This is a really neat little Buffet place, doesn't offer a huge selection but what they have is really good. Just don't sit in the back somewhere or you will get ignored for your drinks. Other than that I would recommend it for good food at a decent price.

Visited this Buffet in 2016 and 2017. Tasty food, and good service. I liked the shrimp and crawfish boil. The pork was tasty. Big dessert station with fresh baked goodies. Soups, Breads, Southern favorites, beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, crawfish, sausages, nice salad bar pizza soft serve ice cream

Such a large selection! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and there were so many choices. Cleanliness is a must for us and this place has it. Great place to eat.

There are certain dishes that define the quality of a cuisine for me. At Mexican restaurants, it's the chili rellenos. At Italian restaurants, it's the Alfredo sauce. At Chinese restaurants, it's the hot and sour soup. At southern country buffets, it's the fried okra. Anybody can do fried chicken, mac and cheese and black-eyed peas. But few chain restaurants can do fried okra *IN MASS QUANTITIES* just like grandma used to make -- fresh cut (not frozen), tossed in a cornmeal / flour mix and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. If you love fried okra, you'll LOVE this place! Once when they didn't have okra on the food bar, a manager went in the back and cooked some up for me special. It doesn't get any better than that!

I gave a three based on the overall experience. The food was good, and the restaurant itself was clean. I have eaten here in the past for the sit in buffet and I also enjoyed the food. However this visit was takeout and I spent well over $20 for one meal. The food is weighed on a scale and the I'm not sure of the price per pound but I had one styrofoam takeout container and a cup of mac and cheese. The container is the standard three slot with two small spots for sides and the main slot for the entree. I didn't think I had filled it by that much but the scale told a different story. I recommend sit in dining versus takeout.

We make sure to always stop in Savannah on our way to and from Florida just so that we can go to Ole Times Buffet. The food is hot, fresh, and tastes like family is in the kitchen cooking. Actually, they are. The staff are friendly and you can usually get seated right away. We made the mistake of going on a Sunday after church hours and it was jammed packed but we still had no problems. The BBQ sauce is also worth buying a bottle to go. I live in Pennsylvania but I will be back.

This is a delicious southern Buffett. Lots of options to choose from. Reasonable price especially for children. This is the place to go for delicious fried chicken, fish, or pork chops.

We were warned that Sunday after church would be packed and it was but we were seated quickly and the price was very fair for what you are about to receive...This is a place where people come together for a common love of good southern food. Memories of this kind of food are deep within those of us who grew up in the south and in a way it bonds us despite our differences. The food was every kind of dish you would expect...and then some and it was all very good. The staff was all over it and replaced every dish as soon as it got low. There was so much food...fresh peas, turkey cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes, greens, fried chicken cut up the old school way, mac and cheese, okra and tomatoes, cornbread...and much more that would not fit on my plate. If you want an authentic experience of Savannah then skip the tourist food traps and come here on a Sunday afternoon to see what can bring us together.

We came to Ole Times Country Buffet for lunch. The place was very crowded! There was a long line and long wait, but worth it. There was a wide variety of food. Plus, various Savannah resident favorites such as: chitterlings and pig feet. The food was fresh and tasty! Beware the weekends are crowded! Great Place!

Lots of fried food with decent quality. There wasn't anything terrible but also nothing that stands out as "oh yeah that was great!". The selection is good, the food hot, and the staff nice but I think it's more of a place locals go for cheap eats than anything else.

One of our favorite restaurants, always clean and fresh food. Ate there Easter evening and the kids were running. There is a sign children under 9 to be with parents this was not the case. Kids at buffet and ring about almost knocked me down.

This buffet restaurants will satisfy your every need; meats like fried chicken;ribs;barbecue; steak; catfish (more fish on their Friday Seafood Buffet)but also baked chicken and fish; casseroles; but the vegetables table is truly beautiful;okra, three kinds of corn; greens with ham;beans of every kind;beets;mashed pot and gravy;rice; huge salad bar; desserts; a good place to satisfy everyone; waitresses always cleaning table; not rushing you price is right I think $7.99 before four, slightly more after; not sure of children rates but must be as reasonable and when you are all done; rocking chairs to relax on outside.

Definitely not an upscale buffet, but the food was good. They had everything from beans and rice to chicken and dumplings (the noodle kind rather than biscuits found elsewhere), a very good turkey and gravy dish, pork chops, ham among other entrees. A very nice salad bar and a separate fruit bar. A wider range of desserts than you might expect. The German chocolate cake, although sweeter than I liked, was better than the brownies which were a little dry. Instead of napkins there are rolls of paper towels on the tables. Very nice people from the young woman taking your money to the cooks to the managers who went table to table checking on you.

Oh my goodness this food is sooo good! It's the ideal place to go for REAL southern/soul food. It is a buffet style restaurant and it has more choices than any place I've ever seen. Bring your empty stomach and enjoy southern/soul food at its best.

I have visited several Ole Times, but this was the first opportunity in Savannah. The product is consistent and reasonably priced. You cannot go wrong!
