Excellent food in a pleasing warm atmosphere. We arrived at 6:30 without a reservation and were accommodated anyway. The place was booked and the reservation for our table was an hour away. We ordered the evening specials; pork chop for me and Chicken quarter for my wife. It started with an oven roasted squash soup and finished with crime brûlée. Moderately priced. Fabulous food and service. Would do it again.

We visited here last Saturday, we were a big group of college friends, who hadn't seen each other in a while, so I'd say the decibel level was high! The staff could not have been nicer, even though some of us were late, there was no rush put on us. The food here is really good, imaginitive and well put together. Portions are small, except for the soup, which was ginormous and quite possibly the best soup of I have ever tasted and I'm a big soup eater!! I have a bit of an issue with paying €27 for a main course and you get no veg or spuds with it, but nevertheless we ordered some sides and really had the lovliest time, I'm sure we were thankful for the lack of carbs, when we were dancing to til the small hours! One issue though, was the ladies toilet, it was dreadful, there seemed to have been some problem with the water and it didn't flush, it was gross!

I had Hake for my main and it was super tasty. I was in a group of 4 and we all loved it. Service was good and the place itself was cosy and nice (not really fancy so you don't need to super dressed up if you've been out all day sightseeting). Early bird menu is winner.

This neighborhood bistro is charming and serves excellent well presented food. My husband and I both had hake and it was perfectly prepared and delicious.

Expectations are set on-line so the shortness of the actual menu came as a surprise. The cooking is competent, the setting a bit cramped, the seating comfortable enough. A goats cheese mouse was a bit on the dull side, confit duck was a generous portion, simple but well executed. Cheese was well kept but the portion far from generous. Service is polite but the timing is inconsistent. 2 courses in rather too quick succession, followed but a lengthy pause. Wine list is short. If I lived nearby I would think of it as an asset to the neighbourhood.

Found the service and space really nice. Went with the set menu which was very reasonable to be fair. Top marks for presentation as well, everything was perfect really except for the the food. For my starter - the leak, potato and smoked haddock soup was tasteless and in need of seasoning in my opinion. The main was along the same theme unfortunately - the pork shank was poor- over cooked and very dry. My dining company both when for the hake and muscle risotto. They found it okay. I can see this place is v busy and does great - for that reason alone I'm putting the meal down to an off night which every restaurant in the world experiences every now and again. I'll be back soon to get it another try.

Highly recommended by our travel company and recipient of many "foodie" awards. It was in a good location and walkable for our large group from the hotel. The place is small and the menu seemed limited to a degree but they were very accommodating in preparing whatever we may want. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts were to die for! Unassuming from the outside but would recommend and dine there again.

Went here for dinner with friends and wow, so glad we did. It's a lovely small restaurant that deals with local fresh food - would recommend booking. I had ox cheek for my main and it was divine, all the food was very good and the wine was nice to. Service was ok, maybe a bit slow, but we weren't in a huge hurry and they were very busy. I will definitely be going here again and highly recommend it!

Came here on the recommendation of our AirBnB hosts and was very pleased by the food and the service. My partner is vegetarian - there was only one choice, but he was pleased with it. My hake dish was gorgeous. Modest-sized mains left room for the delicious deserts. A little on the expensive side but only due to the poor Euro-Pound exchange rate at the moment - but I felt it was worth it!

Often walked by this place on way to barber shop nearby. (I'm practically bald btw)so glad I did. Adored this place. The food is fantastic. Lovely to see a restaurant team work without shouting and roaring. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. AMAZING. Go now. Phenomenal experience 👍❤️

Very disappointing place, service needs major improvement. Our starter arrived before we had ordered our wine. Our main course arrived 15minutes later. Personally I think a meal should be enjoyed and not feel like you are in a race. There is a massive difference between being efficient and being rushed. Chose somewhere else for a relaxing dining experience.

Lovely night out. Great tasting, original, fresh food coupled with attentive service makes for a fantastic dining experience. In fact, best dining experience in Dublin in a long time. Can't wait to go back!

