We were staying nearby and decided to eat dinner here on our second night in Rome. The food was wonderful and the service some the best we found in Italy. There was a great atmosphere there and they did little things to add the the experience....for example giving you a drink while you wait for the table. But in Italy it all comes down to the food and all of us had such a good experience that we decided to eat there a second night. Same result.....great food and service. As I of the best we had in our 16 days in Italy

With all the good reviews we had higher hope for this place. Don't get me wrong food was fine but nothing special.

Delighted to have found this gem in Rome. Had some wonderful bruschetta and delicious pasta. We were very well treated by all the staff and special thanks to Federica and Sara.

Cantina and Cucina was excellent! The food was delicious! Try the Roman artichoke! And the charcuterie and cheese platter was over the top! Pasta was so fresh and fabulous. The neighbourhood is upbeat and lively; so much fun! And to top it all off, the service was extraordinary! Donate served us quickly, made wonderful suggestions, and was so charming! He thoroughly added to our experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

We passed this place earlier in the day and noticed the large queue for lunch. Having then looked at the reviews we thought we would check it out ourselves. Fortunately we got a table very quickly and have to say it was delicious. I would stick to the pasta and the specials if I returned. The chicken main was amazing!

This restaurant is good. We tried many of their dishes. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that I felt that we had to finish your dishes early and leave. They are so busy, so in their own way, they were asking if everything is ok or something, in a way they were saying, if you finish take the road so we can serve more customers. Every customer deserves his peace and quiet when he eats and he must always stay as long as he wants. If you want your peace and quiet, eat somewhere else. And I don't like the fact that they are asking for a review with their name on trip advisor. A good restaurant will climb the latter of success without asking for it.

This is not a fancy place; but the food and ambiance of the restaurant is really nice. Even though their customers are mostly tourist, they are not like most of restaurants in rome (which are completely tourist trap). We had lasagne, pizza, artichokes, parmigiana melanzane.. they were all great. Prices were also good. Definitely recommended. There are also other good restaurants nearby, if this one is full.

We chose this spot based on TA reviews, and it didn't disappoint! The service was great, and the food even better! Reasonable prices, nice menu and cozy ambiance. Try for a table at the window!! The risotto was spectacular!!

We found this restaurant using TripAdvisor trying to find the best lasagna and it did not disappoint. Only down side is it is very small and due to the queue (this has to be a good thing though?!) and the staff seeming to be running around it felt a bit rushed. But was still great and very reasonable priced.

This isn't the place if you are looking for gourmet food, but if you want simple but perfectly executed classics then it's brilliant. We had the Saltimbocca and the chicken cacciatore, and both were really good. Also worth noting that the house red wine was perfectly good, and reasonably priced for the centre of a big city

Nice place with good service and lovely home made pasta. Salad and pizza was average. I was expecting something of amazing after reading the reviews. If I'll go back again that would be for pasta only.

Lasagna was great with home made pasta. Very popular place with lively atmosphere and good prices. There was a line when we left. They get the food out fairlly quickly for a big crowd.

A great Italian restaurant choice in Rome. Awesome value and even better food. So many good choices, I could not decide! Definitely a place we will come back to when we visit Rome again. Donato, our server, as well as all the staff were very warm and attentive!

This restaurant is really high ranked but for me the food was just average. But for the price it is okay.

The first time was excellent. We ordered mainly pasta and the dishes were very good. We must have picked the best items on the menu. The kids wanted to try it again. The second time there was a large tour group that slowed everything up, and the food was not as good as the first time. Stick with the past dishes. We got the Roman stew which my son wouldn't eat. We should have listened to our cardinal rule of not eating at the same place twice, with so many restaurants to choose from. It also soured our memory of our first visit.

Stopped in here based on reviews. We had an Airbnb up the block so it seemed perfect for an early dinner. Warmly greeted and seated and they pu u with my basic Italian which I very much appreciated. Started with the carciofi guidea which was great followed by a prosciutto pizza and and pasta amatriciana. All excellence as was the very attentive service. Given a nice limoncello along with the check. Highly recommend and will return in May.

Ended up coming here for twice in a 4 night stay in Rome. That's how good it is! Such good customer service from all the staff, especially Sara our server. Everything from lasagne to pizza, bruschetta to tiramasu is amazing 👌🏼

We selected this place for lunch based on other trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We arrived fairly early for lunch and managed to quickly get a table (it does fill up fast though). Antipasto, salad and pasta were all great and our kids absolutely loved their pizzas. Friendly staff with great English (who put up with our terrible Italian!) and quick service.
