Very nice and cozy hotel. The owners are a super friendly family. Placed at the harbour of Antiparos. Close to the ferry from Paros, the main street with all the restaurants and shops and close to the beaches. We love to stay at Mantalena when we visit Antiparos.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July our lovely room had a fabulous view of the harbour others without the harbour view can use a large communal upstairs terrace. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. We didn't have a hairdryer but on asking we were able to borrow one. The breakfast was plentiful and served until a respectable 1030. As a travel agent I would happily visit again and recommend to my clients

We stayed at Hotel Mantalena for a full 7 days. The room was small, and we had 2 twin beds (which they pushed together to make a 'double'/'full' bed) and the mattresses and pillows were not the greatest. However, when we asked for extra pillows and blankets to cozy it up a bit, they were happy to comply. The hotel is very clean, you can hear the cleaners banging the doors and getting down to work quite early in the morning, in fact. Chalk it up to being a part of its charm. ;) The breakfast is simple, but sufficient. The location cannot be beat, with an absolutely breathtaking view of the harbor and a fabulous terrace. The price is right, and with A/C and WiFi, it was all we needed.

Very friendly and pleasant owners, very good value for money hotel in the heart of Antiparos. Nice views to the harbour. Simple but tasty breakfast with local produce. Clean hotel and rooms but small and not very well ventilated bathroom.

Nice, clean hotel, perfectly located at the harbour of Antiparos. Short distance to the center and main road with restaurants and shops. Lovely big balcony and porch, perfect to chill. Family runned, very serviceminded. Beside of hard mattrasses- until fixed- enjoyable stay.

We have spent 4 days here at the charming hotel on the waters edge at Antiparos . The hotel is run by the family who are all very friendly and helpful. This a 2 star hotel and I was very impressed as I wasn't quite sure what it would be like ! We were offers a large room at the tea of the building or a smaller one no 25 on the ground floor with a balcony to watch the world go by. The room was small and bathroom tiny but as you aren't in the room for long it was fine. There are bigger rooms no 23 and 24 which I would request next time. Enjoyed the simple breakfast, delicious fresh bread homemade jams cereal watermelon yogurt cheese ham coffee juice coffee boiled eggs tomatoes and olives . All so fresh . The wifi works perfectly in the outside cafe in the room not so good . A tv and excellent Aircon and decent size fridge. Bed a little firm but had excellent sleeps so must be good for you! It is a great location, fabulous shops a couple of minutes away. 4 min Walk from ferry! Certainly recommend this charming hotel if you want value for money

The location is pretty good and the terrace really beautiful to enjoy a drink in the afternoon. Staff was friendly too. However, my room was too small, old and would urgently need to be renovated. Overpriced for what it offers.

Our stay at Mantalena was wonderful. Maria was very kind and always helpful, and the other staff as well. They almost made it feel like a second home! The hotel was calm , just like the island, and the triple room was very spacious with a balcony with beautiful sea view. The beds were rather hard but still very comfortable! In the bathroom, the toilets' flushing capabilities were dismal, but that seemed to be a problem of the island rather than the hotel. The breakfast was good, with all you could need for a decent meal, yet not extravagant, and with tables outside so one could eat it close to the sea. The hotel is located right by the port in antiparos, and is very close to the calm city centre. Our stay had all we could wish for and I would highly recommend it because of the welcoming staff and the beautiful rooms and location.

The Mantalena is a charming family run hotel overlooking the harbour in Antiparos town. Rooms are smallish but typical of older hotels in the Cyclides, and it was clean and everything worked as required. The Mantalena was the first hotel built in Antiparos (in the early-60s) and the architecture reflects its age - quite a lot of steps and quirky corridors. That, in a way, adds to its charm. It is also very evidently a family run hotel with signs of the family (toys, pictures, etc) to be found in the breakfast area. Breakfast is a buffet affair and very good too! Plenty of choice and the freshly baked cakes are not to be missed. We'll certainly be going back.

Nice location. Small rooms & bathrooms. Uncomfortable bed. Grubby. Balcony had no chair. Overpriced. Don't bother Anti Paros nice island although this hotel charging 60 euro a night is too much for this basic hotel. Wi-Fi good

Just great yet again. Early in the year but we were looked after just so well yet again. Sea view rooms are great although typically greek so no frills but good all the same, clean and adequate for our needs. For those wanting B & B breakfast service doesn't start until June or unless there are enough guests to warrant it.

This simple hotel is family driven and has a perfect location in the port of Antiparos, just a five minute walk from the ferry. The rooms are clean and have refrigerators and air condition. All staff are very friendly and helpful. In the bar, with a view over the port you can get simpler meals or just have a frappé or a drink, relaxing and looking at the people walking by.

I've visited many Greek islands and stayed in lots of hotels but this island and area is one of my favourites. The hotel is perfectly situated, close to the port and in between 2 great beaches (to the left walking out of the hotel is a nudist beach - nice beach but probably not the best place to take the kids). My favourite thing about Antiparos is the main street which is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It has lots of cool bars, restaurants and cafes. Thankfully its not gone tacky like most resorts and has its fair share of interesting places to relax, eat and drink. The hotel itself is nice for an older Greek hotel. Its obviously been about for a long time but its clean and has been renovated relatively recently. The reception/front of house is very welcoming with lots of comfy sofas and an amazing view. The bedrooms are small and the bathrooms tiny with salt water showers. If you've ever been to a Greek island then you'll be ok with this and know what to expect. We liked the room, it had everything we needed including safety deposit box and a/c. Both were free. We were also given a mosquito plug thingy on arrival but had little use for it. The breakfast is basic but plentiful. The staff all seemed friendly and always had a smile and a hello as we came and went. All in all I would return to this hotel, it had character.

The hotel reception looks lovely, the staff were polite and helpful, and the proximity to the beach and restaurants is an up point. However the rooms are very small and need refurbishing, the bathroom always smelt bad, and the water in the bathroom is salt water. This hotel is a good place to stay, however don't expect a great deal from it.

Good location, clean rooms, nice view from the common use balcony. In the heart of Antiparos 5' walk from the main road with all the restaurants and bars, some rooms have a sea view from the sides of the hotel, not expensive, not noisy at night, breakfast is nothing more than the standards you can find in everey hotel of this category, but it's OK. Owners had just stayed at the typicals. They seemed as they didn't want much to do with the people staying at the hotel. Not very friendly and polite. The worst was you could tell they were not getting allong very well with each other. They could welcome us better telling us which way we should go in order to find the basics, nut they prefered we discovered it ourselves or gave really short answers if you asked for anything. Only the cleaning ladies were polite and friendly!

The whole experience of leaving the ferry on arrival to Paros is amazing... You just keep stepping back from the hustle and bustle of life until you arrive at the ferry port of Antiparos, 400 metres along the seafront is the Mantalena . A warm welcome awaits then the usual booking in procedure done and upstairs to our room on the first floor looking out onto the seafront.... fantastic. All the breakfast was home made... really nice. Then its just what not to do because that's what this place is about.... total relaxation. The morning we left nothing was too much trouble finding us the correct ferry time for the bus connection to Parikia for the onward ferry. Marigoula and your family you are fantastic hosts.... Thankyou

This hotel has a great view balcony and its location is more than great. The breakfast is good. The only bad thing that I would say is that is an old building with lots of noise. The personel is very polite and helpful.
