We arrived starving, fresh from dropping our things after the ferry, and the hostess suggested a table was leaving soon that would be available for us. While waiting we ordered house rose and were rewarded with giant, refreshing glasses. Our server suggested alternatives not listed on the menu, and when we ordered a dessert to share they split it in two plates for us without even being requested. We had sea bass fillet and truffle spaghetti to die for and Nutella crepes that hit the spot. Highly recommend, wonderful surprise.

We felt in love from the very beginning with this restaurant/lounge. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the food was great. Even on some days it took a little bit longer (but the staff was always very honest about it in advance) but it was worth it and the cozy relaxing atmosphere made it really easy to enjoy the time. We went every day and really liked the place ! You look for an island to chill and enjoy good food - jerolim is a very good choice !

One of the most beautiful islands in Hvar. We really enjoyed our time here. Nice place and Kristal clear water.

There are great options in Hvar, Jerolim was one of them but not anymore. They have hired new inexperienced kitchen staff. It takes forever to get served and they have no idea how to cook or serve some items from the menu.

We had a nice simple lunch. Don't expect something fancy but we enjoyed the setting. The staff was very friendly. The food not so special but we were very glad we had our lunch here instead of Carpe Diem Beach next door

We randomly selected this restaurant along the with a friend of mine who is celebrating her birthday. We ordered a octopus salad and truffle spaghetti. I like both choices but my friend wasn't a fan of the truffles. Love the ambiance the music is light listening, the lighting is soft adding to a nice view overlooking the harbor. Price is reasonable considering the servings were good for 2 people or sharing. The service is prompt, professional and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. The server is very well informed about the dishes and kept us abreast with our questions. Shout out to Branko.

I recently had two excellent dinners at the Jerolim Restaurant on the waterfront in Hvar - superb tender steaks and mushroom sauce, with grilled vegetables - with a generous glass of red wine. Very good service and excellent food and location - but the group of Italian diners at the next table (3 of the 4 were smokers) took to glitter off this little diamond of a restaurant.

Lovely little island. Access via water taxis which you can pick up for 40Kn per person return to the right of the super yachts (as you look at them from the port). There are plenty of locals who will take you there in their speedboats for about 200Kn return, ask on any jetty. Back to the island, there are three beaches that we visited, all are rocky. The one you see as you arrive, which can get a tiny bit crowded. One if you walk right across the island (narrow bit in the middle) and one if you turn right and walk alongside the restaurant. The last one described was the best, very quiet, each area quite secluded and very relaxing, you can watch the boats pass between islands and in and out of Hvar. Access to the sea to swim was easy although a pair of flip flops or rubber soled neoprene shoes would be preferable to stop your feet getting hurt.

Incredible location opposite the huge yachts. Great atmosphere but would improve with a bit of local music. Class affordable food and fab drinks, generous portions and measures. Most importantly the staff made us feel welcome in Croatia. For ever eager young explorer, become friends with these guys and they will treat you like royalty xoxo #Hvar2K16

Great way to get out of the touristic Hvar city! Beautiful beach and very quiet! Just 5 minutes by Taxiboat for 40 KN. Must see!

We did not visit any of the restaurants. We got the boat first to carpe diem and had some drinks there, then got the boat to take us on to Jerolim. The island had an intimate yet magical feeling about it, and we loved the make shift beach bar on the southern side. The beach to the south is a nudist beach but that's just optional. Overall it was relaxed, beautiful and quiet.

Obviously this year is much better then the last. The food is great and the staff is friendly so I hope that the island with this restaurant is going to be the top place for relax and eat some good food.

Great service, lovely staff, food was great. Very surprised at some of the other reviews. We have been in twice and have enjoyed each time. Would definitely visit again.

Staff were rude. Ordered a chicken burger which was brought out dry as sand. Asked for some mayonnaise and was told they ran out this morning. If you don't have an ingredient to make a dish take it off the menu for the day. I was offered ketchup and mustard, no thank you. If there is one thing worse than a dry chicken burger it's putting ketchup on it like a ghetto KFC.

Visited Jerolim based on a recommendation from a friend while in Hvar and found it charming. I was surprised to see the less than favourable reviews because while the food was big city standards - we found it tasty and on par with what we had eaton on the island. The seafood salad was delicious and the fish was fresh and tasty plus the wait staff were great. (Which we didn't find every where in Hvar) The location is out of the core which is nice as well.

The problem with restaurants on islands is that they have a captive audience, there are finite places to eat so they get business, whether they are worthy or not. Jerolim is not worthy and if it were on the mainland, it would have been out of business long ago. The staff are rude. The food is over-priced. It took over an hour to come out - with no apology - and was cold and under-cooked when it finally did arrive. And the food ultimately is average by Croatia's standards. You will find much better establishments in Hvar to eat - don't waste your time.

Staff were friendly and I would like to start by stating that there was no problem with the staff. However the food was below quality and the worst place we ate in the whole of Croatia. Steak was advertised as a fillet and was definitely not a filet cut. The steak was of the quality that you would expect to find in a stew or cheap steak pie. The mushroom sauce was the worst I've ever had. Really would avoid at all costs.

Worst restaurant in hvar. The meals don't only taste bad but they also look disgusting. Not only judging what the 4 of us ordered but all the food on tables around looked ugly

Jerolim is a beautiful island but make sure to pack your own food. This was our second time at the restaurant and the service and quality has declined. If you have to eat here come earlier before 12pm because afterwards it becomes crowded and the service becomes terribly slow. Food is so-so and priced high because there's no other place to eat on this gorgeous island. Pack your lunch instead.
