Very interesting place with fun decor inside the large Powerscourt shopping mall. Lamb stew was more like a soup although tasty. Nachos were good. Servers were a little scarce.

There is a terrible smell on the inside I can barely go inside to use the toilets. They really need to look into it. I do enjoy a drink with friends there but staying outside only.

We went to Pygmalion on Tuesday night for their "2 for 1 Pygtails", the buzz was great, staff were lovely, nice seating and good music but probably some of the worst cocktails I've ever had. We got two Tom Collins and two Pornstar Martinis which were all vile, and then decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and get two My Fair Lady drinks. Every one of them was completely awful, as agreed by all of us, and we were super disappointed having just shelled out nearly 40 quid on drinks. I'd go back to Pygmalion for the atmosphere but I'll be getting a glass of wine next time..

This place is fine when you just want a few cocktails with friends and you have no place else to be. I stopped in with a friend for a quick snack and a drink as we had somewhere to be after. Not only were we waiting a long time on the order, when it came out it was wrong, with some of it not turning up at all. It took three waiters to sort out our bill as we had been over charged and fifteen minutes just to get our change. The staff here seem completely disinterested and rude, which is irritating as i am a server myself and put 100% into giving good service and pleasing customers. Only one or two out of eight staff I could see were actually doing their job properly. A little overpriced too, but wouldn't return based on the service alone.

My friend and I wanted some afternoon cocktails in PYG where we have been before. And we are both 19 and keep in mind we have drank here BEFORE. We tried to order at the counter which we usually have no problem doing and we were rudely turned down by a woman who told us Pygmalion was strictly 21's. I would not mind in any other situation, but we have been asked for ID here before and been served and there are NO signs inside or outside the premises to inform the customers of the age restrictions. I found this embarrassing and I will not be returning to Pygmalion even when I am 21. They made my visit in pleasurable.

Pygmalion, otherwise known as Pyg, is a well established 'it' place for cocktails amongst the South Dublin 'huns'. Pygtails, pygs personalized cocktail menu, are on offer as 2 for 1 (read 2 for €13) Sunday through Friday. They also offer somewhat pub style food if you so please. Good buzz, okay music and an eclectic crowd - always.

Really good spot ,love the interior .Cocktials are as good as the rumours , most places that are popular for cocktails tend not to have a lot of alcohol in them but this place does .Dj on even mid week early really good tunes , there's deals on the cocktails as well which make them affordable.Lots of seats but does get very busy so if going with a big group go early . Didn't have any food but I hear it's good and looked nice but limited menu

The seating area outside the Pyg is always busy. I like the look of the seating- its got a real European vibe, especially with the outside seating for Coppinger Row accross from it. We had a couple of gins outside the other night. We were lucky to get seats as it was very balmy and hopping with people. We ended up ordering nachos too- very tasty. I did feel like I was a good deal older than the crowd- I am early thirties and everyone seemed to be mid-twenties. However the atmosphere was great- a very friendly crowd. There are not so many places to sit outside in Dublin so this is a good spot for outside drinking.

I had the worse burguer in Dublin in Pygmalion! Overpriced and not fresh meet. For drinks is ok, as the place is nice for dance and drink.

Have previously been here before and it was never spectacular but the location is good. Went here Sunday for 2 for 1 cocktails, we decided on Pornstar Martinis and asked for 4 at the bar. 4 espresso martinis were made and brought to our table,we said it was the wrong order and the waiter(who didn't make them) asked if we would just have them. I'm not a coffee drinker so we said no we would prefer what we ordered the Pornstar Martinis. We went back to the Bar where the bartender proceeded to blame us for the mishap as she exclaimed aggressively that my friend watched her make them and he should know that coffee goes into the drinks and that's all we were getting. (as she throws the 4 Espresso martinis down the sink and tells us we are getting nothing now) We asked for the supervisor, we were met with the same comeback as the bartender that it was our fault as we watched them make it. They could have been making anyone's drinks in front of us we said. Eventually after about 5 minutes of trying to get our drinks the supervisor told the bartender to make us the drinks. They said we would be waiting a while as there now was a big Q of orders in front of us. I said I would just wait at the bar incase something went wrong again, Glad I did as the bartender only makes us 2 pornstar martinis and says that's all we are getting. we have to argue again for our 4 paid drinks. Surreal experience it really was!! Tip Go to any other pub in Dublin.

My husband and I went to this bar on a Saturday night for a honeymoon. We told the bartender that it was our honeymoon, and asked her to pick a shot for us. She proceeded to pour three shots, we asked if one was for her, and she said yes! Upon paying our bill, she charged us for all three of the tequila shots. I didn't know that bartenders could drink on their shift, and I also didn't know that the patron had to pay for it. We didn't leave feeling in the most celebratory of moods.

Really good for drinking in Dublin, one of the trendiest spots and also with 2-4-1 cocktails a lot of the time. Don't get a pornstar martini though - they poor the prosecco into the glass - madness!

Great people watching on Saturday afternoon (and probably most any other time) on the Coppering Row alley for a pint and burger. Packed when we walked by Friday night.

I have been to Pygmalion yesterday and absolutely loved the place! Beautiful people, good vibes, delicious cocktails (2 for 1, during the week) and great service. Jenny, the waitress who were taking our orders was amazing! Even though the bar was packed, we really felt looked after and the service was quick enough! Thanks Jenny! I am definitely coming back soon!

While wandering around the Grafton Street area I stumbled across Pygmalion. Pygmalion is inside the Powerscourt Centre, which is evidently a trendy shopping area. Since it was around lunchtime I decided to go in. Although the place was starting to get busy I was able to get a table without problems. Pygmalion has an open floor plan with the kitchen off to the side. It is bright and airy, with a high ceiling. It is obviously a popular place, with young families, couples, and friends enjoying lunch. A manager mentioned that they were not as busy as usual because of a bus strike. There is a smallish menu (invariably a sign of quality). I decided to have a bowl of soup (5.95 Euros) and the Chicken Quesadilla (11.95). I had a Hop 13 lager (5.60) as well. The soup was very good. The quesadilla was quite filling especially after the soup. It was tasty, so I felt I had made a good choice. This is a pleasant place for lunch. The food is of good quality, the surrounds and ambiance are agreeable and the service is good. I'd be happy to go back to Pygmalion and to recommend it to others.

I had lunch here yesterday with my wife , she had the eggs benedict and I had eggs royal . Both were delicious . The service was fast and pleasant . They also do 2 for 1 cocktails on a Sunday and a pint of Hoegaarden was only 3.70 . The bar itself looks old and a bit run down but this adds to the charm and it is clean .

Just been here with a group of approx 18 friends for food and cocktails. Food took ages to arrive, staff were so rude- did not apologise when they forgot to bring 2 of they party's meals. Bill came to €300 and waitress (Jasmine) hovered and sat down at the table when we were organising payment. We asked her to give us a moment while we organised it and I quote that she said "I want to go on my break" and rolled her eyes when we gave her the payment. Shocked at how rude she was. Will not be coming back.

It sounds ridiculous but it's true- the music is WAY too loud in here and also it's too dark! A group of us had a bite to eat here and I wouldn't come back. It's a large bar with lots of space. Everyone was happy with the drinks, the 2 for one cocktails. Food was grand, burgers and chips is what we ordered. Not a huge menu. Not bad value, I think it was €13 ish for chicken burger which comes with chips. The service was good to be fair but I will not go back because of the excessively loud music. It was deafening!!!
