best sea bass of our 14 day trip which tools us from Venice to Lucca, to Florence and Sorrento. Welcoming, warm atmosphere.

Good food and fair prices - we went there several times during our stay in Amalfi. Nice ambiente and service.

Fabulous pasta! Busy little family run restaurant. Quick tasty food, our whole party enjoyed their meal and really good local red wine. Ask for a carafe rather than seeking the more expensive bottles

Our family of four visited twice in our week visit to the Amalfi Coast. Very family friendly, a great menu, and good service. The food was fresh and service was good. Certainly can't fault it at all. My husband and I had the seafood risotto which I can certainly recommend!!

Oh my word !!! I haven’t sat in a restaurant and laughed so hard at the slap stick humour in ages!! I love this restaurants personality- clients were moved from 4 seated tables to 2 seated tables to accommodate each other and happy to do so - a clone of “manwell” was in charge - the menu is limited but brilliantly executed - a really small friendly family restaurant- loved it 👍

This restaurant was on our shortlist of places to eat. It wasn't till the second day that we found it, and it was only yards from our hotel! We were made very welcome by the owner and had a delicious meal. Service was excellent.

Do not be put off by the fact that the owners stand outside to try to persuade customers to enter, its just the Italian way! This is an excellent restaurant. Good food and service at reasonable prices.

As is always the way we found this restaurant on the last night of our holiday, we ordered the Lasagna for my partner and Cannelloni for myself both were homemade, fresh, and beautifully cooked washed down with a lovely litre of house red. So many restaurants in Amalfi and Rome (as we were there for three days previous) are serving inferior dishes knowing they will take money and not bother about reputation, as they will not see the same Tourist twice, and there will always be passing Tourists, not so with La Taverna di Masaniello, they deliver Italian dishes from the soul of Italy. The owner is friendly and informative as are the staff, a proper Italian family run establishment. We did manage to have lunch there the next day and the spaghetti bolognese and the carbonara were every bit as delicious. One note to the owner, could you please apply Veal Milanese in tomato Spaghetti to your menu our favourite dish in UK based Italian restaurants and also a big favourite of German and Austrian people, we looked for this dish everywhere in Rome and Amalfi with no joy, I know you will do this dish justice and will be very good for your restaurant. Good luck to you and your staff.

My wife and I were visiting Amalfi for a few days and decided to try La Taverna di Masaniello for an early dinner. They begin serving at 6PM. We were warmly greeted and chose a back table. I’m not sure if it was the owner but our server recommended the grilled Sea Bass caught fresh locally. It was fabulous. Maybe it my imagination but the food in Italy tastes so fresh. Very happy we chose this restaurant. Besides, it wasn’t on the main walkway which always seems to be a better.

We met Andrea our first night in Almafi. He and his family were very gracious and welcomed us like family. The alici are the best in town. Pizza and pasta dishes are all prepared perfectly. It feels as if you are dining at their house. They never rush to move you along and out the door. Our second time there was our last night in town and they set up a special table for 5 outside. We tried several different dishes this time and all were equally as good at the first. We had to get the alici again! The house red wine pairs well with all pasta and meat dishes. We can't say enough good things about Andrea and the staff. If/when we visit Almafi again, this will most certainly be the first place we go for dinner. Bravo!!

The food was fresh and beautifully plated. Our friend Pietro the chef went out of his way to accommodate us and serve up the best dishes. Friendly staff, great menu, seafood, pasta and pizza! We will be back....friends from Florida!

Despite the presence of a large noisy family and a crying baby this was a great experience. The pizza (gluten free) was yummy, spaghetti with mussels delish, the local wine delicious and the staff friendly and animated.

Although close to the high street / harbour, very good option for lunch or dinner. + Good pasta & seafood, e.g. well seasoned, pasta to the point, fresh herbs + quick & attentive service + prices ok for amalfi coast, seafood pasta EUR 13 - 15 + for starters we had a seafood plattern for 2 followed by 2 x different seafood pasta for main course & 0.5l house wine & 1.0l water for a total of EUR 55.00

Can't fault the food, we had lasagne and seafood dishes, very reasonable prices but the portions are a little smaller than we have had elsewhere. It ranks as the fastest in and out of any Italian restaurant we have eaten at, 30 minutes from sitting down ordering wine and food and paying the bill. If you are catching a ferry then happy days, but if it's a romantic evening then maybe bear in mind you might not get a chance to get romantic...

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner here (grillled fish, pasta, melon prosciutto), and came twice! The location is nice, just off the square.

The best place in Amalfi to eat. It was the best food and service. Very delicious food. It's a familly restaurant and home made food. Tiramisu was the best ever. 😍

Arriving to Amalfi we were looking for a place to eat. We passed by the restaurant and the smell of the food attracted us. The service was very nice and the owner really really sweat! We highly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant.
