The bakery is famous for an array of tea-infused treats, such as matcha chiffon cake and roselle scones. Presented on elegant blue-and-white china, the dense green tea cheesecake is heralded as one of the best in the city.

Was brought to the cafe by my Friend, a small cafe hidden in a side street. Nice atmosphere to sit and relax with a delicious cup of Masala Chai tea in hand

Just off Tai Ping Shan Street this small shop is spread out across 3 units all back to back and with an alfresco seating area too. We had homemade granola with yoghurt and pineapple and banana which was a great start to the day. This was followed by avocado on toast with a poached egg on top and chorizo like sausage. My wife had homemade French toast with bacon and maple syrup. The shop specialises in tea so we had red jade and high mountain oolong teas. The toast is made from beautiful artisan crusty bread. We opted for a shared table in an adjoining unit and ended up having a good chat with some expats based locally. All in all a great way to start the weekend.

Such a cute place for dessert and tea! So many tea menus to choose from and everything tasted great. I had their roselle & strawberry cheesecake and orange olive oil cake. Just delicious. The cafe is very very small and crowded so seating can be hard to get.

This is a great place for a very good cup of tea and cake. I had the red jade tea with a piece of green tea cheesecake. Both were amazing. And the staff is friendly, seating is good. Lovely place to visit when walking around this neighbourhood.

Teakha offer an extensive and authentic selection of teas, as well as daily freshly baked cakes and sweet pastries. It is located in a trendy area of Sheung Wan and has a great atmosphere sitting on stools outside. I had a hot chai milk tea and a rose / apple pie - both were delicious!

First, it took me and my friend some time to locate the cafe, even using google map and asking locals for help. haha!! Second, it is great to see a concept menu from them, as they collaborate with Origins at that time when we were there. They offered a set of small cakes with "Origins" theme, and we were given Origins voucher. But we did not redeemed the voucher, as we were leaving HK on that day, and we just passed it to our hk colleague. Back to the cakes, the food is awesome yummy, but super small bites. haha!! As for the tea, they offered special flavours not like the usual, eg) earl grey, etc.. It was good for us to try different flavours. We did not know that the there was very limited space in the cafe, as it is really small. But there is a large outdoor area where you can sit and chill. I would propose to take photos outside the cafe. nice background shoots!

In my favourite part of HK Island is this corner tea store. They have a terrace too. In the shade it was great to sit and read a book, have a chat with others and enjoy the best macha cheesecake of HK I have tasted. A precious gem in this busy city. Feels a bit like Europe.

They have a great selection of tea and little nibbles. I love the cushioned outdoor seatings. The atmosphere is great in good old tai ping shan road. Great for a lazy weekend tea sesh.

I have known Teakha for some time now, with its first café opening on Tai Ping Shan Street in Sheung Wan few years ago. Since some time now there is also Teakha opened in Shek Tong Tsui on Po Tuck Street. Both of the locations are offering a laid back atmosphere which I really like, especially in Hong-Kong where it feels always so busy and crowded everywhere. The staff at Teakhea is also very nice, and I do believe they contribute to make you feel comfortable and relax. While the shop in Sheung Wan is more like a café with all the cakes and teas to offer, the one on Po Tuck Street also have Brunch. I have tried some of the items on the Brunch menu and everything is fresh and home made, I particularly like the Steak Sandwich which is so yummy, they also have pastas as well as some eggs dishes (Asian or Western Style), and serve some quiches which look very filling! From what I noticed they also change dishes on regular basis, so there's always something new to try. On top of the Brunch menu which is quite recent, they also have their signature cakes and Teas. Cakes wise, I really liked the Caramel banana chiffon cake, I don't think it's on the menu anymore (I secretly hope it's going to be back) but there's plenty other items to choose from. And finally for teas, the list available is huge. My favorite one is the Massala Tea so milky and full of spices, I like their brewed teas in general but you also have choice from more traditional Teas. As you can guess, I am a regular. I really like Teakha and wanted to share about the experience. Things are changing so fast in HK and it's good to see that Teakha didn't compromise on the quality of the food/drink they serve and kept the same atmosphere and values as from the beginning. And I believe that's also what made It famous in HK.

Teakha is a nice dainty cafe in sheung wan and it is an ideal place to chill out on a Sunday afternoon over a cup of tea and cakes. I specially enjoy the Masala tea with a slice of delectable green tea cake. The texture of the cake is as smooth as it can get and it simply melts in your mouth. Be aware that it is quite a small place so you may have to sit outside which is a bit of a pain on a humid day.

My local friend brought me to this place to try their famous tea drinks. I heard this tea cafe is famous to locals. I ordered the cold tea with masala spice(s), which is one of the best sellers and it was indeed good! It tasted a bit weird at first sip but it ended up refreshingly satisfying. I would have gone for another round but we had to go try out some other places :)

Absolutely loved this out-of-sight cafe on Tai Ping Shan street. I ordered what I can only describe as the perfect pick me up: Sea Salt Yin Yang iced milk tea at Teakha. This is a twist on the traditional HK cha chan teng drink of a mix of tea and coffee using Ceylon tea from Sri Lanka coffee (roasted by Coffeelovers) and condensed milk! I give it a 4 rather than 5 only for mid-high range pricing and the fact that cards aren't accepted yet which can be a little inconvenient but the staff are nice and I reckon I'll be back to try some food at some point.

Best matcha cheesecake I've ever had! Very lovely and quiet cafe to hang out on a weekday afternoon. Will definitely love to visit here again the next time I'm back in Hong Kong!

I came here on a weekday afternoon. This cafe is very relaxed and chill. It's self-served though, you order at their counter and can choose to sit either outside or inside. Very nice cashiers. I ordered a scone set too - tea + HKD $10 for a scone! :) The scones are warm and the ginger flavored one tastes great.

Located in Sheung Wan, Teakha was within walking distance to our hotel and we went there solely for the Pineapple Bun Sandwich we had heard so much about. The restaurant itself is quite tiny but very cute and the staff are helpful and friendly. The sandwich lives up to its reputation and the pork floss (which we had never heard of before) was actually surprisingly tasty. The sandwich aside they have an excellent tea selection with something for every palate. I tried an odd combination of tea, coffee and condensed milk which may sound awful but was actually very nice if a bit too rich to finish.

The place is tucked away in an alley and is quite charming. I thought their masala chai was great and loved their take on the pineapple bun!

While strolling one afternoon on bridges street, we stumbled on this hidden corner tea house. A charming, funky, lively corner joint which has a cool character and a fresh vibe. True to Hong Kong character this places struggles for space but I love this. They have some of the unique teas from the region, however I go there for their masala chai (A must try). Expensive but worth it. You can either hang around in the open outside the tea house or sit casual in the adjoining complex in the upper level and chill.
