This is a really special and unique restaurant. The pizza is baked in a special oven. The menu is creative and the staff is attentive. Enjoy!!

Really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with tables next to an open window and regular dining seating. The ambiance and decor of this place is exceptional. We sat at the bar by the open windows, a great view on a warm pleasant day. I absolutely love their lunch menu. Many different types of specialty pizzas as well as panini sandwiches and plenty of apps and salad choices. We started off with an order of Sangria and we had a chicken parmigiana and meatball parmigiana panini. The Sangria was very refreshing and good. The paninis were very good. Without a doubt we will return for lunch and for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was very good.

We tried 2 different types of pizza. One was with grilled zucchini, fresh ricotta, caramelized onions, crispy pancetta, delicious! The shrimp pizza was disappointing. There were hardly any shrimp. Maybe they took 3 or 4 shrimp and cut them up and placed them on the pizza. Very disappointed. Not worth the price if there are hardly any shrimp. Other pizza varieties looked great. Can't wait to try them. Saw the guys making fresh burrata which was to die for.

Delicious fresh salads, really good pizza (Italy style) with fresh ingredients, nice wines by the glass. Nice ambience, friendly and efficient service. What else is there?

This great spot has a wonderful menu if you're in the mood for pizza. They have a huge brick oven that produces some great, chewy pizza. I am gluten free and instead of the usual frozen crusts that other places use, Brick+Wood makes their own fresh so the pizza comes out chewy instead of cardboard-like. They are a little more expensive that other places in town, but the chance to have gluten free pizza frita or pizza while my family has regular crusts is worth a splurge now and then.

I have been to Brick + Wood many times and I have never been disappointed. My favorite pizza is the margherita and I am excited to try out other pizzas as well. My family takes advantage of the fact that brick + Wood does takeout, we order it at least once a week. Also, I highly recommend the noci salad. The service is always great and the restaurant has a very friendly vibe. I highly recommend visited Brick + Wood.

We are frequent patrons of this outstanding restaurant. We loved the clam pizza on our last visit. It was great!!! We are always struck by the very friendly wait staff. They are always welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful in making food and drink choices. The pizzas are always a great combination of wonderful toppings. Their bread pudding is a great way to end your meal! Love the old traditional choices on menu as well (like Nonna's meatballs). Great ownership!! My highest recommendation for a memorable food experience.

Great place for pizza and other foods. Went there with my wife had to wait 20 minutes but, well worth it. If I had to say one thing it gets crowed and people hold the door open and the drafty cold air come write in the restaurant. Ask for,a table away from the door if possible, and get there early.

Discovered this place by chance after checking out Fairfield theater craft fair and was totally blown away by this fantastic restaurant. The mozzarella and burrata are just out of this world. The "Gumba" pizza was incredible, just an explosion of flavor with soppressata and cherry peppers perfectly complemented by gorgonzola burrata, truly the pizza of my dreams. My wife had the refreshing watermelon salad with burrata that was smooth as silk and eggplant that tasted so authentic it was as if someones old world grandma was crafting the dishes. Cant wait to return, loved it so much!

You can't miss when eating here. Whether you are eating their pizza or panini, everything is always to-notch and fresh. And the desserts are to die for! The thousand layer cannoli cake or the fried zeppole with cannoli cream are outstanding.

Not from the area, but taking a Fairfield Grad out for celebration- so many places were suggested but this was one place she hadn't been- now she's sad she didn't find it sooner. We had three things from the specials menus-peach prosciutto mozzarella, the lobster/vodka sauce pizza and the chocolate chip cookie sea salt bread pudding with Carmel sauce. We also tried the rice balls and fried calamari and shrimp (sounds prettier in Italian, but I don't remember how to spell it) The"street food" was wonderfully seasoned and lightly breaded and fried. The sauces given were also tasty. It was the first time I've had freshly made mozzarella and I loved it. Served with peaches and a peach jam. The graduate studied a semester abroad in Italy and commented on how it reminded her of eating there. It has a lovely outdoor table sitting area and one side of the restaurant had the wall that goes up so that it is an open dining area.(because it's so popular it is a little tight) The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of their products. We wanted to try so many things and had lots of leftovers but I know they won't last long. Wish I lived closer.

Small place but food was delicious - calamari cooked perfectly - shrimp scampi pizza the best - carrot cake bread pudding to die for! service fantastic - suggest going earlier (5-6pm) as it fills up quickly.

I love everything about Brick + Wood. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Love the rustic touches. Especially the pizza oven. The gluten free pizza crust is so light and fluffy that you can't even tell it is gluten free. The toppings are creative and delicious. They are very family friendly!

Visited last weekend for the first time with my 2 picky brothers. Everyone left happy. We ordered 3 pizzas (all 12 inches): Salimino y Funghi; Margherita; and the Meat Trio along with two beers and a coffee. all of us are over 60, and Bennett the waiter put up with our verbal nonsense, and was polite and efficient. The pizzas in a word were great. I even ate my crust. All three were very good. Damages came to $85 with tip and we definitely will return if management puts up with us again.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten! I almost cried the first time eating the crust because I haven't tasted a pizza in 4 years since I was diagnosed and it tasted just like I always remembered. I brought my sister who was diagnosed 3 years ago and she agreed hands down best gluten free. It was so good I have become a regular. An the server Bennett is fantastic, very knowledgeable which I really appreciate being in the restaurant business myself. I highly recommend.

Busy Saturday night, arrived 740, 45 minutes to get a table. Its fast paced, cozying up with your table neighbors. Place has a good vibe, and great food. House salad and Cooper?salad both very good. My eggplant lasagna was also very good, snagged a slice of Wife's gluten-free Margarita pizza, we both liked it a lot. ( GF pizza usually barely passes as pizza, this was good) glass of wine and a cocktail left tab at $75 plus tax & tip, no surely not your bargain pizza joint. We'd go back, i'd pick a quieter night.

Best pizza in town but expect to spend $75-100 for 2 pizzas and carafe of wine and desert! Wine is perfect. The fresh mozzarella is outstanding!
