It was a treat to eat outside on a surprisingly balmy night in October. Our preference to the lively and air conditioned inside of the restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and our food was delicious. Love their eggplant panini and salad! Good portions. Absolutely recommend.

Love this spot. Great for families or couples. Wine selection is always good and rotates. Food is excellent. Very boisterous and a vibrant bar scene. Gorgeous white marble bar. Friendly wait staff. They do turn tables over fairly quickly.

Well I have been here once before about a year ago, and I really can't say much about my experience from last year, But this year is still very fresh in my mind. Met 2 of my closest friends for a birthday celebration, met at the bar for a cocktail, A very cool scene, waited for a table, and was seated in a timely manner. The waitress was awesome, but after some tapas , which were good, not great We then ordered our entrees , which is why I am submitting this review. We ordered a chicken specialty , and he comes out with a very small breast of chicken, I thought it was a kids meal. when we questioned the manager, not a great one by the way, he gave some lame excuse, that it appears to be 2 pieces but it's only one, WHAT!! I almost fell off my chair. he went on to say if we wanted more chicken then we would have to order and pay for another entree. You will never see me there again, But I really don't think they care Dave

A friend and I ended up here after the restaurant we had planned on eating at was closed on Monday evenings. We were not disappointed. It was fairly busy and we were seated and served promptly. We ordered and shared the Nella salad and pizza Bianca. Both were delicious and it was plenty of food for us to split. Our waitress informed us that there is an up charge for ordering one dish and asking it to be plated for two so we shared the dish but plated it ourselves.

I love the atmosphere and decor, very vintage black and white with red chandeliers. Plus I love that they play old black and white movies on the projector! The bar is beautiful and sangria is my favorite of anywhere! Very generous sized sangria, red or white is amazing. They do not take reservations and the place is a bit small so if you go on the weekend be prepared to wait and for there not to be enough room to stand. But food is amazing and I've never had a bad encounter here. That is until recently when I was there for a birthday dinner, party of 7 of us (on a Sunday at 5 p.m.). Some food forgotten and some dishes were freezing cold. As if not timed correctly and when done some dishes were sitting waiting for others to be finished. When I complained they took food back my food and everyone at the table finished their entrees before I got my salad with chicken so I ended up taking it to go. And they still charged me for the dish even though I didn't get to eat it! I was shocked. Other than that instance, I've never had a bad dish or time at this restaurant.

Run for the hills. There are so many better options in Fairfield than here. Went here on recommendation and was very disappointed. I ordered 2 salads (see attached photo) and an appetiser . App came out without a fuss, but nearly an hour later, our lunch window had diminished and had them wrapped to go (needs to be said that only 1 table of 5 were also waiting on their order) Heres the rub - when I asked the hostess what on earth was taking so long, her response was "I don't cook the food. Its not my problem!" That says enough to me - Lots of better options - Try Plan B right across the street - they have good food, great service and salads don't take longer than slow cooked casseroles!

We had a very enjoyable dinner. They have a good menu:tapas dishes, salads, pasta, entrees, pizza, drinks, coffee and desserts. We sat inside but they also have outside seating. We started by sharing an eggplant tapas and Caesar salad. Both were very fresh and tasty. For my main dish I had the Penne Primavera with chicken. It was very tasty and loaded with lots of fresh vegetable. My husband had the Pasta with meat sauce. He enjoyed his too. We both had leftovers too. In addition we had very attentive service.

Love this food. The place gets loud, so it's hard to chat with friends on a busy weekend evening. I like the outdoor seating. Pizzas are good, calamari, Brussels sprouts are the BEST around, red sangria is excellent. Servers are friendly & I never feel rushed.

Enjoyed a good meal from Pizzeria Molto. We were immediately seated and provided menus and drink orders were taken. The sangria was absolutely amazing, so much so that we ordered two- very refreshing on a hot summer day. We ordered a hot oil spicy sausage pizza along with a cheese snd prosciutto plate. Both choices were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The staff was quick to take care of us and the ambiance and decor of the place was great. The menu options are plentiful, many small plates along with bigger entree selections. We absolutely love this place it never lets us down. Always a great choice.

