We ate here after a bit of research and looking at the reviews. It's on the pricey side but has a romantic atmosphere and the food was very nice. The house red is very nice and given the price is well worth it. We went early (6pm) and managed to get a table but others were turned away. Definitely worth booking ahead!

We hadn’t reserved a table, but the staff were very helpful and after about a 10 minute wait, we were seated. Waiter was very friendly and happy, despite it being very busy. We had pizza (when in Italy)and they were excellent - the beers were good too. Reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone looking for an evening meal in a nice location.

Given the great reviews Rosa Rosa has we tried to get a table one evening but it was full. We booked a table for the following evening. We ordered a bottle of prosecco which was very nice, I had the veggie ravioli which was tasty but only 3 pieces, I could have really done with another one at least and I'm not a massive eater! My wife had the Spaghetti alle Vongole which looked good but was just a bit bland and tasteless! We shared an amaretto dessert which was okay but could have done with a bit more flavour. Overall not bad, the venue is nice, it always seems busy, that maybe due to the 50% deals available via but we won't really rush back.

Myself and the wife visited Rosa Rossa based on reviews of tripadvisor. We were greeted and seated and then left to look at menus. We ordered a bottle of wine, table water, carpaccio, calzone, prawn tagliatelle and a couple of sides. All in all cost just under €100. All the food was really nice and the service was very good, not rushed and we were allowed time to drink our wine after finishing our meals. I would recommend this place to others no problems.

I enjoy going for a meal where I feel I've had something I could never cook. That was tonight. Great ambience, service and food. Would love to go again, but only one night left and another restaurant booked.

Great affordable food - also recommended for families. They have pizza but also typical regional cusine.

We are very happy we visited this restaurant. We liked the ambiance, the way the staff welcomed us and last but not least, the food ! We stayed 5 days in Venice and every time we have eaten here very well. The owners are doing an excellent job and are motivated. We travel a lot and we feel and taste that. The food and drinks have a correct price. Before leaving, the last night, I told the owner I regret that we don't have a similar Italian restaurant in Antwerp !!

I've been fortunate enough to eat in many fine restaurants on the East Coast of the United States as well as the Southwest and the West Coast. I've enjoyed food in Paris, Prague and multiple Italian cities. Rosa Rossa certainly ranks high on my list of quality restaurants. The ingredients were fresh and each dish was prepared by a Chef who knows his way around the kitchen. From appetizers to pizza to full course entrees, the recipes were delicious, creative and beautifully presented. Even though they were very busy, we never felt rushed or neglected. The wait staff is top notch and friendly. Our table was ours until we were ready to leave. My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I dined at Rosa Rossa twice while we were visiting Venice. I recommend making a reservation so you aren't disappointed because, like I said, the management isn't interested in turning over your table until you ask for the check and are ready to leave. Don't hesitate to order the house wine. It was very good. Exceptional Dining ~ Great Service ~ Lovely Atmosphere!

Simple food done well. I went at lunch time and the staff were helpful, polite and courteous. The manager even took money off the bill because I ordered too much wine, not realising how much there was. I preferred the spinach and ricotta tortellini and it was delicious. I highly recommend.

Good pizza and good red wine (wine of the house). If you are close to San’t Angelo station it’s a good place to have a dinner with good price.

We loved this restaurant and ate there twice during our visit. It can get busy so would recommend calling or visiting to book a table in advance. When we arrived, our table was ready with our name written on a card and we walked straight in both nights. Our food was very good on both nights (slightly better perhaps on the Tuesday night, even though they seemed busier that night, but we may just have ordered less well the second night) and they even gave us complimentary espressos on our first visit. House wine was great too. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed both visits.... certainly our favourite restaurant in Venice and we would go back again.

Arrived fairly late at this restaurant, and it was full. But we still waited about 15 minutes in the entrance before anyone acknowledged us and told us about the waiting time. When we got to our table, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice so our expectations were high. The service in general was very slow and not friendly. Ordered 2 pizza, my other half's one was missing toppings, and mine had blue cheese on instead of another cheese as per the menu. Of course the waiters didn't tell us about it, so tried to sneak it past us. They never asked how was the food, or if we enjoyed it. Clearly don't care ! And overall the food was below average compared to what we had during our stay. Would not recommend this place and will not be back !

We had a dinner at Rosa Rossa following a recommendation from our tour guide. The place was very touristy, food was ok, deserts were not great. The beef was nice but the rest was disappointing. It was close to our hotel though.

We didn't have reservations but were quickly seated at the outdoor tables. The seafood pasta was excellent!

I had dinner at the Rosa Rossa on 4 October 2017. The first plus about the restaurant is that they actually responded to my email and gave me a reservation (other Venice restaurants had either ignored my email or not provided an email booking facility). The staff were very pleasant. The food was very tasty and was obviously properly prepared and cooked. We had the house wine which was fine. We also thought the restaurant good value for money. Not cheap by international standards, but excellent for Venice where one often pays a lot of money for highly indifferent food.

Popped in here one evening by chance and they managed to find us a table although it was full! Friendly service and very nice food. Pizza was one of the nicest we had in Italy and the vegetarian ravioli was delicious!! Would definitely recommend but maybe book to be sure of a table.

We ate here last night, told it would be at least 30min wait but we got a table after 10. The scallops were beautiful, went well with our wine and pizza. Took left over pizza home. I would highly recommend to anyone.

We were in Venice for three nights, staying near the Teatro La Fenice (famous Venice Opera House). The city is filled with basic Italian restaurants simply looking to fill tables by catering to cruise ship visitors and tour groups, which is great, but not for us. We spent the day walking all over the area and were immediately attracted to the tasteful, modern, chic decor in a welcoming, warm environment. We asked for table a few hours later and they put our name down. When we returned, we were promptly seated near the bar. Drinks and starters were ordered. Before they arrived, a lady came over to reposition the table cloth / runner for proper diagonal orientation. A few moments later she placed a discreet "reserved" card with our name on it. Immediately, it was apparent this was NOT a place that just wanted to jam in as many people as possible, collect their money and push them out. We ordered a margherita pizza and the octopus salad. Beautiful presentation with vibrant, mouth-watering colors and texture. Asked for chili flakes or hot oil and was given a large bottle of chili infused olive oil. WOW, WOW, WOW! The food was already incredible, but the addition of the hot oil to the pizza took it way above. Turns out, like nearly everything the restaurant serves, the hot oil is made in-house. Delicious! After dinner, we had home made desserts...again fantastic! We chatted with the lady who had been attending to us earlier - Francesca and she was wonderful, friendly and extremely focused on everything being perfect and efficient. We've been eating at numerous restaurants in Italy for a week and this was not the way other places operate. We were so pleased with the quality of food, attention to detail, value for our money, the decor, and the welcoming warmth, that we went back for dinner the next night. Everything was perfect, fast, friendly and delicious. Could not ask for better! We sincerely thank the staff and owners (especially Francesca) of Rosa Rossa for a wonderful experience! This restaurant has gone into our "All Time Favorites" category. Will definitely dine here on our next visit.

This is a very popular restaurant. I suggest a reservation, they are just that good! The food and service were great. Reasonable prices. Beautiful atmosphere. When I am back in Venice, I will go again.
