I am quite happy with Bars and a mixed crowd and this Bar didn't look or feel Gay at all. Cosy and a really nice warm atmosphere. Had a few glasses of red wine to warm up as it was icy cold outside.Sadly it didn't excite me at all and while in Reykjavik for several days I did not return as I found other bars with more space and interest.

What a delight! Stepping into this cozy little bar is an escape from the cold and a slide into mellowness. Great extended happy hour, two tiered seating is with tables, chairs and cushioned benches. Music is classic Motown (Marvin Gaye upon entry confirmed our decision to stop) but modern funk ala jamiroquai ilk plays at night. Low level lighting completes the ambience. Hope to return and highly recommend.

Great bar! Lovely cosy atmosphere and quite quirky We visited in the afternoon and when it got later on they lit candles and pulled down a big screen with a fire on it haha One of the few places you can get cider on happy hour! Would recommend

Good choice of beers and wines, download the appy hour app before you visit, visited during happy hour and the barman explained the choice on offer, another good cosy place to watch what is happening on the main street in the warm, gets very busy in the evenings

This would be a lovely place in central Reykjavík but the bartender spoiled the atmosphere for me: he put on a patronising attitude for no reason and treated me like an idiot. I noticed he was friendly with other people so maybe he didn’t like my face...

We came in during a happy hour, as adVertised, yet we seemingly paid the full price - 2400 krona for two drinks. Thank he barman was a bit too full of himself, and on the second round served a sparkling water instead of lemonade, although he was specifically asked for a lemonade. Will not be hurrying back there any time soon.

This was a wonderful quirky place with a lovely long happy hour & friendly staff There is some very interesting artwork on the walls and they played some lovely chilled out music while we were there. we visited a few times during the day as it always seemed very busy in the evenings.

We tried this bar as it is one the bars to visit while in Iceland. To be brutally honest, it wasn't our cup of tea, the music selection wasn't great and the atmosphere was really weird. We didn't enjoy our team here as everyone was in their own world

The Appy Hour App found this place for us and it was our first drinking experience in Iceland. Once you get used to the Icelandic prices this place is good value compared to some of the others. It's a quirky little bar and there are some great options for Happy Hour drinks. We stayed for a couple of hours and enjoyed the experience.

Nice relaxed bar in the centre of the city. Well worth visiting at happy hour, the prices at this time are very reasonable when compared with other bars. Very chill place to hang out. We were actually heading to Kiki bar but found this place to be a pleasant pit stop while waiting for Kiki to open.

On one of the main streets, but price for drinks good if you can get "Happy Hour". Busy mixture of tourists and locals, but you'll usually get a seat if you wait a bit or get lucky. We came here a couple of times as had good atmosphere

My husband wanted to try one of the local bars in Reykjavik, and chose Bravo because of it's high ratings. It was just an overall bad experience for me. When you walk in you have to be careful, there is a step up that I somehow missed and slammed into making a loud noise, which resulted in everyone turning to look at me. Not but 10 minutes later a man walked in and did the exact same thing! Unfortunately, he couldn't catch his footing and came crashing into the bar and hit a side table. Aside from this incident, which really wasn't the bars fault, is the fact that the entire place smelled of body odor. Again, I acknowledge, this may not have been the bars fault...but rather one of the customers. Some of the seats are lined with pillows, which I find gross. They looked quite worn and dirty. The bartender was kind, but that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. Overall, I was just uncomfortable and would not return.

Head here for the cheap Happy Hour (till 7). Draft beer is 700ISK, the best price we found on Laugavegur - cozy little place to hole up for a while pre-dinner.

We dropped in here after being upstairs at Kiki Queer Bar, upstairs. Much quieter atmosphere, with lots of people chatting, having a drink and generally socialising. Friendly little place. Open very late on Saturday night! We would definitely go back.

Bravo has both a long happy hour (crucial in costly Reykjavik) and a quirky local charm which made it stand out. Pleasant bartenders and a cozy atmosphere.

Very hipster locals who want to chat with each other, listen to music and enjoy a drink. Very enjoyable place next to Club Kiki. Live female DJ playing from the corner of the room a good mix of music to add to the environment.

Came here after walking around the city for a while. Had a couple of beers on tap and hung out in this place. It's got a nice ambiance and is a great place to unwind after a day in reykjavik. Beers are a little pricey.

Visited here several times whilst in Reykjavik. We found it so chilled, friendly, with great music and atmosphere. The staff and locals make all feel very welcome, definitely worth the visit

We loved our beer. Nice happy hour selection. Good energy, friendly bar tender. Beer is about $9 at happy hour. Smells nice too!
