Grilled pork sausage with mayoneze - cabbage salad and apple mustard - 2000 Ft We had a number of very good beers. You can find something you will like with the help of a great beer menu The food is good also but we mostly had starters and deserts. One beer to try is the Barbar. It is made with honey. Very nice. However the best part of the night was the server, Sandor. Very funny and charming. He can work a crowd. Thanks for a great evening.

Found this place near our hotel and glad we did - food was excellent, beer was even better! Service was quick and the staff really friendly; seemed to be a lot of local people eating there as well which i think is generally a good sign!

Stopped in because I'd just arrived in Budapest, was hungry and referred by my hotel. I ordered the goat cheese filled chicken breast. I often don't "clean" a plate, but when I do it's because of a meal like this! Delicious!

We found this great restaurant our last night in Budapest. Our AirBNB was down the street and this place is somewhat hidden from the street and the tourist activity. The service was excellent-our waitress Nicky knew her beers, leading my husband to dub her "my beer wife". And, the food was outstanding. A last great meal to remember the city! If you wander over the chain bridge to the castle, this restauarant is about one street from Clark Adam ter- worth the effort!

we go to this restaurant because is close to our hotel, IS GREAT CHOICE FOR BEER in this area, there is a very big list of beers more than 200? most Belgian labels, Foods very nice, from traditional Hungarian cuisine, the Goulash soup is very good, and all dishes, we enjoy. the staff is perfect, they are very friendly, Gergelyl is perfect, he pay attention to help us to choice the right beer ! ! the inner place, an underground traditional room, like a cave, with a fantastic atmosphere, very special to drink beer ! !! Value for money is great, In my next visit in Budapest, first day I will be again here

I generally eat one dinner here whenever I am in Budapest. The beer selection is fantastic, lots of diverse and harder-to-find Belgian offerings -- Trappist ales for sure, but also slightly stranger things like Hercule stout (which is very yummy). Food is decent, a bit pricy by Budapest standards, and when they get busy the service can be slow. But it's a good meal all the same.

Ate here two times because it was only a few meters from our hotel. The food was ok, but not that great. Small portions and not that cheap. Some of the waiters looked like they did not want to be there (bored and not friendly), so the service could be a lot better. Seated their friends (2 people), who where smoking, on a table for 4 so there was no more room for other guests. Selection of beers is great! The desserts are also amazing. I would eat here again if I stayed in the same hotel, but I would not go here specifically again.

We called in here and had a flight of beer on a sunny afternoon. Great selection of Belgian beer on offer, nice decor.

We stayed at the Carlton Hotel which is just a 2 minute walk to the restaurant. This restaurant was highly rated onTrip Advisor and we decided to eat dinner here. We loved it! We ate in the cellar which was so quaint. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We would definitely eat here again.

Belgian restaurant specialising in beer, but with excellent food. The fish platter was fantastic and really good value. Huge beer menu but we only had the draft beer and very limited wine menu.

Had dinner four times here in one week: pork, caesar salad, pasta, chicken...everything better than just "ok" but nothing special. Still best value for money in the heart of the Budapest. And if you are keen on beers, this is a paradise for you: there are about 200 different Belgian beers. Service was nice. They add 10% service tip on the bill, so you don't need to take care about tipping. The location is great; next to the Szechenyi bridge on a quiet little street.

We stopped in here a few times over our few days in Budapest. The staff were mostly friendly and had good English. Special mention to the man with the dreadlocked hair he was excellent and really made us feel welcome. The choice of beers was extensive. We didn't eat there but what we saw being served looked good.

We ate there on a Sunday evening without reservation. We were mostly disregarded the entire evening, seeing others who had come after us to finish before us. The staff, for our occasion, was slow and rather impolite through inattentiveness. We waited to get the menus, the we waited to place the order, then the wine, appetizers and mains. Not in one point did the waiters ask while passing by, "is everything ok?". Disregarding the staff the food was good, but not extraordinary. Tomato soup was not a special treat, neither were the chips (French fries). The duck had a good tasting sauce and accompaniments, but the duck itself was overcooked until gray. The catfish from chef's selection was tasty and summery.

Checked out this place as we were nearby and it had a good rating. I wanted pork but the waiter said it was tough so suggested duck. The duck was pretty bland, overpriced and not cooked that well. My partner had the Caesar salad which was fine. Good beer so I would only recommend for a drink

A Belgian beer menu of over 100 beers means you are never short of something to accompany your local dish

We stopped for a late lunch, and the place was empty. It seemed more likely to be busy in the evenings, as there was a quite a listing of beers. We had a light lunch, splitting tomato soup with goat cheese and a chicken club sandwich. Pretty meager servings, but okay for our purposes. It's a Belgian restaurant, and it felt like a cave.

I must admit to being absolutely delighted by this restaurant situated just down the steps from my hotel. The selection of Belgian beers is absolutely sensational and I had a very agreeable meal. I selected Pappardelle with pork medallions and a sauce composed of Stilton with asparagus and spinach. This dish was delicious and just the right size for my appetite.
