Quinns is a small cafe open for lunch and dinner. Locked in the Shoppes of Hockessin. Good choices for breakfast and lunch. Prepared quickly and served by friendly people, who, after you have been a few times, will "know your name". The owner, John Quinn is there most of the time behind the counter thing care of business. Your coffee cup will never be empty at Quinns. Sometime on weekend mornings there is a little line for a table. The wait is worth it.

Nothing special here. The owner is nice, as are the staff. The breakfast potatoes are inedible.....please grate the potatoes. Clean bathroom after passing by the stock shelves.

Quinns and Kims before has long been a go-to spot for us. The food has always been good. The service was a high point. This visit missed on both counts. The food wasn't warm. The service was slow to the point of having to ask twice for things. Oddly, it wasn't busy either that day. A return visit will definitely be made to one of our favorite places. Hopefully, next time wil be better.

Love going to Quinn's either for breakfast or lunch, such a warm and friendly place. Hockessin's own "Cheer's" where everybody knows your name!!!

I would like to give this a higher rating but the service was spotty and we had to seek out the servers on at least 2 occasions. The food was fine but not memorable.

They have lots to offer but it's so cozy, you just want to order breakfast, no matter what time it is. Quick turnaround, generous portions. Doing a brisk business!

We go to Quinn's a few times a month for breakfast. The staff, owners and food are great and the prices are reasonable. It's a small place but it's cozy. Worth the wait when they are busy!

Small but mighty. Wraps are awesome; salads are big. Love their homemade chicken salad. George (female) waitress is always a pleasure. it's close to home and is open for breakfast and lunch only.

Great service, good food at reasonable price. Go-to place for lunch with friend. Always a good crowd with repeat customers.

We have seen lines waiting for a table for a weekend breakfast at this little neighborhood restaurant. But our breakfast stop there was disappointing. Perhaps it was because we just ordered a standard eggs and potatoes breakfast with coffee. Coffee was good. Scrambled eggs had the look of eggs poured from a carton. Potatoes were terrible. They were not the expected hash browns but rather were home made potato chips but they were cold and chewy. We saw some omelets pass by on the way to other tables which looked much better. We were also put off by the interior which was quite crude - exposed wiring like you would see in a basement and an extension cord running across a ceiling. Worn out flooring and a dirty old carpet. Place looks like it could use a good cleaning. We will not give it a second chance

Looking for a great breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go. Walk in and be seated pretty much right away. Sometimes a short wait. But so worthwhile.

First time visit and chipped beef and biscuits was really good! I would go back again when I am in the area. Service was good.

Small but good food. Family run diner atmosphere with local photographers' art on the walls for sell. Coffee, service , and food are all prepared and gotten to you fast.and they taste good! I had breakfast both visits but the lunch menu looks really good as well. The second time we went on a Sunday morning, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. There isn't really a good place to wait. The bench by the door is ok for 3 people. Outside there are a couple of chairs. But it was cold. We huddled by the door and ignored that it probably wasn't fun for the people sitting at the table right there. Still, excellent breakfast.

We had breakfast there last Sunday as we do once in a while after church on Sundays. It is usually pretty crowded on the weekends, the restaurant is small but they keep things moving pretty quickly. You may have to wait 10 - 15 minutes to be seated but the wait is worth the meal. Food is always good and the coffee is one of the best I've had in a diner. They serve breakfast and lunch all week. I usually get the Greek Omelet or standard eggs, sausage links, potato's and toast. My family likes to get lunch instead so it works for all of us. Very good place to eat and the service is always good. Staff is very friendly.

Great quality meals. All waters and waitresses are nice and treat you with respect. The staff at Quinn's always wants the best for you. The food is cooked beautifully and you can never have a bad meal. Overall a very warm and welcoming environment.

This restaurant is very small but the food is very good. I have to say it is alittle pricey. They have grits on their menu which normally in DE you do not find grits on the menu.

Quinn's Cafe (formerly Kim's) is a nice little eatery in Hockessin. Food is good, prices are great, and the service is friendly. They are only open for breakfast and lunch but have a decent selection to choose from for those meals. Portions could be a little bigger for big breakfast eaters but you can always order more! My favorite little "hole in the wall" place to eat on the weekends.

Quinn's is your typical local diner. Nothing fancy, but the food is very good and so is the service. It's a great spot for an inexpensive, filling meal. As one reviewer already mentioned, it has changed name's a few times, but the quality of the food and service has always remained consistent. I highly recommend it!!
