Good congee, somewhat limited menu. Expected more sushi. It was really loud the night we were in, but it was a Saturday...

Great raw food and cooked seafood alike! Try the oysters and maybe the raw sea urchin if you feel adventurous!

Whenever I see mussels on a menu, I order them as moules-frites. Mostly both are good sometimes one or the other. Here the moules were tired, their sauce lacked flavor while the fries were zippy and tasty. The moules were at the end of their schedule. The light broth did not perk them up. Next time I hope to hit a mussel order that is current to do the fries justice.

If you come you really should order from the Fresh Fish Bar their oysters are spectacular and everything they serve is really excellent and their bartender is very sensitive and very creative so it's really worth the visit put aside your fears of raw fish and come and enjoy

It was peak time when we arrived and have to wait for our table but it was worth the wait! All our orders are excellently prepared! (sorry I don't have photos...) Don't forget to order their fresh oysters and uni as it is really heavenly! Our drinks our insanely good. We ordered Margarita and a bottle of Sake.

My husband and I took our son and his friends to lunch on a weekend. Were concerned that it might be too crowded, so went as soon as it opened. Turns out, we were the first ones there and we were seated immediately. My husband ordered a flight of sakes. Although they each tasted very differently, every one was delicious. The menu was varied and everyone ordered a favorite. We did not realize the food would be served family style, but we really enjoyed sampling the variety of dishes. I honestly could not decide which was the best because everything was so tasty. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel, but there is a parking garage beneath the restaurant and parking is free with your paid receipt. Can't wait to go back and eat there again!

Especially in the happy hour A beautiful place with a nice bar. Try the oysters. Each one costs 1$ in the happy hour.

If you like good, fresh raw oysters and a cold brew, this is the place for you. Located in Ktown I recommend the happy hour menu to save a few bucks and have some great food. We had a couple of dozen oysters ( at $1 each) that were really fresh. Almost every raw oyster joint that I have been to has a few good oysters and a couple that are just so-so. Out of the roughly 2 dozen that we had I think I only had one or two oysters that were sub par. Not a bad percentage. We also had the pork belly and seared fish tacos, both of which were delicious. We arrived around 4pm when Happy Hour started, got a good parking space and had great service.

Fresh raw seafood of every kind. Before 7 pm oysters on the half shell are $1.00 and good house wine and beer (many kinds on tap) $5.00. Gets loud, but the sounds are all happy.

It's hard to review when it comes to seafood especially in LA. I am spoiled in my hometown but this place is conveniently located in the heart of Ktown and offers variety of options. Oyster was fresh and their uni pasta was pretty flavorful, Price is somewhat mid range. Not bad to grab a quick bite or casual dining.

We got there right before 4p on a Saturday afternoon to a pretty empty restaurant and it was full 30 min later. Our server was great, room temp waters (cold day) served 2 seconds after we were seated. There are plenty of good food on the menu to choose from. We ordered a garlic pasta, crispy soft shell crab sliders, crispy brussel sprouts, black pepper beef mignon. Since it was nearing happy hour (4-7), our server told us to wait to order oyster ($1 oyster during HH). All of the food was great. The seafood was fresh and the food was excellent. Besides the oysters, the beef mignon and the soft shell crab sliders stood out to us.

Our server was outstanding. She was intelligent, helpful, and attentive. Specialty of this place would be oysters, One member of our party had oysters and loved them. Crab rolls, shrimp rolls and lobster rolls are pretty good. (small but good) This is good seafood and portions are reasonable.

We had a special dinner here to celebrate my daughter's white coat ceremony. There are no reservations so we got there at 4:pm to ensure seating for a party of seven The happy hour featured beers and house wine for $5 and oysters for $1 a piece. Lovely fresh oysters-- so delicious!! A meal in itself. Also recommend the garlic noodles or uni noodles. The soft shell crab sliders were also good. If you like oysters, this is the way to go. You can make a meal in itself with a dozen oysters and garlic noodle, cold beer!! Can't wait to return When we left around 6:00 pm, long lines waiting to get seated.

I really want to give it 3 stars until happy hour kicks in then it is 4 stars. Clean. Somewhat trendy. Young. We were seated with insufficient amount of menus. We were not told there was a late happy hour after 10 pm. We arrived around 9:45. We may have changed our choices. We ordered salmon and squid carpaccio. Both were over drenched with sauce. And yet did not have much flavor. Prices for theses were around $12. Also ordered the tuna tartare. Around $14. Flavor profile equaled somewhat bland. Looked nice. Starved afterwards. Once happy hour kicked in we received a happy hour menu. Some of the prices were no different at all. Some were much better. They had $1.50 oysters. (4pm-7pm they have $1 oysters). I highly recommend going to happy hour . Oysters were served with a couple of sauce options. Fresh. Yum. Had I know in advance about this would have just dined on the oysters. Oh yes we also order seafood fried rice. Very nice. Had shrimp, salmon, scallions, ginger etc. enjoyed it a lot. Zucchini fries were less than memorable.

Santa Barbara fresh uni is world class, better than most I've tried in Japan and elsewhere. Uni is super fresh a great value. Better than the Redondo Beach seafood market. Just take off a star as the pasta was not perfectly al sent, but still great dinner.

We went there for a nightcap and ended up having the oyster late night special - reasonably priced oysters (chef's choice) and other items are on the bar menu. On a Wednesday night a very popular and busy place, great vibe, nice bartender, good cocktails. Oyster were o.k. but a bit bland - probably better if you go for the more expensive varieties. Would come back for dinner.

Doing a Google search for restaurants close to the hotel we were staying at showed this one. We walked in and it was busy! The hostesses were friendly and seated us promptly. Our waitress was smiling and friendly and answered all of our questions without missing a beat! 😊The menu was a single page but more than enough to satisfy! The food was excellent! My shrimp tacos were delicious with the shrimp grilled to perfection! My daughter had fresh oysters and she said they were the best she had ever tasted! She even convinced me to try one and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it tasted! Drinks were interesting and we sampled a couple of their cocktails which were very tasty as well. Highly recommended for good fresh tasting seafood.

Came in around midnight on a Thursday and was quite busy. For the price, quality of food, and service - this place definitely can't be beat. Had the oysters, fish tacos, Brussel sprouts, and chicken wings. All were delicious!

In Korea town this is a local place with a lot of young professional clients. We ordered a Chardonnay, a Pinot, crab cake sliders, sashimi, fries, oysters, zucchini, branzino, uni pasta and 2 lobsters. Everything delicious. Reasonably priced. Our server Alex was exceptional. Highly intelligent and well-traveled.
