Got a nice table, food not too spicy even for a Scandinavian palate. Service was fast and friendly .

Our family of 7 was driving through and had just been to the beach. We were hungry and tired and looking for a great meal to get us through the next leg of our trip down to Philadelphia. Our younger kids weren't so sure about the bold flavors and fun extras on their plates, and our server was very accommodating and offered to have the chef make them simple quesadillas and plain tacos. The more mature foodies loved all the yummy and bold flavors and sides. We could have easily eaten three times as many homemade tortilla chips and for the price we expected more, but we were satisfied with the tacos and burgers that were ordered. Our server was fantastic and fun and if we were locals we know we would enjoy eating at Bodega often. We were in just before the dinner hour started so we had the place all to ourselves, so we didn't experience what it's like during a rush, but the service and personal attention we got was perfect.

No self respecting diner with the slightest knowledge of Mexican food would eat here. Service is ok, but the food is bland, unattractively presented and tasteless

My sons and I stopped in for lunch. They got to choose from a variety of tacos, and they both loved their choices. I had a delicious salad. And the guacamole was heavenly.

Great selection of tacos. I enjoyed the pork belly and shrimp ones. Very well done. They have a nice Mexican beer selection if that is your sort of thing. Great place to eat in or out, and relaxed enough to sit back and enjoy. Its walking distance to my office so I enjoy it often. Also - from the times i have been, great staff. They understand the menu and are not afraid to make recommendations.

Creative menu of hand-held small tacos plus sides.and drinks. Simple, made-to-order food is fresh and quick. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Decor feels authentic. Not expensive, great for sharing. And delicioso!

I enjoy coming to this place for lunch. Love the vibe of this place and the staff is always very good. My favorites are the Cubano and the Sangria. They have all sorts of taco options but as I mentioned my favorite is the Cubano. The restaurant is relaxed and the lighting is a bit on the dark side but it is actually perfect. The sangria and specialty drinks are really good although I often go for the Pitcher of Sangria (red) it is very refreshing.

The reason for the three stars are: Expensive small tacos, stating $4.00 each Tacos are not Mexican. They have sushi tacos, and cold tacos. The place is really small and noisy. Not good for couples or dates. The service was lacking. Waiting long for small tacos and they tried to close the bill fast pushing you to leave. Not a place I'll come back.

The restaurant was crowed but there were seats at the bar so we decided to sit at the bar. We were served by Kyle, who was excellent, always had a smile and mixed an awesome drink. Our food was tasteful and well prepared. We certainly wil return and hope Kyle will be our bartender on our next visit.

We went here based on Trip Advisor reviews. We could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. Even mid afternoon on a Saturday almost all the seats were taken (small place). This is always a good sign. The service was fast and very polite. We trusted our servers recommendations and she was spot on. The guacamole with crab and garlic is an amazing appetizer. The Margaritas were delicious but on the smaller size. We got five tacos and the Brussel sprouts. Everything was fresh and delicious. With out a doubt it was the best tasting Mexican food we have had outside of San Diego.

I have to say the food was good...however. My husband and I went in for 'dinner'... had tacos and a drink and it was busy....I don't know what I was expecting but the atmosphere and size of the restaurant leave a lot to be desired. We sat at a high top (no low tables were available) and I just felt it was small, noisy...it had a tinny feel, I cant quite describe it. I think its probably a better choice for lunch or a quick bite, maybe for 'dinner on the go' with the kids or a date. But as I said, the food was very good. It was clean and the service was adequate.

Great, lively lunch spot tucked away in a two story strip mall near the heart of Fairfield and a short walk to the train station, FTC and The Warehouse. The best dish that we had was the Queso Fundido and we added artichoke. Great combination and plenty of cheese. Bodega does not have anything on draft but did have a decent Mexican and non-Mexican beer selection with creative variations of margaritas. Fish tacos do not disappoint and the cubano is a great sandwich for lunch or dinner. The music was fun yet not overwhelming so we could have a conversation without difficulty.

The food, as always, is great! I only wish the space was larger. We were a groupl of 8 and we came early for lunch - they wouldn't give us two tables pushed together they gave us a small add-on table with two stools. It wasn't crowded and to have us squish and draw straws to determine which two had to sit on the stools wasn't great. We would have been better off breaking into two groups and getting the two tables next to each other.

Ordered for a coworkers bday lunch. Everyone was so happy with their choices. Almost the entire menu was covered and no complaints. The brussel sprouts were yummy and the hanger and fish tacos were delish too!!Can't wait to dine in.

Loved the feel of this place! For such a small restaurant they give you the best service, food is excellent, and the bartender Kyle makes amazing margaritas. Will recommend to anyone! Need to stop by

I live in the area have been here several times BUT WILL NOT BE GOING BACK EVER. The host informed us that a couple of tables would be leaving there were only 2 people ahead of us 4 people left the 2 in front of us sat down and we waited for him to get us but he never did someone else got the table . Then 2 more people left so we grab the dirty table. The host came over to us and said that someone was ahead of us . He never told us that we would be waiting for other people to seat from the bar area . He was not at all informative about how long the wait would have been he basically lied that it would be just a few minutes. And really didn't care that we left .

This was one of our favorite spots. Cool interior, nice staff but food quality has slipped. The finesse has gone; it's pump it out. Still packs them in. If you're a tequila drinker be prepared to layout serious cash. Better off with the daily shot special for $5 (1oz).

Host actually disagreed on how long he said it would be and kept disagreeing. So rude. Can't tell you how the food is because after being told we had a fifteen to twenty minute wait, we waited forty five minutes, waited patiently and after asked how much longer because it had been way past twenty minutes and we had come early as to not to rush to an event we had. The host did not care one bit. He was smug and unapologetic, dark haired man. Owner beware, I won't be recommending this place and wouldn't dare have this man greeting my guests.