We enjoyed the food -- roasted salmon, campagna salad, sano pappardelle -- but service was in necessarily rushed even though our party of 4 was well under the 2 hour time limit on a Friday night. Waiters cleared not only dishes but placemats while others were still eating, removed water glasses, etc.

We went for drinks and stayed for dinner. We decided to order a slew of apps instead of entrees. Superior mussles in a coconut wine sauce. Broccili Rape with the stems removed, wonderful. Great Buffala and Tomatoes with Prosutto and Arugula. Lamb Chops with balsamic glaze. Tuna Tartar. These items were extremely well prepared. They were served quickly and great presentation. We loved it and recommend Molto. Try it. It is not noisy, it is lively.

We were here for a early lunch. It was nice and quiet. We shared the hot oil pizza with pepperoni. The crust was thin and yummy. We probably could have shared another dish but we were going for dessert somewhere else.

We met friends here for dinner on a Saturday night. The outdoor space looks inviting but it was too cool out the night we were there. There's a large bar inside where many people eat as well. We were seated in a booth near the front door. As the restaurant grew more crowded as the tables filled and patrons waited near the bar, the level of noise made it difficult to have a conversation at our table. We all ordered an entree from that evening's specials. Food and drinks were good. Service was ok. Server forgot to bring the one dessert that we ordered.

Favorite for quite a few years but the three visits were disappointing. A month ago we ordered a appetizer that we have ordered since Molto opened it was so spicy it was inedible. Two weeks ago we were the on a Monday night granted it was1/2 off bottles of wine and they were busy we were seated relatively quickly but then 45 minute wait before our order was taken and then 45 minutes until we received a really sub par over cooked bolognese. Tonight great food but asked for a take out order for a family member that has diet restrictions we requested s dinner minus spinach and cheese and was told that it could not be done. We did not ask for anything extra just omit two items and were told that the kitchen would not accommodate this request on a $25 entree. Wait staff has been great but kitchen needs a wake up call

Molto offers a lot to live. We had two huge and delicious salads, and very much enjoyed the chicken parm. Even with a bottle of wine, the price was quite reasonable. Luckily, we were seated in a back corner of the restaurant; the front portion by the long bar was VERY crowded--I suspect it would have felt quite cramped for diners as well as those at the bar. If you need a place with elbow room, Molto might not be for you (at least, not on a Saturday night).

Last visit was before an event so ordered pizza and drinks. Fortunately our timing was right on as we didn't need to wait for a table but within 15 minutes there was a wait. Our server was great - very attentive. Enjoyed our pizza and glasses of wine. Will go back and seek out their dinner menu.

Will never go back! Was told wait was 20 minutes after an hour we left. Saturday nights are busy every where but this place will never get my money again. Would get a zero if possible!

Located in the heart of downtown Fairfield, we decided to give it a try for Valentine's Day dinner. The place is on the small side and was quite crowed as usual. We arrived about a half hour ahead of the crowd so we were promptly seated at a table for two by the front window. Being Italian, the place is normally decorated in red so with the red balloons and hearts added to the red lights, it was quite festive. They had a special holiday menu for the evening. We ordered dinners, a salmon and a veal although the menu also included small plates, salads, pasta dishes and even a special house pizza. When the meals finally arrived, one entree was completely cold so we sent it back to the kitchen to be warmed. It was gone a very long time so by the time it returned, I had almost finished my meal which I had been encouraged to go ahead and eat while it was warm. The salmon I had was good but the serving of both fish and the accompanying risotto and veggie was very small for the price, more like the size a french restaurant would serve. My partner said her veal was rather tough, probably a result of reheating. We also ordered a desert to share, a chocolate molten cake which was very good and on the house because of the food delay. We followed this by a cappuccino and espresso which were quite good. Molto is a very trendy, popular restaurant with the younger crowd in town but we felt it to be pricey and the food only mediocre. We will not return anytime soon.
