I took my 2 nephews here for a local dessert called "halo-halo" after having early dinner at a nearby restaurant. Normally, I don't rave too much about eating this dessert, but I must in this case. Talk about NOT holding back in miscellaneous ingredients (find out for yourself) atop an ice cream mound. I could not help but truly enjoy each spoonful of this heavenly dessert. If ever you are in the area, this dessert is a must have. At first, I was getting vexed of having to wait a long time just to receive a simple order; after having several spoonfuls, I see why "good tastes come to those who wait". I don't claim to be a halo-halo connoisseur, but after this delightful experience, I'm going to voice an opinion via my vote ..... 2 thumbs up indeed! We hope to return soonest.

We just dropped by to have a last minute dinner plan. The food was good but more on a pricey side. We might go back.

This restaurant is located inside a mall, lunch time was busy. The food was great but a little pricey. It looked like it was a themed restaurant because it featured ethnic wall frames, even the servers' names sounded ethnic. No need to call for a reservation, walk in and grab a seat. I highly recommend this place.

Crisostomo Restaurant 2nd floor, Resort World Newport City, Philippines 02 846 4275 Located on the 2nd floor at this smart and stylish Resort World at Newport City, this restaurant is an achievement of a lady who had no formal training or culinary schooling of any sort. However, thru her resourcefulness and motivation, she was able to interpret her desire into a chain of restaurants around Manila and suburbs. Her generous list of options awakens the diners fancy for its rich Filipino comfort foods, most of them with Spanish inspiration. Although prepared in a refined style, it still drew its strong appeal from Filipino cuisine. They have extensive menus manifested with names of the characters of the book “Noli me Tangere” authored by a Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Try their appetizer picked from the site where our National hero was executed “Bagumbayan Lechon” Dishes are well-seasoned, well presented, flavorful and scrumptious. Relax for a special halo-halo dessert that would positively put a beam of a smile on your face instead of a smirk. Double-up your smile when you hit the jackpot at the casino downstairs. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and you can opt out for outdoor seating with a minor annoyance of shoppers and gamblers passing. The tables are close to each other, and sometimes big talks are frequently inescapable. It is a friendly place to have lunch or dinner linked with their timely and gracious service. Prices vary from mid to high end. May 2017

That famous name Crisostomo! The concept of this restaurant is like in the Spanish era where the chairs and table together with the painting is Filipino Spanish decoration. The Food is actually taste good, a true filipino-spanish cuisine. Located at Resorts World Manila. A must taste food. Very good ambiance.

Wasn't looking for a full meal but wanted to sample some local cuisine and this place ticked all the boxes. The food was excellent quality and the variety of choices made it difficult to just have a light meal! The clams and prawns in garlic were my favourite.

The restaurants have good food. Not so many people were eating when we got there. Some of their food prices are more expensive than normal. They have different food title when the waiter got our order. Three dessert came late, we never had them. The customer service is average. Good place to try Filipino foods.

Have some delicious Filipino cuisine and learn a little about Jose Rizal's writings. The service was great and always a warm Filipino smile to boot. Make reservations as it is VERY POPULAR with the locals too.

I loved their Isaw (grilled chicken intestines) and fried Tilapia. Their Kare-kare (oxtail in peanut sauce) was so good. The meat was tasty and very tender.

Not really my thing but the rest of my group being Pinay loved it. Lots of local well cooked food. The restaurant is busy and vibrant from a well known brand. Located in a busy eating area of the Mall. Staff are helpful and professional clean and tidy. You need to know analogue to understand the best of the menu.

My family with my cousins from CA, USA treated me for a birthday lunch here and it was my first time to try Crisostomo. They didn't fail my expectations with my favorite dish, Lengua! They also have some grilled meal platters which was perfect for us. Their dalandan juice is refreshing and their dirty ice cream is really worth coming back for! They even gave me another cup as my birthday gift :) Just expect that the place is always crowded and hhmmm quite noisy. Staff were attentive and fast but needed more smiling to do. Quite pricey for ordinary casual lunch but worth it for special occasions like birthdays.

Crisostomo is one fine resto offering the local cuisine with some regional (Kapampangan) dent. Presentation if appealing to tourist, and menu is intensive with pictures. Tourist would just need ot be adventurous to taste the local cuisine.
