Stephen King's novel "The Shining"...yeah, this place is so haunted that it was his inspiration for the book

We visited Steamers Cafe for a quick latte and cookie during our brief visit to the Stanley. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and patient even with a crowd waiting in line. The triple chocolate macadamia nut cookie was divine. While our experience was brief, the fine service encouraged us to visit the Stanley again in the future hopefully with a stay at the hotel.

We enjoyed a little dinner with adequate service and a rather disappointing meal. Went there for our first night only because we were too tired to go into town.

Such a treat to dine at Steamers. Beautiful old decor, inviting atmosphere and the food was fabulous. Great presentation and exceptional service. Highly recommend spending a bit more money here for a great meal!

amazing place to take a break, have some coffee, and some of the wonderful baked good, pick a seat, take off your coat, let the kids, go to the bathroom, dad, can wear his hat, its just that way, don't miss this little café, on the right as you walk up the hill to the Stanley, white door, can't miss it! then head up the stairs to the hotel, it is amazing! don't forget to stop in the cute little gift shop, lots to choose from! check out the Steamer display, and the Cascades Restaurant, take the tour, and see 'the shining' in person! have fun!

I am a scone fanatic and was disappointed that they had none. There were some good breakfast choices but no pastries. I settled for a pnut butter brownie which was quite decadent and the lady who waited on me was very pleasant and helpful in explaining many of the food items.

I recently had the priviledge of visiting the Stanley Hotel. While there I wanted to get a hot chocolate from Steamers Cafe but they were closing. Their machines had already been cleaned but they were willing to not only make the drink for me but refused money for it. Above and beyond for customer service and really taking care of people. I would particularly like to mention Jim and Whitney - they were wonderful!

Stopped in here in the AM while staying at the Stanley Hotel, Coffee was hot & delicious & they had a good assortment of items for breakfast & to take with you as you head out to explore. In the afternoon they have a wonderful selection of delicious ice cream too!

The Steamers Cafe has Delicious Apple Turnover, when it was delivered to our table the waiter asked if we would like whip cream on top. I answered could you put a cherry on top. At first he said they did not have cherry's to put on top but they did have Cherry Turnovers. When my Apple Turnover came with whip cream it did have cherry's that were used in the turnovers on top. Great Service. We also adopted Stanley The Ghost from this Cafe.

The owner does great with variety! Good coffee and espresso: choices and FRESH candies delivered and mad by a local woman: Yummy truffle chocolate brittles. The high school lad, Kasili who works there is awesome!! Also, great souvenirs from ghost tours and Stanley excursions can be purchased here!! We love the Stanley as it is almost in our backyard and we visit often!!

PROS - the food was pretty good. CONS - the portion was so small we all left starving. We had large group split up and the Waiter could not divide up the check so it was a mess trying to do that ourselves. Waiter never asked if we wanted an appetizer or salad. For $40-50+ per plate I expected much more and the waiter should have done what it took to split up the check.

Had the Cuban sandwich which was very tasty. Love the thin french fries. Used the coin (5 dollars off lunch) they give you at the gate to offset the ten dollars to park. It was a beautiful day and the hotel was beautiful.

I had breakfast here one morning with my husband and his brother. We all enjoyed our food and the chicken sausage was really outstanding. For me they even provided Udi's gluten free bread and the fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious.

Had coffee and blueberry muffins two mornings in a row. The blueberry muffins were outstanding! Moist and sweet and went well with the coffee.

The setting is the historic Stanley Hotel in the heart of Estes Park. The menu is standard American fare. Given its location prices are reasonable. Each of us ordered something different and we were all pleased. We will return.
