You have to have their signature dish! It is the best in town. Clean, friendly, and fun. A must go for anyone who loves food.

We knew we had to try Khao Soi while in Chiang Mai but didn't know where to go. Luckily we ran into some locals and they said this is the place to go. It's a little far out but still an easy taxi ride. We had the pork and beef Khao Soi, spring rolls and chicken skewers. Everything was delicious and one of my best drinks too the Lychee smoothie. We tried the other Khao Soi restaurant near the North gate but it wasn't as good, so for our last meal we went back again for more.

The rich, fragrant and spicy broth combined with slippery noodles and the crunch of fried noodles makes for one hell-of-an experience. Aromatic and intense. This bowl was completely worth the taxi ride for. Next time though, I probably wouldn't choose the pork ribs. There wasn't much meat on them, but the soup is the main star.

Decided to go here after I read a New York Times article about the chef from Pok Pok in Portland... This is one of his favorite places, and oh wow, was it delicious! I was the only tourist there; it was packed with locals. Easy to miss because it's a very unpretentious roadside restaurant. The kitchen is right on the street, with seating behind. Definitely worth riding over or getting a taxi. Super cheap, so go hungry and order everything!

Best Khao Soi in Chiangmai, 'must eat' food. It is served with chicken or beef or duck. It is a typical non air-conditioned food shop . The cooking is done at the entrance so you can see how Khao Soi is prepared. The location is not easy to find.

There's nowhere better in Chiang Mai than Khao Soi Lam Duan to try the region's curried noodle soup. The friendly staff house cat make for lovely company to go along with your meal.

Had a delicious inexpensive authentic Chiang Mai meal for lunch. Had chicken and a beef curry noodle soups, slightly spicy in a rich broth. Also enjoyed fried pumpkin. Fried shrimp less so. A nice food adventure.

This restaurant is very popular for both locals and tourists. Noodles with pork, pork ball, chicken and beef. It's mild spicy. All foreigners should come to try at this restaurant. It's always crowded. You should come a little bit before noon. No nice view and fast service.

Stopped by the khao soi shop to try their famed noodles. Loved the flavourful soup and the lean meat slices that came with it! Courteous, prompt service too.

BEST khao soi ever. Family owned and operated. Also can find them in the Central Festival Mall basement food court. Order the pork khao soi and pork satay with peanut sauce. Comes with limes to squeeze over the top, and enjoy the side of cucumber salad. Soooo satisfying !

The best Khao soi in Chiang Mai, particularly the beef khao soi! We love it so much we went back twice during our short stay! Great texture with the combination of soft and crispy noodles, the aromatic, flavourful, mildly spicy broth, and the tender beef brisket are just perfect and we simply just can't get enough of! We tried chicken, pork and beef khao soi, and we liked them all, but we are blown away by the beef khao soi. Definitely a must try in Chiang Mai!

We make a point of coming here each time we visit Chiang Mai, and the food is as good as ever. My husband adores the pork version and raves about the "ancient style" cha yen. This trip we didn't make it until our last day, as when we first arrived I insisted on Samoe Jai to get my fix of young jackfruit salad - it wasn't till we thought we might run out of time and miss it that we realised just how much we love Lamduan. They did a slightly watered down version for our son and it was also quite okay, although nowhere close to the standard spicy version. They also have N Thai sausages and you can order khanom jeen nam ngiaw, which we tasted and that I'd say is not the best in town (just a very good version). But the khao soi... Not enough superlatives.

While it's a bit out of the way, this is the best khao soi you will find in Chiang Mai. We went with locals who also said best place to go...and it didn't disappoint!

I always want to try some local and authentic delicacies so my Thai friend also strongly recommends it and thinks it's the must-try in Chiang Mai! The location of the restaurant is a bit far from the old town actually, but it's worth it. I like the noodle in particular, which is difficult to find anywhere else!

Came to this place on a recommendation from a Washington DC Thai chef. It was a bit of a walk from the old city, but totally worth it. The Khao Soi of course was spectacular! The price was right, the service was great.

Saw this restaurant on Anthony Bourdain's list for great Khao Soi. Best that we had in Chiang Mai! Out of the way to get to. Hire a Tuk Tuk or taxi. Well worth it and so cheap!!!

Everything at Khao Soi Lamduan is delicious! Of course the Khao Soi is a must have. We also tried the Kanom Thuay which by appearances I would not have gotten but I wanted it every morning for the rest of the trip after trying this. Sai Oua, Sticky Rice & Pork Satay all great!
