We are often in Milan and we will definitely go back to this staggering hotel. It was recently opened after a private aristocratic house was renewed. It's not exactly downtown but it's on the border of the Area C: this means you won't have to pay for this tax but on the other side you can walk to the very city centre. All the staff was very nice. If you have the budget: try it.

A beautiful hotel, with top notch service. Greeted by name by even the front desk clerk. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We were staying there for our 15yr wedding anniversary at the end of a long trip and the staff made special arrangements for us in the restaurant, such a nice touch. The rooms were creative and comfortable, and there were many little touches that just went above and beyond. That you to the entire team for making our last night in Italy very memorable. We will be back for sure.

Chateau Montfort offers great rooms and good service while in Milan. Our concierge failed to deliver on a tour of the Last Supper, so be cautious about that... but the hotel is good overall. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

We came back to the hotel and again great service and amenities. It's just a relaxing experience. The breakfast was just great... I just felt at home . I also recommended this hotel to a couple of friends and they were very happy to stay at the hotel. For sure that I am looking forward to be back in this facility. Albert Tauby Montréal Canada

We stayed for 5 nights. Enjoyed the hotel immensely. There was a photo shoot which slightly disrupted our ability to move around the hotel lobby on one day, but the staff were excellent at managing the photographer and his giant team. The rooms and layout were really fun. Breakfast was very expensive, so we didn’t have that at the hotel until an incident with the hot water meant the hotel gifted us breakfast for the rest of our stay. It was delicious and so wide-ranging! If you want to treat yourself, try the breakfast!

Super friendly stuff, full of willing to help and make the guests happy, and feel comfortable. The room was nice and clean Keeping very good standards for cleanliness . You could feel the attention to details to make the guests happy. Breakfast fresh and diverted but when crowded the service falls to function. Highly recommended.

We dragged ourselves in after the overnight flight. The staff greeted us professionally and got us checked in relatively quickly. I guess my observation about the whole process was that it seemed cold - when we asked for a restaurant recommendation, the first thing they tried to do was sell us aggressively on restaurant in the hotel, to the point of offering us a 20% off coupon. All we really wanted was the name of some local eateries, which we communicated in the first place. The room was great - big ceilings and a great bathroom. I’d find someplace else next time, though.

From the welcome at reception at check-in, through to a birthday celebration in the restaurant, we were made to feel special and very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and they made a real fuss of the birthday, which was very personal and rare in hotels these days. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. Our room was comfortable with changing mood lighting which was really different. Excellent food in the restaurant with a great selection. We will definitely go back.

I'm in love with boutique hotels and this one did not disappoint! It was a little more off the beaten path that I would have liked but the weather was nice and we were able to explore the city no problem. The room was fantastic but I would recommend that you do not leave the window open as we did, we awoke with bug bites!! The staff was amazing too!

Comfortable rooms with individual décor. Good location with a reasonable walk to cathedral and shopping area. However, there are several, well priced restaurants on the same main street (or over a block) from the hotel. Dinner at hotel is quite expensive and non-traditional. Entertainment in the bar/lounge area in the evening.

We had a one night stay ahead of a flight out of Milan and this was the perfect choice for us. As a family, we were provided the adjoining rooms which is a huge plus. The service from the front desk, bar, restaurant and concierge was first class as well - friendly, personal, helpful and professional. Cannot fault the hotel or personnel and it's an easy walk to the Duomo and surrounding shopping precinct.

Boked this with our flights hoping it would be a real luxury and we were not disappointed! As you walk in the entrance you cant help but be impressed at the decor and style. We had a brilliant room on the fourth floor which had a standalone bath in the room and lots of room. Each room has is own design and uniqueness. Anytime we needed something the service was impeccible. The bar was great and had a lovely selection of wines along with a very attentive bar manager that really took an interest in chatting to his patrons without being too intrusive. Although a little outside of the city centre it only took us about 20 mins to walk in. Would 100% book this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice stay in Milan.

We have stayed here for a many times now and will stay in future. Service is incredible and rooms are unique. I feel like alice in wonderland. Breakfast is one of the best things here. Staff is polite and willing to help you in every way. Rooms are different and every time I'm suprised by the rooms. This is truly worth every penny. Other hotels in milan and same price range aren't anything like this.

Although a little small, a very quiet, clean room, beautiful, well, well cleaned. really one of the best place to stay in Milano, 10 minutes walking distance from the Duomo the heart of the city. The staff is magnificent, very, very kind. Also one of the best in all hotel I have been in Milano.

We had the Cinderella room for 2 nights. Everything was perfect. The room is nice. Personnel very welcoming. We had several gifts from the hotel. We were very satisfied. The breakfast is just huge. Everything is available: different kind of juice, fruit, yogurt, cheese, omelettes, salmon...etc. And the quality of the products is very good. We had a dinner at the hotel restaurant. We were a little bit disappointed. We were expecting more delicious food from a such hotel. The hotel is well located: 15 min walk from historical center of milan. Quiet neighbourhood. We recommend this hotel.

Well located, good restaurants closeby and not too far from the center. Friendly service, cordially people not shy of doing the extra mile to satisfy the client. Cozy rooms stylish furnished. We stayed for a week and I can recommend it.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for a three day city break, we had a wonderful time. Check in was fast and the staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The bar was in a lovely setting, with good cocktails and they give you a tasty range of bar snacks. The hotel itself had a luxurious feel with interesting staircases and architecture, which was impressive but not at all imposing and stuffy. It had a good vibe. Although our room was fairly small, it was quite cute with a nice little balcony. The bathroom was swish, with some interesting features and even a phone next to the toilet (just in case you needed it!?). The air con worked well. We had use of the spa, which was very well designed. The variety of saunas/steam rooms wasn't as big as other hotels I've visited, but this wasn't really a problem as it was a nice intimate setting which was never very busy. The pool was pretty and good for relaxing in after a day in the city. Personally, I think the breakfast was fantastic. It had a wide selection of pastries, cereal and fresh fruit. They also had a chef on hand to prepare cooked options. I particularly liked the addition of a honey comb tray, which looked like it came straight from the hive. In the evenings this area became the restaurant, which I found had very good food but in very small amounts. I ordered ravioli and got 4 pieces. During the meal I was very jealous of the man next to me, who had managed to obtain a full bowl of pasta.. Overall I couldn't fault the hotel side at all, I thought it was really lovely to stay at and the staff really did offer a five star service. My only criticism is that the restaurant staff may need to explain dishes a little better.