I've made three trips to Dublin over the last couple of years, one on holiday with my family, the other two for business. I've been in the city a total of about two and a half weeks, and have eaten dinner out every night, everything from casual counter-order places to fine dining. The meal I had tonight was without question the best I've had in Dublin, from start to finish. I showed up late (nearly 10pm on a Saturday), and was happy to find a table in the middle of the small main dining room (seven total, a mix of two and four-tops). The menu is not extensive, but the mains included a beef, fish, poultry, and vegetarian option, and they all sounded wonderful. I chose the oxen cheeks with a side of roasted potatoes and a green salad. The beef was amazing, so tender I could cut it with a fork, super rich flavor, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The salad was a simple mix of wild greens lightly tossed with dressing, in a small side dish. The delicate flavors nicely offset the rich taste of the beef. It turned out my main had a potato side, so I overdid it a bit with the starch, but everything was so tasty I ate it all. The beef also came with a side of perfectly carmelized onions. The presentation was as you would expect from a fine dining establishment, everything laid out beautifully on the plate. The regular dessert options all sounded good, but the special for the evening was an Earl Grey tea crème brulee, which I knew as soon as I walked in I was having. My wife has perfected making crème brulee, and her version is now the standard against which I rate all others. The one at Camden Market was damn close to perfect, the flavors of tea melding nicely with the egg and cream. To wrap things up I had a small pot of tea, a lovely service with a small jar of irregular lumps of white and brown sugar--the kind you get with a good service. It was the perfect way to round out an outstanding meal. I am returning to Dublin at least twice more on business trips in the next couple of months, and I will certainly be returning to the Camden Kitchen. I normally like to explore new restaurants and try new things, but in rare cases I will make exceptions for extraordinary experiences, and the Camden Kitchen qualifies.

My uncle who is from Dublin recommended the Camden Kitchen. We wouldn't have known about it as it is not very high on TripAdvisor which is why I'm leaving a 5 star review. This was without a doubt the best meal we had in Dublin and compared to other restaurants in the city was good value. We shared 1 starter, 2 mains, and 2 desserts as well as a bottle of wine and the bill was €96. For the quality of the meal this was well worth the money. The presentation of the dishes was excellent as well as the service. We would definitely book again if we were back in the city.

Was on my way to a gig after a late night at the office and decided to drop into the Camden Kitchen for a treat. My first visit to this small but inviting restaurant and the busy atmosphere seemed like a self-evident recommendation. Staff were welcoming and offered me a table without making any fuss and I settled into absorbing the comfortable atmosphere. I was time pressure so I placed all my proverbial chips on a main course. A nice touch was some nice bread presented to my table to nibble before my meal arrived with some refreshing iced table water. Then my meal arrived and it was a perfect meltingly tender crispy Pork Belly that was complemented by a fine arrangement of food and flavours. My admiration for the kitchen staff rose immediately as I unravelled the excellent combination of tasteful food on my plate. You cannot fake a meal like this only through preparation born of steady practice is it possible to achieve this potential. The work that preceded a plate of food as good as this arriving at your table is to be respected it has the extraordinary coded within the team effort and mission statement of this restaurant. As Olivier would have said it tasted like more but sometimes just a little is enough and then relax and bask in the glory of the pleasure and bliss. It was a shame to rush and the staff were friendly, attentive and very supportive but some fine American music was waiting for me around in the DC Music Club as a desert. I will be back to enjoy the full Camden Kitchen experience in the future because I like people who are good at what they do.

This is a lovely restaurant. Quite small so booking recommended. All the food was beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming, very knowledgeable about the menu, friendly. Reasonably priced for quality and service.

Lovely food! Each dish is carefully crafted to showcase the flavours of the food. I had blowtorched salmon to start with, followed by hake and finished with cheese. Delicious! Will definitely go back

Had a wonderful meal in Camden Kitchen. All three courses were of the highest quality, almost bettering each-other with course. Detailed, seasonal Menu which changes daily, containing game, fish and fresh Irish produce. Maitre D' explained that the menu is changed daily based on fresh ingredients available each day. Service, presentation and food quality were all excellent, one of the finest meals I've ever had.

Presentation was exceptional and food was lovely. Service also couldn't have been better. We had the early bird menu which offers a great selection at an excellent price.

Had a quick lunch here and would need to try the dinner to do it justice but based on what I had, it's great. The pork and black pudding terrine was well made and tasted good. The fillet of hake was perfectly cooked and was delicious. Service was quick as requested.
