washed his hands and got outta there. So, really great food--very dirty high chairs. Next time I will specifically say no booth high chairs.
