Very good and tasty food, great wine, relaxed atmosphere for Sunday's lunch. A local restaurant, to enjoy the Italian cuisine. Recommended

With so many restaurant to chose from I ended up in spaccanapoli an important name and lovely memories of a city which shared with this establishment only the name. The service is distracted, not bothered. There's no love in the food, the presentation and the service. My fritto misto tasted just as if it was coming out of the freezer. The anchovies filled with mozzarella (since when???) tasted vile. Even the salad was limp! The price tag more than it's worth. You'd better eat at home!

I went to the restaurant woth my partner in May. We both were very hungry but didn't want to eat take away but enjoy time in a restaurant. We found this place around 8pm which wasn't very busy at all. We spoke to the local people and they highly recommended that place. We were pretty confused about the menu because it was written italien only. Our waiter tried to help us and explain a lot, but he didn't speak English fluently. Finally we knew what we want and we get even more. We were nicely surprised about the food quality and size as well! Additionally, we didn't have to wait a long time to get the food. It was a lovely evening. I'd love to come back there!

Wow wow wow! Best crab Linguine ever! I can now leave Rome a contented person. Thanks for such great service too! This wasnt on the menu and the Chef made it for me, and was relatively cheap. Maybe they have only on certain days only. Ok my story...i travel quite a bit so have been very lucky and blessed to eat in many places around the world. Best pasta dish i had was actually in Vietnam of all place, and yes was a crab Linguine dish. Ever since then i have always tried to have this dish which ever city i visited. Last days in Rome and haven't found the 'holy dish'. Walking around local suburb, by chance i stumbled across this treasure. It is by far a treasure. Travellers, this place should be your top place to go! Honestly...you really havent tasted real italian food until you try this hidden treasure. Just superb!

This place was recommended to my group of 6 by our Vatican tour guide after a long day of visiting the museums, etc. It is not that close to Vatican City, but it was in our guide's neighborhood. She very graciously led us on a short excursion via the Rome metro. The food, ambiance, wine, good friends, laughter, etc made for a wonderful evening. The waiter, who our guide knew personally, was quite the character and very entertaining. He even brought everyone home made lemoncello at the end of the meal, compliments of the house. Highly recommended.

Poor fried appetizers, long wait with a random service at tables. Expensive. I would not suggest it for a dinner.

This is a restaurant based on Naple's cuisine. Everything has really really good taste: all the antipasti, especially the typical fried ones. The "mozzarella di bufala" is, perhaps, a bit too expensive. Both pizza's and cooked dishes are delicious. Try the friarielli: you can it only in Naple, and they are super!. You should arrive at the end with a little space for the Caprese cake: you cannot miss it! and, of course the little chocolate-glass full of limoncello! If you do not drink alchohlic, you can ask with whipped cream. You can book your table at 20:00 or 21:30. You really need for the second round: the restaurant at that moment id really too full. Sometimes, too much, affecting the good quality of the evening: the table are really too near each other, no-one can move easily nad the noise starts to be too loud. For this reason, not really indicate for a romantic dinner.

The server recommend a starter made locally. It was a selection of a fried cheese, a pumpkin flower stuffed with fish, a bread roll stuffed with cheese and sauce, and a ricotta pastry. We split a pizza and had plenty of room for dessert. Free wifi.
