A SUPER WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. With only 1 1/2 days between cruise & flight home we booked this 3 hour tour; so glad we did. Our guide was great and we got to see most of the major sites in an afternoon. Book this tour before you leave for Rome, you'll be glad you did.

This tour was awesome! We got to experience the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon and Vatican City in a small, semi private group which made the experience that much better! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and kept the entire day so exciting. It is a lot of walking, so wear your comfy shoes! Highly recommend this tour to any new traveler in Rome wanting to experience the biggest sites in Rome!

We went to their place along the Appian Way and mage pizzas and pasta along with drinking wine and great conversation. Nice to get out of Rome for a night. Support easy to get to. They meet us at the end of the blue line and drive is the rest of the way. Highly recommended for a change from sightseeing.

We had a fabulous time making pasta and eating it along with a delicious tiramisu. The whole experience was amazing. The hosts were awesome, and very patient with us. The venue was an old italian home with paintings by the hosts ancestors. The pasta was the best we ate on our whole trip and we can't wait to try it ourselves now we are home! The only negative was that we did not get to see much of the market because it was a Sunday.

We had a wonderful afternoon and evening pizza and pasta class with chef Guiseppe in his garden and kitchen in April. So nice and relaxing to get out of busy Rome, and also our teenage daughters saw this as the highlight of our Roman holiday. We made beautiful pizza and learnt how to prepare the dough and new ways to top the pizzas (we have used these ideas many times at home). And the pasta making was very fun, many new shapes for us, and very tasty sauces. Especially the pizza was the most delicious we have ever had - wonderful. Recommended!!!

Valentina Amato of "Once in Rome" was among the most knowledgeable persons of Roman archeology, history, religion, and culture. For the inquisitive traveler, who want to delve beneath the travel books, Valentina if a most worthwhile guide.

My friends and I attended a pasta making class and it was excellent. We really enjoyed learning about Italian cooking traditions and actually getting the opportunity to make the past ourselves. The highlight was of course getting to taste what we had made, together with the bonus of wine and dessert prepared by our lovely host.

My wife and I went on the Pizza and Pasta making combined class. It was absolutely amazing. We learned to make pizza from scratch, learned about pasta shapes, and how to make many different shapes. all in all extremely enjoyable

I love the memory. The Chef Giuseppe and and Elysse and Paola were great! The class was fun and the final meal was fantastic and then wow the dessert! The evening was truly one of my favorite memories of Rome! I highly recommend without any hesitation if you want a foodie memory of a life time! Wish I had the recipes for the pasta, sauces and tiramiusu!

Giuseppe picked us up from the metro station and drove us to his new place in the country. In the late afternoon sun, it was fantastic to balance our week of sight seeing and sunbathing with something different. We had a great time with Giuseppe making pasta from scratch, preparing our pizzas and putting them in/taking them out of the pizza oven. We then ate our home made pasta, followed by a desert (the only thing we didn't make). Our daughter is 11 years old and has already made pasta since we got home, and we've recommended to our friends!

We didn't enjoy the pasta & pizza class. The basics were not good (very cheap and not delicious). We did not do the pizza dough and unfortunately the lunch was not delicious either.😥

The original pasta making course was changed to a pizza and pasta combi class. We were a small group of 6 people and were taken to a super beautiful garden close to BVia Appia. Guiseppe and his wive showed a real passion for pizza and pasta and we had so much fun and learnt a ton with this cool experience. Not even the rain could stop us since the pavillion was protecting us just nicely. Make sure to do this!

What a great day with Valintina!! Incredibly knowledgeable and able to get us into the middle or the front of every exhibit. We had a extraordinary day with her and would definitely recommend Once in Rome to all of our friends and family. We will definitely use them again next time. Steven and Marcos

Visited Rome with my wife and mother-in-law in April and spent one afternoon here making delicious pizza and pasta. We were picked up from the station and dropped back off straight after. Would highly recommend for those visiting Rome for three days or more. If we were to return to Rome, we would definitely book again.

We spent an afternoon with Giuseppe learning to make, making, and eating pizza. I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life, but I never really knew how it was made or how to make it. We learned it all. Giuseppe picked us up at the metro stop and drove us to his house. Where we made it from scratch, and ate it (way too much). We had a great dinner with wine and desert. There are many pizza making tours - this one is worth the time and money.

Such an amazing tour. The tour guides were both very friendly. We did one tour in rome and one in the vatican. Both tour guides knew so much and were very optimistic.

My husband and I had an excellent pasta making class at Giuseppe's home. We learned a lot and the final product was delicious! The metro station where we were picked up was easy to find, and we got several great restaurant recommendations from Giuseppe and his wife. We've been to Rome many times before, but this is a highlight.

In our experience, my husband and I met up with our pasta making guide Elyssia, who took us through the Italian market to learn about fresh pasta making ingredients, and then she walked us to the beautiful Italian Villa of Paola, built in the 15th century. The two ladies taught my husband and I all the ins and outs of Italian pasta and sauce making, and instilled in us a new appreciation and passion for Italian cuisine. There is nothing like homemade pasta made with fresh ingredients. After eating until we thought we would pop, Paola offered us some of her homemade Italian tirimisu.. which there is always room left over for. This was a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget. The fresh tastes and ingredients were unparalleled, and Elyssia and Paola treated us like family while we were there. I would recommend this experience to anybody!
