While in Hvar we went twice to view the sunset and of course to people watch. As stated in other reviews the drinks are pricey and the service is so so..but similar to most bars of this nature if you want to play you have to pay.

£60 for a bottle of Mouton Cadet Rose that sells for about £8 retail. Do not accept credit cards - No wonder there is an ATM machine at the entrance! Not recommended.

Attentive table service, great DJ and very friendly crowd. if there is a lot of you, the fact that it is cash only is a great problem and difficult. it can't be hard to organise a card machine!

Stopped by in hot sun to have a beer and enjoy the view. Waited for service and one 33 ml Karlovacko beer was 38 Kuna. It was a complete rip off...stay away!

A very popular place with the Hvar trendy set (probably warming up for Carpe Diem) . Serves a good range of cocktails which are very lively in terms of strength . Being just round the corner from Hotel Amfora has an unobstructed view out to the islands for sunset .

End of seasons means you easily gets a sunbed, but also no afterbeach. Pricy. Not much wine by the glass, you expect to buy bottles and spend. The restaurant, Bubba Gump, unexpectedly good food. Close by the sea, ok bathing.

This bar is just in the sea, literally. If you in the afternoon you can enjoy a beautifull sunset view, and if its not too cold, even from the sea!!! It is a bar, so you can drink but also eat. We went there to have a late lunch, we ordered a tower for two, and it was delicious, speccially the "flauts", not expected and really good! As almost always here, and that's something that Croatia in general should review, they only accept cash, not cards, so better be sure of how much money you have with you before you order something, cause we had to go to an ATM to get some cash (even the prices were not cheap at all).

We ate late lunch here on our first afternoon in Hvar. We were a bit past busy season so the vibe was more laid back. Good music in the background. Waiter kept up with his tables. Our lunch was fresh and hot. I had satay, bf a chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals. It does get busier towards sunset. But we didn't face the summer crowds in September as I imagine they have during peak season. If you visit Hvar, it's just a must.

Great place to spend a day - not far from city center and a good alternative to the islands. Nice sun beds, ok lunch. 😎

Some friends recommend this place but we were so unimpressed. They obviously had a better group of people running it that day. Arrogant and unfriendly staff. Totally overpriced and very unpleasant environment. My wife and I stayed there and tried to make it work but eventually left. Felt very unwelcome. It was not the Croatian friendly nature we've experienced everywhere so far.

Upon a little research, we decided that this would satisfy our sunset-chasing desires! Clearly a young and hedonistic crowd, the bar is set along the side of the bay in a linear arrangement, and has plenty of seating and some great music. It seemed to be all outside and no internal areas. It probably gets a little packed and raucous in peak season but we were happy with our cocktails and friends as the sun went down. This was an 8/10 sunset I'd say, not bad considering the weather was a little hit & miss during our stay. Memorable, thanks mostly to the setting.

Me and my boyfriend arrived at Hula hula around midday or 1pm and spent the day sunbathing and swimming, finished with an incredible sunset and a great dj!! We had a small lunch and also our dinner here. The food is appealing for an international crowd, nothing very traditional which was disappointing but it was tasty. The best part is definitely the sunset, there's a great atmosphere. Because we were there all day we had a great spot to enjoy the sunset! I don't agree with many reviews I saw about rude service, they are busy and slower than would be standard in Western Europe but it's a chilled spot and I think some reviewers could adjust their expectations. It's not a cheap spot for drinks but we were drinking beer which was fine! We didn't pre book the beds and we were fine arriving before 1pm! I definitely recommend this for a posh day and great experience!!

Nice view, good music but pricy. If you like to drink a lot and don't mind drunk people around go to this place. The view is amazing, the sunset is stunning from there but the drink are a bit pricy.

Stopped by for a daytime milkshake as we had heard this was a fun place to go. We both ordered banana milkshakes and they were absolutely awful! They seemed to have been made in the bar some hours earlier (or from weirdly warm ingredients) as they were warm, runny and contained lots of small floating brown lumps of banana. We didn't drink them as they seemed a food poisoning risk so just enjoyed the view for a bit and then left. Venue is nice but not worth the disgusting and overpriced drinks! Many better places to drink in Hvar town.

Beautiful scenery, expensive sun-lounges. Funky tunes, pricey food. Spectacular sunsets, quite a laddish crowd.

Cute location for a sunny day. But service was terribly slow around 3pm. We had to wait 40 minutes until a waitress would help us bc she said she was too busy. Food was decent tasting, but far too overpriced (around $24 American dollars for a club sandwich and chips split among 4). They also have basic beers for about $6 each. Rumor has it, it's the place for tourists to stop, and a great nightlife spot.

Hula hula beach bar has the most incredible setting on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. Sun beds to lounge the day away bronzing in the sun. It has a great vibe with light music, food and drinks. Jump into the sea for a swim to cool off when you need to feel refreshed.

Very chilled vibe during the day, young crowd, good music, good location right into the water. Need to pay for sunbed hire

On a lovely sunny day in Hvar we decided to have a walk out of the town towards the Hula Hula bar, around 15 minutes from the town. The views around this stretch of the coastline are superb and it less busy than the centre of Hvar town. The setting is lovely but we were keen to have cocktails and the prices were around £10 each. After much deliberation we decided to go for it and sat down on a couple of the loungers. We had been sat for quite some time and has just begun our drinks when an attendant appeared and asked for payment for the loungers. We asked how much they were and were told that it was 100 kuna each (£12 each). This made the cost of the drinks even more extortionate. We were probably a little naive with the loungers but this seemed an extremely steep price to pay if you weren't intending to stop the day. There were no prices on display for sun lounger hire, as it was we decided to make the best of it and stopped for a couple of hours or more but didn't buy anymore cocktails!
