Too bad it is so small, because the atmosphere is great, the staff very kind and serving and coffee very good! It is a great way to start a day 😉

Really crowdy and there is not a lot of space to stay. They let you come in with pets, which is nice, but the tables are of low height-not a good combination. They have good coffee and the stuff is nice.

Beautiful coffee and charming, attentive staff. The coffee is excellent! Could not get enough of this place!

This place has very cozy atmosphere. Coffe was very good, flatwhite was really flatwhite. Baristas know what are they doing. Cups for coffe are beautiful which is just a tiny detail but it adds to whole feeling which was very good in the end.

Very nice and friendly place where you can find healthy fresh food! The staff speaks very good English and you can pay with the card. Great for tourists.

The service was very kind and the food delicious. The decoration was also nice but there wasn't enough space, this is the only drawback that I can think of.

Really neat space with really friendly service. The owner talked to us on his way out and told us about everything they make. They roast their own beans and give it a really unique flavour, and make all their pastries and wraps in the back! Pretty inexpensive as well, definitely worth checking out!

My boyfriend and I went to this place and when we walked in, what seemed to be an employee asked where we were from, what types were his personal favorite and when they made in house. Later we found out he was the owner! Even how he described his coffee you can see the passion he put into this place. I had the iced coffee and Brie wrap and it was very good! My boyfriend had the double Expresso - some citrus flavours that are very good! (And not over roasted!!) I would most definitely come back again :)

The 2 of us went here for breakfast but ended up just having coffee. Compact coffee shop which you could easily walk past if you are not paying attention, as we did ! Very friendly staff & GREAT coffee but limited food options.

The place is really nice and chill. Try the cappuccino and the apple brie wrap. It will be around 1600 forints. Thomas is a nice kind soul. Thumbs up !!!!

We rated the goat herder coffee comfortably within the top 3 or 4 in Budapest. It's served the way you'd want it, with a warm hearted and friendly smile. The croissants were fresh and I loved the bircher muesli. We'll be back for sure.

We visited the place for breakfast. The staff is very friendly, the interior is really cool and the coffee is also super nice. We tried the bircher muesli that was delicious and went well with the cappuccino. It's definitely worth visiting if you are around!

Goat herder is taking advantage of no competition in the neighborhood. Their prices are high for the size and quality of the portions. They have not changed a single thing in their menu in more than two years except raising the prices. The service is fast and the staff are nice enough. The seats are not comfortable and the tables are too tiny.

The service was good and the drinks we ordered were very fresh and their taste was amazing. The only disadvantage is the small size of the place.

The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere of the place is really nice. The fruit salad was quite good as well, with a nice variety of different fruits. The filled croissant and the lunch wrap we ordered, however, were quite small for the price of them and mostly just really (really!) greasy.

I had the hardest time finding a good coffee in Budapest. The Goat Herder finally lived up to my expectations of a good cup of coffee. The food was very good as was their lemonade/iced tea. Prices were also very good and reflected the quality of our order. Being a tourist I had some questions about Budapest (public transport, etc.) that I had trouble getting answers for from local Budapestians. Luckily the owner was there that day and we had a long chat about my questions among other things. He also recommended some other cafés and restaurants that we visited and were very happy that we did. The café is quite small but it is very cosy and the music suited the café very well.

The coffee, food and service here is the absolute best. A home away from home for us for the past month.
