Lovely pub, good beer, lovely staff and fantastic music. There are lots of different parts of the pub, some don't have live music, some you can hear it - all parts seem to be busy all the time

Perfec Irish pub from 1840. Perfec atmosphere. Tipical irish music. Lot of young people. There is smoking section. Little expencive whiskey, but perfect taste. Personaly I like mor Jameson than Tample whisky, but its a mater of taste. For sure place you must visit when you are in Dublin.

Not much to add to previous reviews. Very nice pub and atmosphere, always crowded. Touristy area and pub so a bit pricey but worth it. Beautiful both inside -all wood- and outside -colours and lots of flowers. Well taken care of. We were staying in the apartment above but had no problem with noise thanks to the double glazed windows. But beware: Tuesdays from 08:00 to 09:00 am 360 beer barrels are unloaded in the street. Now THAT makes noise!

We visited in the temple bar with whole family, we thought that we could eat here but temple was almost full, so we decided to drink something. Service was great and talented. Beer was awesome like always in Ireland. I visited in temple couple of hours later and it was full again. I recommend this bar if you want to drink something, but if you are planning to eat, temple seems to be always full.

It's the bar that is photographed in your tourist guide book therefore it's a must to visit! We were. It disappointed. The place was heaving but it didn't take long to be served. Great atmosphere.

So glad we stopped here! The staff was super friendly and cheerful. We ordered two vegan sandwiches which were lovely. Drinks were grand and atmosphere was fun. The live music was a great time. This was a perfect place to rest.

And why not after all the whole area is named after it so there must be something special about it. We were lucky to find a comfortable table for 4. Place was great for all ages youth and above (we were in the above category). Nice live music with the crowd joining in with the musicians. Food was surprisingly good considering the place was full to capacity. The young lady serving us did so with a lot of enthusiasm and speed. Of course the Guinness was chilled. A must visit while in Temple Bar.

We spent the midday here with lots of happy people and tons of good music! Troubadors were playing and singing and everyone was in good mood! 😊😊😊😊

We arranged to meet here on our stag weekend. just because it was a well-known place. We didn't stay for long as it was heavily overpriced. 8 euro for a pint of Guinness and if you want to drink spirits you'd better re-mortgage. Pleasant atmosphere. Did get the impression, like with a lot of places in Temple Bar that they're just after your money.

Lovely pub. Lovely Guinness, Lovely Music. Just wayyyyyyy expensive. 2 Guinness and 2 Brandy and Lemonades was €30. They were doubles though and you could easily get 1 brandy and make it in to 2. Most of the pubs are around the same price so take it on the chin and enjoy the music 🍀

I would say it is a must as it is THE Temple Bar in THE Temple Bar area. Previously when I was in Dublin, the world record for continuous guitar playing was set! I had to come back to check it out this time. No records being set this May! Still fun and I found the staff and patrons to be very friendly.

Anytime I'm in Dublin I would usually go here in the afternoon to late evening 4pm to 10pm , atmosphere, and music is great, the bar staff are great also, there's an older guy John, he would introduce you to some nice Irish Whiskeys, "Powers" the weekends it can be very full of parties but it's a part of the "crack" you go here to enjoy yourself with friends, etc. Overall it's party central, you make the most of it. If you like you friends to see you outside the bar "live" go onto the Internet "Earthcam Temple Bar Dublin" the cam is above right 20m the chemist green cross sign, when you go out the corner door, you can send a txt to look at you, and ask them to take a picture of you, and put in onto Facebook etc for everybody to see.
